My name is mariana Bordeaux i was in APA for 2 years and i was abuse by the staff and the tss.
What they did to me was wrong. i never did anything to deserve this.
i was wanted to leave that place because i was abuse alot from them.
i had burns and bruises.
i watch my peers get thrown down to.
tell why are they doing this to everyone no one actually deserve this.
My friend killed herself because she burns and bruises on her body and she could not handle apa anymore.
she came home crying because apa abuse her.
APA why are you doing this people.
Stop abusing kids.

I have been a patient here for several years now. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff, counselors and clinical psychiatry team. They have always been easy to talk to, easy to work with when I've needed medication adjustments, and they're even willing to get scrappy with my stupid insurance company when they don't want to cover my prescriptions. I am appreciative of everyone here and glad there's a place like this in Mitchell so I don't have to drive even further to Sioux Falls :)

Dr.Neibauer is my primary care physician and I was seeing her for my annual physical. She is very professional and thorough. She does an excellent job of listening and explaining the various issues I am dealing with.

My wife had surgery there and stayed three nights. The entire staff were awesome! They were extremely friendly and caring. The staff managed to make her stay a comfortable experience. I can't thank Nurse Sam and the rest of them enough.
I have been going to Bartles for years. Jennie has be WONDERFUL to talk to. She has been such an amazing help in all the things I've been delt with over the years!!! Getting an appointment has been a breeze with awesome staff helping to get me on the schedule and being flexible!

I am so thankful for Bartels Counseling. They have provided countless practical tools and steps as I have gone through my journey toward personal health and wellness. In addition to their great knowledge and expertise in counseling, they are very organized and provide timely response to any questions and scheduling conflicts. I highly recommend if you are struggling with addiction to opiates/heroin. If you want to change your life around don't hesitate The doctor is amazing and listens. The Nurses are so sweet. I'm going to miss one of the Nurses it's her last day. Also the counselors are all great people. I enjoy going talking to my counselor.

Excellent place for healing and restoration. The Avera Team are just that, they work together very well for the care of every individual. You are guided to recovery day by day You can trust in them.
Doctor Thorpe was the blessing I needed for what I've been dealing with for a long time. She was very thorough, when I didn't know where to start with all of my issues. She went through all of my history and afterwards explained, with certainty, what I had and how my symptoms relate to it. She also prescribed a medicine and is going to help me find a therapist.
I had been debating going for such a long time, because I was certain I'd be turned down or not heard. It was quite the opposite.
She was a breath of fresh air. She was very personal, very kind and uplifting. I couldn't thank her enough, but, I wanted to leave a review, because, she made a positive change in my life that I needed for so long.
I'm so glad to finally have some questions answered. To finally be validated. To finally be heard and taken care of.

Jim White is the best I’ve went through. The man has used his personal time to reach out and give books for classes when I was short on time and always gave me the most rational opinions. He speaks fluently and logically.
I have not heard of or used southeastern directions for life, but a therapist named Tyler came to meet with a family member of mine when she was in a crisis. After they finished talking my cousin was in a much better mood and I felt better knowing she has somewhere to turn to in times of need. Thank you.

We've been using SBH for a few years and I am extremely satisfied. My son has difficulties trusting and opening up (as well as others), and his counselor has been amazing at gaining his trust and doesn't push him too hard. I've seen some positive changes since beginning and couldn't be happier with them!
I highly recommend this place! The people there are really cool and understanding. I like the small groups and feel comfortable sharing. It's nice to talk to people who share my same experiences and struggles. We even had a pizza and movie night!
