I highly recommend going here . The staff is friendly. They offer a lot of different groups . I've been to a few mental health places and hands down Southwest behavioral is the best place.

Been here a few times now and love the place. All the employees are amazing. Quick and easy to get in and very helpful with all my needs.

I went to Mohave Mental Health years ago, needless to say I had a horrible experience. I then started getting my mental health care at SW & they have been wonderful to work with & if I can't connect with a new therapist they don't take offense & help me find someone else. Recently I've been working with Dianna & Miles, both great people... with their help I can now be in a room with a man, way to go. I've been dealing with some stuff lately that has hit me hard & both of those I mentioned are busy today so a therapist new to this office gave me some of her time & I feel a bit calmer, thank you Esteban for not letting me leave.

Metcalf Recovery Ranch has taught me the skills in order to remain clean and sober. This program thoroughly educates their clients to recognize the coping skills, red flags, and triggers necessary to live the quality of life that most people in society aspire to.

Metcalf is a great place you either want it or you don t. I did and do and am doing good thanks to this place.

I'll be a 30 year grad coming up in mid December. I was admitted on suicide watch. I didn't care how much it cost, I planned on being dead. My case was a bit complicated and a diagnosis and treatment plan took 2 weeks. I needed to do a lot of work in a totally safe place with the best guidance and The Meadows provided that. My life since hasn't been great all the time but it's been good overall. The main thing is that I learned to have a life, my own life, at The Meadows. My discharge papers weren't very encouraging but even that helped. I knew I'd have to use every single thing I learned. And I did. And here it is 30 years later.I can't thank this place enough.

This place saved and changed my life. The meadows model works. The staff is amazing and the therapy is the best and most impactful I've ever experienced. If you're willing to do the work, this program can change your life.

My experience was what I needed however I left before the onion was completely peeled back. Fortunately, I was able to return back to MBH. I'm really bad at keeping in touch with people. The codependence, shyness, and other addictive behaviors have made me feel like I just don t fit in. I am working on that by getting to meetings on a regular basis. I really miss EVERYONE I met while there. I sincerely hope you all are well.

Great for connecting with a community + being grateful and mindful. The app itself is mediocre and could use improvements.

I've done both Survivors I and II. It answered the many concerns I wasn't getting addressed in my 38 years of 12th Step recovery.

I was first greeted and shown actual care by Vickie. She works at the front desk, and genuinely showed care and compassion when it came to getting my first appointment booked. She helped place me at a time that worked best for me and didn't stop until she was able to. Every time I've gone in, she's been so kind and friendly, always saying hello. Having someone like Vickie at the front desk who actually cares about the people going there is irreplaceable. I was placed with Shellby, who is an amazing and talented therapist. She radiates a safe space and immediately made me feel comfortable. Shellby has never seemed judgemental or demeaning with anything I've brought up, and is so knowledgeable in the things she says. I don't think I would ever be able to replace her. Thank you both.

I've been with Southwest Behavioral for a long time and although they have a lot of problems right now they're doing pretty good Shelby one of the counselors is the greatest counselor I think I've had I've been with her for quite a while and she's helped me a lot

South West has treated me real well. They have a lot of resources to help thier clients. The only problem I've had is the doctors with perscriptions.

This place is one of a kind, I thought I would never get over my ED but they had me achieve the impossible. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who is struggling and/or needs help.

