Before starting therapy, I felt completely overwhelmed and lost. My anxiety and depression had taken over, and simple daily tasks felt impossible. It was here, through PHP, IOP and finally OP that I was in a safe space where I was truly heard without judgment. I learned practical coping skills to challenge my negative thoughts and regain control of my life and confidence. I am deeply grateful for having such a strong team of therapists, thank you Mark, Rachel, Sydney and Megan. I want to also thank Lisa at the front desk for starting my day off with a warm hello every time I came through that door, sometimes it’s the little things in life that matter.

You cant imagine the incredible experience at RCA. I was being weaned off valium (post AFIB) and needed to be monitored. But I went to most of the sessions with these healing addicted people. Seeing these people getting their green bracelet and the smiles and friendliness was life changing and responded to them with congratulations. I've been driving my father here, several times a year, for quite some time now.
Staff is always welcoming, the doctors, in any field, always speak with my father like they've been friends for years & making sure he knows exactly what to expect before, during & after his procedure/surgery.
Athough it's a hike from the Atlantic City area, the doctors & staff make the drive worth it every single time. I'm actually here now & although there's a bit of a wait, it's still comforting knowing my father will be in good hands.

Norristown, PA | Valley Forge Medical Center and Hospital of Norristown, Pennsylvania, offers substance abuse and mental health services. There are lots of options in the medical center, including a detox program and a residential rehabilitation program. The clinic accepts self pay and various insurances, such as Medicaid and Medicare. Valley Forge Medical Center p | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My sister and I admitted our father to the rehabilitation center six days ago. Only the workers and patients are allowed inside. The guard stopped us at the door, but he was friendly and empathetic. He assured us that he would be well taken care of, which was true. I was particularly concerned about his safety and well-being because of the negative reviews I had read. According to the rehab policy, I couldn’t contact him, and he was only allowed to make phone calls with his counselor. He managed to make one call and was released today. I finally had the opportunity to talk to him about his experience.
Our father is a retired attorney and highly intelligent, but he has struggled with addiction throughout his life. He can be belligerent and argumentative at times. I was unsure how the staff and residents would interact with him.
To my delight, my father had an excellent experience at the center. He described the facility as spotlessly clean and the staff as friendly and cultured. He praised the food and mentioned that he was able to get plenty of rest. The only downside he mentioned was that patients were limited to two or three ten-minute smoke breaks outside and there were no activities to keep them occupied, making his days feel long. I found this to be a pity, considering the center’s beautiful surroundings. Fresh air and sunlight are essential for health and well-being, but that was the only complaint he had. Overall, I highly recommend this center and wish my father had chosen to stay longer.
I would also like to mention that the admission process was quick and easy. The representative was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this center, provided that you are okay with not being able to contact or speak with anyone from the center at all or hear from your loved one on a very limited basis.
Thank you!!

Entered Valley Forge Hospital 36 years ago today (July 18,1981) and today I celebrate 36 years of continuous sobriety. The staff at the time taught me to listen, learn and examine my motives. I was a horrible patient but they got through in spite of myself. We started the Valley Forge Alumni Association (me, Linda McD. and and Curt C.) in 1981.The place has done a lot of good for a lot of people. Sobriety isn't for those who want it or even for those who need it. Sobriety is for those who are willing to do the work to earn it. Once we stop complaining and start doing the work, life gets better. May God continue to bless us all. EDIT. Just celebrated 45 years of continued sobriety. Everything I said 9 years ago still holds true. Sobriety is earned on a daily basis. Life is wonderful. July 18, 2026. Keep on keeping on. Sobriety works...... Just keep doing the work.

I would assume it has increased with inflation but the information stating a cost of $12,000 monthly is inaccurate.
If you need help you should consider reaching out to Teen Challenge. Lives are transformed at and through Teen Challenge, do not let the inaccurate information about the cost deter you from getting help. Also, I believe they have ways of acquiring financial assistance if needed. If you have a problem and your tired of it and / or you have been to multiple rehabs, this one is different. Don’t go back to what you know doesn’t work. Heart transformation vs’ behavior modification. Anybody can change their behavior for external reasons, like they got fired from their job, fighting with spouse, ect. and they really believe that they’ve stopped., but two months after getting a new job and the coast is clear guess what creeps back out? When there’s a transformed heart, the desires are abolished, not tucked away for later. Hearts are transformed at Teen Challenge. In 2009 the program was12 months. You might think that’s a long time. If you do nothing 5 years will fly by and you will be where you are now, or worse off, or even dead. Make a move now and imagine the endless possibilities that can happen in five years. New friends, new career, new location, clear, productive mind. Don’t wait. Do it today.

At their center, they know how difficult and dangerous it can be to quit opioids and alcohol, so that’s why they offer medication assisted treatment in the form of Suboxone. I have a feeling that since there are sister clinics that are run by the same owner company that you got mixed up somehow because the hours were completely wrong and so is the information you’re better off just calling.

This clinic is amazing. Saved my life and I have been clean since I started here. They will work with you I didn't have a valid ID when I started and they still helped me. The staff and nurses are kind and compassionate. My counselor Maddie is the best and is understanding, a good listener and on top of appointments. I am so grateful I started coming to this clinic it was the best decision I could have made.
