About U – Turn For Christ
The residential program is a two-phase program that focuses on the power of the Holy Spirit and one’s faith to help one create a new life. The program functions as a ministry and supports those with chemical addiction, along with other forms of addiction in regaining their lives. Clients live with a structured schedule that allows them to focus on their unresolved needs, areas of challenge, and spiritual growth. Each person is guided through Biblical teachings that help them begin to use Christ as a path for healing. The 12 Steps is also implemented in the residential program.
U Turn for Christ offers long-term stays, but upon completion of their program, many individuals stay involved in their efforts. Alumni groups and being involved with helping those who are new to the program are common ways for individuals to maintain their recovery by staying connected.

Addiction Treatments
Levels of Care
Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Some rehab centers specialize in short-term residential treatment (a few days to a week or two), while others solely provide treatment on a long-term basis (several weeks to months). In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.
