About Stepping Stones Alano Club
The Alano Club hosts 12-step meetings, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA), that support individuals to overcome substance use disorders. Their core program involves attending regular recovery meetings, working with a sponsor, and being of service, such as taking a volunteer position or helping a newcomer. Anyone can attend, the only requirement is a desire to stop using. Meetings are available throughout the day, seven days a week.
Peer support staff are trained and certified individuals with lived experience of addiction and recovery. They support individuals seeking recovery, by providing recovery planning and goal setting, support navigating services, and mutual-aid support. They may also attend meetings with clients.
Stepping Stones Alano Club is a free service and supports itself through member contributions and those who volunteer. Participants may be referred to additional services that accept private insurance plans such as may accept a variety of insurance plans, such as Cigna, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Amerigroup, Ambetter, United Healthcare, and more.
