Walked in to see if I could make an appointment for a quick ear exam. Nice lady at the front desk messaged someone and told me to wait a minute. Nurse came out 5 minutes later and brought me back, looked at my ears, said I was good to go.
This my friends, is customer service at its best. My home VA is in WA, so technically they did not even have to see me, but did so as a courtesy. Grateful and now I don’t have to worry about my ear. Thank you!

This place is horrible. Ive been wanting to discharge tomorrow because they wanted me to wait and talk to the therapist on Monday because they wanted to find me different placement but my pancreatitis (that I've had for 4 years) started flaring up and the horribly insensitive bht said "so you just "know" you have pancreatitis? How could you possibly know that" maybe if she took a second to read my file she would see it's in there. I also said "because I've died from it. I've been dealing with it for 4 years. I've had 7 specialists in the last year because of all the cysts and stones in my pancreas." So ignorant. So I was going to go to the hospital but it's pancreatitis and I could be here for DAYS. And they wouldn't let me take my phone so I had to leave. I can't be stranded with no one to no phone and no way to check in with my support system and let them know what's going on
That's insane. And earlier I was speaking with the bht ashley asking if I could do a video call with my sponsor to work on my steps but then the bht Ashley was like "how are you on step 4 and you've been here a week?" I said "because I'm already in the middle of working my steps. Also no one told me I had to restart them. So I said "were on step 4 now"
And she looks at me with snarkiness all over her face and said "are you serious ? You're 16 months sober and you're only on step 4?" In such a way that was so judgemental. M
ind you, Ashley had just told me this morning she never even worked her steps. So who the hell the hell is she to judge me. I've had the worse year of my life and my sponsor wanted to do it slowly because I had so much going on in my life. Not that's ITS ANY OF HER BUSINESS!!!
The phone thing is also ridiculous especially because the head bht said I can have my phone if I won't ama tonight. Zero communication. No one laid out ANY of the rules for me so I didnt know and I got in trouble all the time and I had other clients jumping down my throat about things no one told me. No one was on the same page. I was told all week I can be outside until 12 and then it suddenly changes and no one told me.
The entire care team really does not care about their clients at all. No empathy. No compassion. The facility just needs the insurance money.
My mental health got 10× worse being there. I was on edge and having crazy anxiety the entire time because everyone was so rude. Bhts and clients.
This is not a place for healing.
Oh and they took 2 days to get me my medication.
Do not waste your time here.

I know my name might be weird but I wanted to stay anonymous. To parents who wants to put their child here, DON’T. It may seem smart but the workers are HORRIBLE and so neglectful towards people who need help. If you are quiet, the workers will strongly dislike you. They visibly pick favorites. I have been here myself about 1 year ago, and my sister just recently got out. We talk about the workers and how rude they were.

I attended the meadows in 2022 and suffered such severe PTSD that it has taken me two years to be able to talk coherently about my experience there. I did their inpatient and residential levels before signing myself out AMA due to how absolutely horrible and traumatic the program was. This place does not care about the patients at all and is only focused on how much money they can get from you. I’ve been in a few treatment facilities and I can honestly say this was the worst and most traumatic place I have ever been to. I could write a whole book on how terrible the meadows is, but here are some highlights:
1. I was admitted on a Friday and had to wait until TUESDAY before any staff members met with me
2. They took away my cheesy YA romance book because it was about two lesbians and that “wasn’t appropriate for the other patients to be around” even though we were all adults over the age of 22
3. I had a panic attack during my first meeting with my therapist and she literally sat there and stared at me, SMILING. Then after 10 minutes sent me back to the other patients without any help or support. This was THE ONLY one on one time I had with her during my entire stay in the inpatient unit. She never once checked up on me outside of that “session”
4. The staff is frighteningly uneducated in eating disorders and some of the BHT’s didn’t even have college degrees and yet they were the ones in charge of all of the patients. One BHT said she didn’t even know the difference between anorexia and ARFID and another replied that ARFID was just a “wanna be anorexia”
5. BHT’s complained about having to “babysit” the patients and constantly complained about having to perform flush checks. They acted like having to do their job was an annoying chore and that it was the patient’s fault they couldn’t sit at their desks on their phones all day.
6. I was forced to go to Christian mass in inpatient even though it did not align with my beliefs
7. The groups are an absolute joke. The BHT’s, nurses, and therapists never show up prepared. One nurse leading a group told us she didn’t want to be there and had just printed out a word search for us to do (again, we're all adults over the age of 22)
8. The psychiatrists will push medication after medication on you whether or not you want it. I went in on 2 meds, came out on 8 daily and 6 as needed meds. That’s FOURTEEN medications!!!! And not only did they ignore my concerns about side effects, they ignored the fact that I have a chronic illness and certain meds make that condition so much worse.
9. I was the only patient there who was openly queer and no matter what they tell you on the phone, it is an extremely unsafe environment for anyone in the LGBTQ+ community.
10. The staff clearly had favorites and ignored everybody else. If you tend to be quiet, shy, reserved, or socially anxious, you will get ignored at best, bullied at worst.
11. The food is barely edible and truly disgusting which is not great for people who are recovering from eating disorders. One night, the dinner we were served made everyone sick but we were all still forced to eat it.
12. When I said I wanted to sign myself out AMA, I was told that I would never recover on my own because I wasn’t “strong enough” and if I left early, I would inevitably be back at their front door in 2 weeks, begging for their help
13. I was told that my worsening PTSD symptoms were getting worse because I “wasn’t trying hard enough” to get better and that if I "just changed my mindset, I could be normal"
14. After I decided to sign out AMA, the staff became worse. They outright ignored me - I would ask a question and they would not even glance in my direction. A few made rude comments and visibly rolled their eyes if I said anything. My residential therapist actually told me I was wasting her time because I said I wanted to leave.
15. The nurses do not tell you what medications or vitamins they are giving you and expect you to just obediently swallow whatever cup of assorted pills they hand you
Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

