This place I would highly recommend!!! The staff and everyone in this place is absolutely amazing!!! They truly care and want to help. They love you unconditionally and help you move forward not focus on past they saved my life and many others I know who came to this program that I meet while there and even family members of mine as well .

New Life isn t rated #1 in Minnesota for no reason. This place has completely changed my life, my outlook on life, and my outlook on myself. I ve been there twice (2017, and 2021) As much as I d love to go back because it s that amazing and life changing, I don t see that in my life plans unless it s for a visit/fundraiser. I can t explain to anyone how great the Program Director, Scott Radloff, is. He never fails to go above and beyond for the clients in his care. He worked so hard to get me in there back in May of 2021, when I wanted to go there again and didn t want to go anywhere else, and needed help immediately. He is so kind, and always has the right things to say at the right time. All staff there is great, my group of girls was amazing and so close both times. I could sit and try to think for hours and not be able to come up with one negative thing to say about New Life. If you re struggling, please choose this place! Because of my desire to stop using drugs, and with the amazing help of this place, I am about to come up on 2 years sober! Thanks NLTC for taking the girl who was broken into a million pieces and helping me make myself whole again! I am forever grateful.

This was my first visit with Dr. Neibauer to establish care. I found her to be professional, personal and thorough. I am looking forward to seeing her as my primary care provider.

I saw Leah Mergen-PA. She listened to my concerns and did not give her opinion until she examined unlike my former PC Heidi Feistner has done the last 3 years. Leah is a gem.

This place helped change me in so many ways. Helped with my addiction, my self esteem and codependency. The bonds you make with the women and the friends you make was great. If you take it seriously, this program does work. Do the work, put in the effort and make a change! 12 years sober and it s great. Highly recommend this place.

Dr. Hillman is a wonderful doctor whom I just started seeing at Avera in Worthington. She is kind and takes time with me to figure out meds and what will work the best for me and my situation. I'm so glad to have her as my physician!

Dr.Visit

Many of the people posting negative comments are not complaining about Avera, they are complaining about a particular doctor. The trick here, as it is in every clinic in the country, is getting a doctor (what we used to call a GP I guess) that's right for you. I have Dr. Lilgaroth, she is great, so I gave 5 stars. My wife has had bad experiences in the past with so many male drs (the old "you're a woman & I'm both a man AND a doctor, so I'm gonna ignore what you say") that she finally demanded a female doctor, and that happened to work out great for her. Gender may not have been the reason, she may just have got a great dr-- the important thing is, my wife was comfortable with her. When her female dr retired, she ended up with a male dr (Dr Gunderson, I believe?) and she says he is great. Ya just gotta shop around and get a doc that is a fit for you-- that is true of any clinic, not just Avera. But I've also had pretty much all positive experiences with other parts of the clinic-- reception, labs, nurses, Avera hospitals, even the money people. (Btw, I'm not a nice guy or a pollyanna; I am by nature an extremely demanding pain in the, uh, rear.)

Morgan is the best tech there. So thoughtful and kind. Needs to be better on wait times though.

i ve been here 3 times. I was in adolescent 1 twice and the food is good, fun groups and the staff is nice and they care. They will talk to you if you need help or play card games if they are not busy. They show you how to cope as long as you re paying attention. some kids there can be rude but it s not personal and doesn t happen very often.

I have 18 year old son he had a head surgery 3 years ago and now his start using drugs and alcohol 24 hour I try to change him but he never listen to parent and we have another 9 years son stay together at same house so because of his behavior he start feeling depressed because of his brother behavior

I highly recommend if you are struggling with addiction to opiates/heroin. If you want to change your life around don't hesitate The doctor is amazing and listens. The Nurses are so sweet. I'm going to miss one of the Nurses it's her last day. Also the counselors are all great people. I enjoy going talking to my counselor.

They changed my life, to they are like family and anyone that goes there and REALLY works the program will agree. I have been a patient for a long time and have had my fair share of relapses but the team here has stuck with me and kept my accountable and on a constant path of serenity. Thanks guys!

Without this methadone clinic I would not be able to live here. I am very grateful they are here to help.
