About Seeds of Hope – Exton

Seeds of Hope is a facility in Exton, Pennsylvania, for adults working to rebuild their lives after eating disorders and co-occurring conditions like anxieties and addictions.

The focus is on moving forward while staying grounded in recovery. While Seeds of Hope can help teens, their Exton location is for adults only.

A Private and Welcoming Place for All

To qualify, adults can choose between the intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) options. Each program has strict structures that meet several times each week.

The PHP track is for those with severe conditions and need guidance to prepare and consume healthy meals. Lunch and breakfast are provided alongside nutritional education.

At the same time, clients also gather for counseling. Trauma-informed therapy can address co-occurring addictions that have contributed to your eating disorder.

Narrative therapy and behavioral options offer tips to avoid relapse and to find healthier means to cope. Yoga and other holistic care are also available.

If your substance use disorder is acute, they may refer you to a specialized center for detox or other inpatient services.

When I came to High Focus I was in the highest anxiety state of my life, during my time here I have met some incredible people in group, fantastic holistic providers and had great insight from therapists especially Mark and Sydney. Sydney is my assigned therapist and has had a hand in forever making my life better. She works endlessly to make sure I am heard, comfortable and advocated for constantly. Forever grateful that I found this place and gave it a chance with an open mind and heart. I wanted to do an update to express how thankful I am for High Focus Anxiety and OCD IOP. OCD is something I recently was diagnosed with and had no idea what was going on in my mind and body. It was alarming and through the process of PHP and this specialized IOP for my anxiety and OCD it has truly changed my life forever. Megan is such a fantastic addition to this already great team and I will be forever grateful for all the compassion and knowledge I learned in our short time together. I also was so relieved to be in a room with people who are experiencing something along side as me too and who really understood me. I know that the skills I have learned during this time I will be able to use for the rest of my life. Thank you High Focus!

Clients engaged in intensive outpatient programs (IOP) live and work in their home community while receiving frequent, high-level care. These programs offer personalized care designed to evolve with the clients' changing needs. Many intensive outpatient rehabs require a minimum of nine hours of treatment per week, but high-risk clients and those in early recovery may receive up to 20 hours of care weekly. IOP services generally include addiction counseling, recovery education, and holistic therapies, such as massage.