I want to thank Rosewood for forever changing my life!! I have been to Rosewood two times now and entering any treatment is hard but they make it so welcoming. Even thru my very hard times Rosewood was always there for me , the staff are one of the best people I have EVER met , you could always tell that a lot of them wanted to be there not because they have to but because they want to and their support thru everything made it a lot easier to be there and I was supported very well Even if sometimes I pushed away. I felt like I was actually getting my life back from my Eating Disorder I use to not eat at all and at Rosewood I was able to make progress with my Eating Disorder and it wasn t easy but there was a team behind you , the techs were great people to talk with if having a hard time , the dietitian was really great at listening to my concerns and creating the best meal plan for me and making sure I am challenging myself. The groups were good if you show up and actually apply yourself my personal favorite was definitely DBT and community. They were very very good of reminding you that you are capable of being in control of your emotions and I had the hardest time with my emotions the second time around and I was given chance above chance and finally I was put on something that actually changed my life, I was back to the Asanda I know and I was proud of myself that I was able to work thru my emotions and continue to ask for help. I am so grateful for that one change and super grateful rosewood let me stay. Meals were pretty good and also challenging at times but you always had support from stuff and your peers. My personal fav was being able to pick out your own snacks. Music Dave was great I also loved that group. With the nurses I never really had problems with my meds and they were my favorite people ever , Rosewood has the best nurses right now who really care and want to help you the best way possible. I just loved seeing them smile and laugh it helped a lot when I was struggling. My favorite favorite nurse was Tina by far she was just AMAZING and very inspirational. Also the phlebotomist were also great.The therapy I received the first time was not great because it was online with someone who didn t work on campus but my second time I had the best best therapist and I worked on a lot and opened up and it s easier when the person is trustworthy and so I m grateful for the therapy side of it.My peers are my WORLD and living with them was not always easy it s hard when people leave and people come in it s definitely a lot of personality s but like I said they helped me thru so much and made my time at Rosewood so much easier and I plan on keeping in touch forever.Coming into Rosewood I already knew a bunch of skills it just was applying them that was hard but during my second time I had to explore that more and I found things I enjoy doing by myself or with peers.Rosewood is such a good good community and I have never felt so supported at a facility, everyone made me feel oh so loved and I was glad I was the funny one to them. Eating disorders are hard but being at Rosewood I found peace in myself that I have never felt before and I m so grateful to have been supported by such an amazing program. 72 hour forms are not worth it but treatment and no matter how much I wanted to leave sometimes I m glad I didn t. I will forever remember rosewood.Some things that I would have liked the be better especially the second time around is staff showing up for groups it was hard on us when they didn t.Better controlling chaosBetter communication between the techs and the nursesAnd there was some inappropriate conversations from staff towards patientsBut other than that bravo Rosewood!!I want to thank EVERYONE trulyAnd I want to thank Tina , Trinity , Amy , Brandy ,Vanessa ,lexy, Stephanie for helping me the most. I was a patient at Rosewood Ranch back in 2007 & at that time, I had already spent time at multiple other treatment centers. I've found Rosewood Ranch to be the best place for me personally because during the time I spent there, the staff were kind & understanding. The food was healthy & delicious. I hope they're still doing good & helping people recover. Rosewood was truly the only treatment center that I've been to that actually helped me. At the time I was discharged, I think they were in the process of building a gym for us so that we can gain muscle weight instead of just regular weight.Personally, fitness has always been very helpful in my recovery. I was fortunately able to stay & heal at Meadows Ranch. My stay was in August 2018. I still had IOP & more, over a year, and today I don t suffer the shame, fear, anger & hatred for a body that just wants to survive, with a mind that blinded by its needs & the overwhelming brainwashing of our commercialized society. It took MR, to break the lock my past had keeping me under the delusion. I think of my experiences there often. They saved my life. A life that had been anguish, now nearly peaceful & even sometimes happy.

While the directors are awful & there is an abusive 'trauma therapist' (she yelled at an 11-year-old to grow up) but this is the nicest inpatient I have been to. Consider the fact I was in multiple abusive inpatients that took attorneys to get out. Here we get to go outside and the doors are not locked. It doesn't feel like a hospital, just a big house. I have been able to process the trauma from this place & when I was re-united with my family after a year of treatment centers I finally healed. There are some bhc's that are amazing, while others are awful. Tina the therapist & the psychotherapist & the relaxation room therapist & tai chi instructor are amazing, kind people. Inpatient facilities are usually cold locked hospital floors. I loved sitting outside every morning, and I even got to swim with an NG tube. While I didnt make friends here I still had my happy moments along with my bad moments. also thank you to the kind nurses, they truely make a difference. I attended summer of 2023.

I was at the Meadows Ranch this past summer, June-July of 2023. I have only good things to say about the program. My experience was life changing. That being said, I was desperate to recover. I think that, more than anything, is why I had such a positive experience. I also participated in as many optional challenges as possible. I opted in for survivor's week and family week. Honestly family week changed the way my husband and I treat each other and helped us both understand what the other was experiencing. We both agree that it saved our marriage.

My daughter just completed her 45 days at the Claudia Black Center and it was a life changing experience for her and the family. The treatment team's priority was my daughter's well being and that message was clear when hard conversations were had with her and with us as her parents. The family work was invaluable. They don't tell you what you want to hear they tell you what you need to hear. Not everyone can handle that and it wasn't always easy but it was worth it. Trust the process.

well I was here and then later five years later Cerritos college hospital Claudia Black treatment center again for two months and it was only a one month program I did it twice in a row because I knew that I needed it. It helped me a great deal however I did not take their advice and run from my family as fast as I can as soon as I got back and never look back. If I had followed their advice I would've had a 10 times better life with less trauma and abuse from my own family. I love their treatment center you get what you put in and you need to be paying attention and learning it's not party time there. The drama therapy I believe is stupid and self inflicted trauma I don't believe reliving trauma is good for anybody but the rest of the program and learning about the roles that you play in your family and how that shaped you into the person you are now and what you can do to have a better life it's all smart, good stuff and worth learning. love to claudia black. I have a signed copy of it's never too late to have a happy childhood still with the other Ip in the program having signed every page with beautiful things to say. Too bad none of those phone numbers are any good anymore or I would be calling them now over 20yrs later. all good people. when Hospital staff repeatedly tell you that the only way you're going to have a decent life is to break ties with your family and never look back, you should listen. it's true.

I believe that treatment is in accordance to the subject being treated, (CBC can take you to the stream, but they can't make you drink). Some feel they received their treatment, that warrants recognition. I spent 40 days here, met some great people, and learnt to focus on what empowers me. I am leaving this review to counteract the nasty reviews. my time at CBC was a great experience for me.