While the directors are awful & there is an abusive 'trauma therapist' (she yelled at an 11-year-old to grow up) but this is the nicest inpatient I have been to. Consider the fact I was in multiple abusive inpatients that took attorneys to get out. Here we get to go outside and the doors are not locked. It doesn't feel like a hospital, just a big house. I have been able to process the trauma from this place & when I was re-united with my family after a year of treatment centers I finally healed. There are some bhc's that are amazing, while others are awful. Tina the therapist & the psychotherapist & the relaxation room therapist & tai chi instructor are amazing, kind people. Inpatient facilities are usually cold locked hospital floors. I loved sitting outside every morning, and I even got to swim with an NG tube. While I didnt make friends here I still had my happy moments along with my bad moments. also thank you to the kind nurses, they truely make a difference. I attended summer of 2023.

I was at the Meadows Ranch this past summer, June-July of 2023. I have only good things to say about the program. My experience was life changing. That being said, I was desperate to recover. I think that, more than anything, is why I had such a positive experience. I also participated in as many optional challenges as possible. I opted in for survivor's week and family week. Honestly family week changed the way my husband and I treat each other and helped us both understand what the other was experiencing. We both agree that it saved our marriage.

My team fought for me to progress toward my goals prior to discharge, which meant so much. I’m in a much better place because of my journey at Rosewood. Some suggestions include more content/process heavy groups and better communication with aftercare providers. Can Confidently say Rosewood Ranch saved my life! I was a client here twice both times In 2024 on the adolescent side. When I was first admitted I had just been discharged from the hospital and was in a dark and scary place in my life where I truly did not think I was going to get better. When I first arrived, I was very scared and nervous as it was my first rtc I had been to. After acclimating I realized truly how healing Rosewood Ranch is. A little bit after I discharged I realized I needed more help. I was embarrassed to come back however the staff were so so supportive and welcomed me back with open arms. After leaving The Ranch the second time I was admitted to Rosewood Php and later admitted to Rosewood Scottsdale but I credit majority of my recovery to The Ranch. The therapists and dietitians here are very knowledgeable in ed treatment. Thanks to Rosewood Ranch I have my life back.

As a patient at the adolescent side... I was very lucky to have a great community and various great staff members. I came from another residential because i needed to be stepped up to a higher level of care and I would not have wanted it to be anywhere else. Yes there were days that sucked but every treatment center has its bad days. Dave was an amazing therapist and Malia was a great dietician. I was in a very bad place with my eating disorder and rosewood was able to renourish and help me start my recovery journey. I will always be appreciative of the help i recieved. No matter how hard it was in the beginning but by the end of my time their it truly was a big help. If you or your kids are struggling I would recommend rosewood.

I completed treatment here seven years ago and it was life-altering; I continue to abstain from alcohol. The team approaches care with genuine compassion and professionalism, creating an environment where real healing can take place. I am lucky enough to still know many of the staff and peers that I initially met while in treatment and I remain engaged in the alumni program - building community has been key to maintaining sobriety.

