About Serenity Education and Therapy
Serenity Education and Therapy is a drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Lakewood, Colorado. They provide classes and therapy to people who have been convicted of DUI charges and to those who are experiencing substance use disorder or alcohol use disorder.
They offer both Level I and Level II drug and alcohol education. Level I education includes 12 hours of classes about the effects of drugs and alcohol on your body. There is an intake fee of $100. The cost of classes will depend on the level of treatment you need and the number of classes you take.
In the state of Colorado, Level I education is normally offered to people who are under 21 and have been caught with over 0.2 breath or blood alcohol content (BAC). It is also offered to first time offenders over 21 who have a BAC of 0.5 to 0.79. The classes are given over the course of three days or longer. Level II education is for adults over 21 who have been charged or convicted of driving with a 0.8 level of alcohol or illegal substances in their system.
People who have been convicted of DUI are often required to attend therapy. This facility offers group therapy that will fulfill these requirements.
There are four different tracks of Level II therapy that are based on the severity of a person’s DUI charges. The shortest track of therapy is 42 hours and lasts for 21 weeks, and the longest is 86 hours over the course of three weeks.
They are licensed by the Colorado Department of Behavioral Health. They offer classes over Zoom. Former clients have said the staff is helpful and caring.

Other Forms of Payment
Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.
Addiction Treatments
Treatments
The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.
Professional services are often necessary to recover from addiction. Drug rehab in Colorado provides the expert services needed to address the complex issues of addiction and help individuals start their recovery journey.
A combined mental health and substance abuse rehab has the staff and resources available to handle individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. It can be challenging to determine where a specific symptom stems from (a mental health issue or an issue related to substance abuse), so mental health and substance abuse professionals are helpful in detangling symptoms and keeping treatment on track.
Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Clinical Services
In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
