Promises truly helped change my life, get back on my feet & find the root to my “why’s.” The staff is compassionate, supportive, and genuinely cares about each person who walks through the door. They create a safe, judgment-free environment where you can really focus on healing. The program does a great job addressing both substance abuse and mental health, and I left with tools I can actually use in my daily life. What stood out most was how seen and heard I felt the entire time & the willingness of the staff to go above & beyond. I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for real support and a fresh start.

COME HERE!!! I cannot thank everyone at Promises enough for the amazing support and community here. Without them,my recovery would not be possible. Please ask for Brandee,Felicia,or Sherrod and they will take care of you. Ayanna and Dishi and Shannon as well!! Thank you to all my therapists!!

Promises didn’t just change my life—they gave it back to me in a way I never thought was possible. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with genuine compassion, unwavering support, and a team that truly cares about every single person who walks in. I will forever be grateful to Brandee and Felicia for the love, guidance, and strength they poured into me during some of my hardest days. And the entire team; Ayanna, Dishi, Shannon, and Sherrod, went above and beyond in every way. They didn’t just help me heal; they helped me believe in myself again. I came into this program feeling completely broken, lost, and unworthy. But through their patience, encouragement, and belief in who I could become, I was able to rebuild my confidence and rediscover my worth. They helped me reconnect with the version of myself I had lost and guided me toward becoming the person I’ve always wanted to be. Promises is more than a program, it’s a place of transformation, hope, and second chances. I stayed at Promises recently and had a great experience. From the admissions team on the first day to the support all the way up to graduation, the staff was nothing but top notch. Brandee goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Sherrod, Shannon, Dishi, Ayana, Frankie, Curtis and nurse Kayla were all awesome DHTs. They truly care about you and want to ensure your stay is worth your time. The food is also great and its nice having something different each day. My therapist Devrick was also really good. His energy is contagious and you can see why hes a great therapist. Overall, if you're looking for treatment in DFW, this is the place to go.
