I checked myself into Southwest behavioral services, and started my journey of healing from the things that I could not control and the things that I could.  my life was a hot mess from extreme childhood trauma .. addiction and heartbreak.. I sure as hell didn’t end the cycle and reached out for help

Walked in to see if I could make an appointment for a quick ear exam. Nice lady at the front desk messaged someone and told me to wait a minute. Nurse came out 5 minutes later and brought me back, looked at my ears, said I was good to go.
This my friends, is customer service at its best. My home VA is in WA, so technically they did not even have to see me, but did so as a courtesy. Grateful and now I don’t have to worry about my ear. Thank you!

A big shout out to WestCare! 5 stars all the way around. I used to receive services from them a few years ago, but today I took a friend to her appointment without knowing what to expect. The staff were incredibly compassionate and accommodating to her needs (she is disabled!). They made her feel welcomed, spoke to her with dignity, and got her into treatment right away. I was fortunately able to stay & heal at Meadows Ranch. My stay was in August 2018. I still had IOP & more, over a year, and today I don’t suffer the shame, fear, anger & hatred for a body that just wants to survive, with a mind that blinded by its needs & the overwhelming brainwashing of our commercialized society. While the directors are awful & there is an abusive 'trauma therapist' (she yelled at an 11-year-old to grow up) but this is the nicest inpatient I have been to. Consider the fact I was in multiple abusive inpatients that took attorneys to get out. Here we get to go outside and the doors are not locked. It doesn't feel like a hospital, just a big house. I have been able to process the trauma from this place & when I was re-united with my family after a year of treatment centers I finally healed. There are some bhc's that are amazing, while others are awful. Tina the therapist & the psychotherapist & the relaxation room therapist & tai chi instructor are amazing, kind people. Inpatient facilities are usually cold locked hospital floors. I loved sitting outside every morning, and I even got to swim with an NG tube. While I didnt make friends here I still had my happy moments along with my bad moments. also thank you to the kind nurses, they truely make a difference. I attended summer of 2023.

I was at the Meadows Ranch this past summer, June-July of 2023. I have only good things to say about the program. My experience was life changing. That being said, I was desperate to recover. I think that, more than anything, is why I had such a positive experience. I also participated in as many optional challenges as possible. I opted in for survivor's week and family week. Honestly family week changed the way my husband and I treat each other and helped us both understand what the other was experiencing. We both agree that it saved our marriage.

I was in residential for about 4 months in 2025. I came in very ill and untrusting. I was met with a warm, caring, hopeful team who met me with compassion and expertise. I was also heavily supported by leadership. My team met me where I was at and was willing to be patient with my progress and circumstances. It didn’t take me long to trust in my team and begin my treacherous journey toward recovery. My team fought for me to progress toward my goals prior to discharge, which meant so much. I’m in a much better place because of my journey at Rosewood. Some suggestions include more content/process heavy groups and better communication with aftercare providers. Also, continued trauma training for BHTs, nurses, clinical team etc. Special shout-out to Amanda, dietitian, for allowing me to find hope, guidance, compassion, and support in my sessions and advocating for me throughout my entire stay. My experience at Banyan was A+. I was so lost before coming to Banyan. I needed the extra help handling my addictions and I made the right choice coming here. They helped me get clean which was the first step. The staff was all wonderful during the progression of staying clean and helping me prepare to take on life again. I don’t know where I would be without Banyan. Thank you to all of the instructors, therapists, case managers, and BHT that supported me along this journey.

My experience at Banyan residential 30 day stay was an enlightening experience. I learned a lot about myself and the disease of my addiction. I have learned the tools to practice for further recovery. All and all its staff was very helpful and mindful for what struggles I was facing. Through therapy and group sessions made me feel at home. I recommend this place through my personal experience.

I was so scared asking for help and didn’t know where to go, but this place came highly recommended. The only bad thing is that the fact that I had to leave anybody looking to get help there is not a better place to go in here. the staff is absolutely incredible. I cried more just seeing how well I was treated here than even dealing with my issues. I cannot recommend this place enough if you want help come here.

I was here for a 10 day detox. Every staff member here was incredibly compassionate, and I feel that they went to great lengths to take care of their patients. I would highly recommend this place for detox. Part of me never wants to leave. All I can say is they are truly amazing people And I will miss them all.

The staff and provider here made my stay bearable and successful. Dr. Sierzenski, Samantha BHT, Derrick RN, Stephanie RN, Veronica BHT, Ingrid RN, Gabby BHT, Tanisha RN, and all of them! They were attentive, compassionate, helpful, professional, but most of all... they were kind to me when I was in a very dark place and a world of hurt.
