Nothing lacking. All referrals are handled in a timely manner. I have three specialists downtown, so I rarely ever have to go the Prescott VA, plus we have a decent hospital in Kingman. I do have some accute health care issues, but have always been taken care of well. I will rate the Kingman clinic 5 outta 5. Thanks for all the good work. She helped place me at a time that worked best for me and didn't stop until she was able to. Every time I've gone in, she's been so kind and friendly, always saying hello. Having someone like Vickie at the front desk who actually cares about the people going there is irreplaceable. I was placed with Shellby, who is an amazing and talented therapist. She radiates a safe space and immediately made me feel comfortable. Shellby has never seemed judgemental or demeaning with anything I've brought up, and is so knowledgeable in the things she says. Now that's out of the way I just wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude and just adoration and affection for those individuals who have worked with me and aided me through this journey and I am sad as I no longer am in services as I will not go to anyone else I made that clear upon first working with them after everything else and everyone else they are and were the only place/group I would ever work with again so it does pain me given the circumstances. They became such a invaluable part of my life of course my silly mind seen the services provided as for life , they aided me to where I became expectant and I apologize for that. I miss the opportunity of being able to have such valuable consul I accomplished so much outstanding feats truly I don't think I would have nay I know I would never have accomplished so much if it were not for their support, sad to say I got complacent and forgot things I think we all did. I had given up on sobriety as I had tried in the past and even gone to treatment, but never was comfortable being sober. I couldn't envision a sober life, but I was quickly spiraling as my substance use increased during the early part of 2026. I decided to reach out to Wolf Creek to give it one last try and I'm so glad I did. I attended the PHP program for 90 days, from March through June 2026. Wolf Creek has a family atmosphere where the staff really cares and takes the time to connect with clients on a personal level. The housing was very nice and the activities are great. I felt like a kid again being able to go the the batting cages and bowling. Most importantly, I feel connected to life and people again and have lots of hope for the future and a sense of purpose. I thought I could just go for 30 days because I had worked programs before just never been to rehab. But the first two weeks I thought were a complete waste because I was so angry with myself for the position I had put myself. It wasn’t until my daughter called me and she was hurting, I was able to articulate and say just what she needed to hear. Just by being sober for a couple weeks my mind had started to clear. It was at the point I decided to start working the program being that I hadn’t up to that point. 30 days turned into 45, which turned into 90, and I eventually did 120 days. Something I never imagined when I arrived. I put myself in every vulnerable situation I could and did everything I was asked. I dealt with demons that I didn’t even know were causing me problems. It helped me work through things on a much deeper level, and I’m so grateful for the therapists who guided me with so much compassion, patience, and professionalism. Another part of the program that meant a lot to me was the family therapy and integration component. Wolf Creek recognizes that recovery affects the whole family, not just the individual. The support and involvement they provided helped create more understanding, healing, and healthier communication for everyone involved. The facilities and amenities are beautiful, upscale, and incredibly comfortable while still feeling warm and welcoming.