Even though I’ve never been a client myself, I’ve had the privilege of working with their team for nearly 10 years—and I can confidently say they operate with a level of integrity, compassion, and professionalism that is rare in the rehab industry.
Ranch Creek Recovery is truly different. Their inpatient program is set in a private, luxury estate that provides a peaceful, dignified environment for healing. Other treatment centers claim to be luxury and cram dozens of people into a small home. The inpatient facility feels more like a resort or retreat than a clinical facility, which makes an incredible difference for clients who are going through the toughest periods of their lives.
What really sets them apart is their staff. This is a family owned and operated treatment center, and you feel that from the first interaction—warmth, genuine care, and a commitment to doing what’s right, not what’s profitable. Their small client-to-staff ratios mean every person receives personal attention, individualized treatment, and a level of support that larger, corporate-style rehabs simply can’t match.
In an industry where far too many centers focus on maximizing revenue, Ranch Creek Recovery stands out for doing the opposite: prioritizing people. I can say with complete confidence that they treat every client with dignity, compassion, and honesty. They are the definition of a high-quality, luxury, ethical drug & alcohol treatment center, and I’d recommend them without hesitation to anyone seeking real help.

Make sure you have an appointment for walk-in X-rays. I misunderstood and drove in for nothing. In the past I was told to use the walk-in for labs and didn't need an appointment. I confused the process.

The staff, nurses, and my doctor are all great — friendly and professional, but the wait times are way too long. Walk-ins for simple things like X-rays or glasses adjustments can take up to two hours, even though the actual service takes 10 minutes.
It’s a small clinic and seems understaffed, which might be the issue. I’ve seen people leave because they can’t wait that long. The place really needs an upgrade to improve wait times.

It's been truly amazing to witness her transformation & continued progression since joining.
What I love about Soul Surgery is that it has provided my Mom with a stable environment to live alcohol-free, receive support and training for sober living, and encourages her freedom in creating a fulfilled and joyful life.
She rides her bike every day around the city and nearby parks, chooses to meal prep her food weekly for health, enjoys fun hobbies, and is free to come and go as she pleases. She is vibrant, excited about life, and is consistently engaged in the training activities and group meetings that she attends daily.
I am happy that we are able to spend time together anytime on and offsite. It was great to get together on Memorials Day for swimming & family time. It is so nice to get to visit and talk on the phone and in person.
I am extremely grateful for Soul Surgery and the difference it is making for my Mom. I am looking forward to seeing her continue on her path of recovery and create everything she desires for her life. <3

With this facility transitioning to a hybrid sober living platform requiring the daily programming with the way it has been taught has been life changing to say the least, the opportunity my wife and I have been given to join this program I must say not only my life individually has been saved my marriage has been as well and that has not been a focus in fact my marriage saved is a most pleasant by product of my own and my wife's sobriety as individuals, while my wife and I are working this program as individuals our bond has grew in strength along with the connection we have which is growing daily, this in depth 12 step based program has taught me how to live differently in sobriety. With learning how to live differently in sobriety the freedom to come and go as we please along with the ability to work has been excellent to allow us to experience the outside world while still in a safe environment, with this being my first and only treatment that I've ever gone through it be extremely difficult to imagine any other program having the impact Soul Surgery has had on me if I was given a choice how I want to attain sobriety I would chose this place, I am forever thankful and greatful for having the opportunity for sobriety and learning how to use the tools from who I have learned them from.
Coach M I thank you for the opportunity and I'm grateful to learn how I am being taught.

Colton, CA | New Creation Addiction Treatment Center - McCarty House, located in Colton, California, is an alcohol and drug rehab center that provides addiction treatment to men and women seeking recovery. Their programs are | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Arlene touched a part of my life and my recovery that I didn’t even know needed healing. She treated me with a kind of respect, patience, and understanding that reminded me of the mother I never had. She didn’t judge me, didn’t talk down to me she spoke to me like someone who genuinely wanted to see me win.
Her words hit different. She helped me see women in a healthier, more respectful way. She made me look at life through a clearer lens. She carries so much wisdom and experience, and the way she shares it stays with you. She’s humble, real, and you can feel her heart in everything she does.
I truly admire her. I don’t ever want to let her down. She played a huge role in my sobriety, and I’ll carry the things she taught me for the rest of my life. Anyone who has the privilege of sitting with Arlene is going to walk away changed. She’s a blessing to McCarty House and a blessing to anyone lucky enough to know her.
Chadd — “The General” — made a real impact on me. He’s one of the few people I’ve met who doesn’t just talk recovery… he lives it. Every word he says comes from real experience, real struggles, and real growth. He’s humble, honest, and he treats everyone like equals. Talking to him feels like talking to someone who truly understands what you’re going through.
He never made me feel judged. Instead, he made me feel seen and heard. His wisdom hits deep because you know it’s coming from someone who’s walked the same road. If he ever wrote a book about his life, I swear it would inspire so many people.
McCarty House is stronger because of him. A lot of people find success there because of the way he shows up for others. I’m grateful I crossed paths with him during my recovery. He helped me more than he probably knows.
