I ve been a patient at Holcomb Behavioral Health for almost 4yrs.I have never had an issue with anyone and I can be a difficult person. I m a Gemini so my evil twin is always trying to peek out to take over.My therapist has helped my family and I tremendously! The receptionist - OMG! I haven t seen her since the pandemic but when I have to physically go into Holcomb this awesome lovely lady always ask me about my son and ask how I m doing.I Love Holcomb for more reasons than that. I Love Holcomb because they help me navigate through life when life kicks me down. Holcomb changed my life and my children's live for the better. I feel bad that other people's comments are judgmental. I think that people are so closed minded now & days. So, if you re a patient at Holcomb then don t give up! Because I swear I recommend this life changing facility to anyone that needs mental health support.I wish everyone the best on their journey. GOD Bless You All!

The therapists, group facilitators and RSS s realized how frightening of a time this was and took the time out of their days to make sure I was comfortable. The floor community we had was the most uplifting group of people I ve ever been a part of by far and I m still close with several people I d consider dear friends now. The care from RCA didn t just end when the 30 days passed , the made sure to outline aftercare for me and set everything up , not to mention working directly with my employer to handle FMLA so I wouldn t have that to worry about as well. PRC honestly saved my life. I came here with fear, hopelessness, and no spirituality. Trust this program and trust all of the staff here. When I truly began putting in the work, feelings of hopelessness went away, slowly over time. The therapist I was assigned to here, is extremely supportive and knowledgeable. The clinical director here, is overall amazing. Shawn the program housing manager, I cannot thank him enough. Shawn and Brandt continued to let me back here after many slip ups. They let me back because they saw something in me that I did not see in myself. I believed I could never recover, but they saw otherwise. Everyone here loves you until we love ourselves. Valley Forge Medical Center p | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I'm from Long Island NY. I'm on Medicare and Medicaid. It was a struggle to get approval to go here but God got me in. I actually worked on getting there because I could smoke cigarettes which has been a huge barrier to my treatment. I have never experienced this level of care in New York. The medical treatment was wonderful nothing like NY. Most of the groups are run by people in recovery ( Crissy, derron, foxwell, Anthony and Brian) it was life changing to experience groups with people like me. For the first time I actually asked for more time after detox which is a miracle for me. So I'm writing this for the new Yorkers looking for treatment where you can smoke and find it impossible to stay inpatient without cigarettes. My Journey to this point has consisted of 3 rehabs(not court ordered), 2 DUIs, as well as LOTS of good times, lots of travel, the best Friends and Family! A valuable life worth living! A true Alcoholic that should never ever hold or pick up a drink! Unfortunately now I'm plagued with Kidney and Liver Disease. Initially the mere thought of having a 3 hour meeting with a Therapist and small group was the LAST thing in my Vision. However I need this service for 3 months to possibly get on the Kidney Transplant List. I have grown to truly enjoy Kyle's IOP group. I look forward to it and miss it on Wednesdays and Fridays. Kyle has opened my eyes and nudged me to attend meetings. My answer turned from NO thank you, to I will give AA meetings a go. Keep in mind that I have been in and out of the Program for 20+ years. Guess what? I am enjoying AA meetings now! I dreaded them before. I am grateful to Kyle and his group for pushing me to my next step in Recovery. Such a blessing!! | Adult and Teen Challenge of Philadelphia was a Christian based addiction and substance abuse treatment program for people 18 and older. It was a residential program. Adult and Teen Ch | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I used to volunteer services at Teen Challenge. In 2009 the cost for the entire year was 800.00. I would assume it has increased with inflation but the information stating a cost of $12,000 monthly is inaccurate.
If you need help you should consider reaching out to Teen Challenge. Lives are transformed at and through Teen Challenge, do not let the inaccurate information about the cost deter you from getting help. Also, I believe they have ways of acquiring financial assistance if needed. If you have a problem and your tired of it and / or you have been to multiple rehabs, this one is different. Don’t go back to what you know doesn’t work. Heart transformation vs’ behavior modification. Anybody can change their behavior for external reasons, like they got fired from their job, fighting with spouse, ect. and they really believe that they’ve stopped., but two months after getting a new job and the coast is clear guess what creeps back out? When there’s a transformed heart, the desires are abolished, not tucked away for later. Hearts are transformed at Teen Challenge. In 2009 the program was12 months. You might think that’s a long time. If you do nothing 5 years will fly by and you will be where you are now, or worse off, or even dead. Make a move now and imagine the endless possibilities that can happen in five years. New friends, new career, new location, clear, productive mind. Don’t wait. Do it today.

My teenager did an IOP program at High Focus this fall. The process was smooth from the very first phone call to the intake appointment to the treatment program, and even with billing. Lyra worked actual magic to get my resistant child to commit to going and by the end we had seen real progress (and said child even said they would miss the group). Lyra communicated with us as parents regularly, both with phone calls and with in-person appointments, and she has a way of connecting with the kids while also encouraging the skills they practice. I have dealt with a lot of subpar therapy situations, and High Focus was hands--down the best we have encountered. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
