I am grateful, happy, and hopeful. Before I arrived at Ardu' I was lost in pain and self destruction. From day one I felt recognized not just as a patient but as a person. Ardu's compassionate care, expert guidance and support helped me demonstrate what true healing looks like. Ardu' possesses a spiritual aspect that I will never forget. The Ardu' staff was professional, kind, and compassionate. The meals compared to a five star restaurant, and the classes were engaging and motivational. I recommend the intensive outpatient afterwards, it was also a blessing. Thank you Ardu'! "Rise up"

New roads is an amazing program. I received so much help & healing Even just in the few months I attended IOP there. More so than I was ever able to obtain at any of my other programs. My therapist was absolutely amazing, and they all worked extremely hard to make sure I had everything I needed. The Dr's and all the staff are very kind and knowledgeable. They genuinely want to help people who are struggling. It's a different kind of program in its very own special way and I greatly recommend it to anyone struggling. The staff is great about helping you navigate your way so you are able to receive the most beneficial treatment for yourself. I encourage you not to hesitate to call. That phone call may be all that's standing between you & a healthy, happy future. Beth Sherman

My LO never had the opportunity to receive treatment here, but I can't say enough good things about Natalia who works at intake. My son was arrested due to his mental illness. In a frustrating system, Natalia was a shining light who worked hard to help my son get treatment instead of prison. She wrote multiple letters to the judge, New Roads came out and did assessments and validated my questions and concerns. If the actual facility listens and cares like she did, I am sure the place would be amazing. It came highly recommended to me from various parents whose loved one's were able to recover, thanks to New Roads. I truly wish my son could have received the help that he needs from a place like this. Unfortunately, our country still has a long way to go in the criminalization of those suffering with a serious mental illness. Thanks New Roads for all that you tried to do and especially Natalia.

I get my medicine & talk to my counselor once a week. I also take random UA's. Far as I can tell most everything is bout same as it was after Project & Wasatch combined what not. Oh if I get complaints, I'll share them on here. You can count on it. You can do it, you're worth it. We all have a choice no matter how deep we get. I know sobriety is slow going, especially when you're accustomed to that immediate gradification. It's worth it though. OMFG is it ever. Just keep on keeping on. Sometimes one minute or even one second at a time. I'm starting to legit build my happily ever after. Long way from thinking I was gonna die & not caring. I got my son back. It's amazing how good things get when you're living right. When I was using & focused or dark stuff that's what I got. So happy to be on the other side of the spectrum now. One thing that has me less than happy lately is that I seem to be stuck carry wise which is BS as I've had nothing but clean UA's for like a year. Utah County doesn't have many options though for low income folks. If you go to a pay place you're definitely treated better. Heck with it though. Who wants to stay on methadone forever any damn way lol.

This is the best treatment center in Utah in my opinion they have totally saved my life and the therapist there will really fight for you.I've never felt so cared for and loved it's amazing the nurses are amazing the counselors everybody on the staff is so awesome I feel so welcome inn at home and really they make it not all about the medication you receive it's about the treatment. I have learned so much about myself. I've been to several other methadone clinics and I've never made so much progress as here. The doctors here are amazing too and they really understand. If you are at all considering trying to get your life together and trying to get off heroin, make an appointment and follow through with it these people will change your life. What I noticed very first because my husband and I walked down here out of desperation at 5 in the morning when we came is that everyone was pulling up in nice cars on their way to work and they all looked really happy and it was a time when me and my husband were really really bad addicted to heroin and meth and I realize these are the kind of people I want to surround myself with I totally turned my life around and just a matter of a few months! I got back my driver's license I completed treatment I'm doing wonderful on my ap&p they have totally saved my life Project Reality is the best place in Utah for treatment don't wait!!

Utah State Hospital in Provo, Utah, is a psychiatric hospital operated by the State of Utah. This hospital accepts referrals from the local health authorities and the justice system. If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would. I was a patient at the Utah State Hospital, and I was there for 1 year. I have been out for almost 6 months, and have took time to reflect before writing my review to really soak in my experience and this is what I think. While there are many negative thinks I could say about this place, this hospital truly made my life worth living. The Utah State Hospital isn’t meant to be an easy experience, you are meant to be put in a place to challenge yourself, which will cause outbursts, setbacks, relapses, drama, and more, and sadly this is all apart of recovery. But I am lucky to have had all of these setbacks in a safe, secure environment such as the Utah State Hospital, surrounded by staff who at the end of the day care about you and have one ultimate goal, to keep YOU safe. Even if that means resorting to restraints or time to refocus that may cause distress in the moment because top priority is safety, and while that can feel neglecting and like the world is ending, it isn’t. It is actually the best interest for everyone. Because while staff have to focus on safety of the patients they also have to think of safety for themselves. We often think we know what’s best for ourselves but when we are in a state where we can’t make stable decisions we don’t always know what’s best for us. So the hospital has a carefully curated team of staff to manage meds, treatment , food, etc so you can succeed. The Utah State Hospital can be a helpful, therapeutic treatment if you use it to your full potential and keep going when things get hard. There will be times you wish you never went here, and times you hate the staff, but it will all be worth it at the end. The relief and self control you can gain. You can have fun at the Utah State Hospital but within the rules, and breaking the rules comes with consequences so privileges can be taken away, and that is not to punish but to help you learn for the future. Don’t expect fantastic food here, but it is still good and nutritious. I strongly suggest if you are going here to let your experience be yours and don’t let others opinions influence your stay, because you can let your stay be worth while if you choose too. To sum things up, Go into the Utah State Hospital with a fresh mindset, be open to change and growth. Be prepared for challenges and embrace them. Don’t expect perfection. And if my therapist, or treatment team is reading this thank you for helping me be the person I am today.

This is hands down the best mental hospital in Utah. I was rarely ever bored, they have a TV with a Netflix and Disney Plus, and library for anyone, even those stuck on unit level. (And yes, they do have quite the manga selection, and movies you can rent, and podcasts/audio things you can put into your headphones. You can even learn Spanish in your headphones! Trust me: if you're bored, it's often your own fault.) They have so many activities, and as you level up, you can attend more activities. Dr. Roundy was the best doctor I've ever had. He got me on a medication that WORKS for the first time in my life, I have a medication that works. All the one star reviews: it could be possible they didn't follow the rules. Follow the unit and campus rules and while I cannot promise a swift discharge, your stay at the hospital will be a lot easier, and maybe even fun. (I had fun.) Although, yes, I have to say that there are days that you just want out... And sometimes patients (and staff) can make your life hard. I shouldn't sugar-coat it.

I attended Provo Canyon School For Boys in 1977 for one year. Like John G, in the reviews, I too was on the wrong track. Jack the owner was a pompous jack ass but the school and for the most part the teachers and councilors were doing their best. Most graduates of BYU and Mormons. As a 16 year old with no clear idea of life and definitely any idea of what or how to move forward and be a productive person. The school taught me how to set goals and gave me the confidence to take control of my life and learn that I could be productive and enjoy life by developing self discipline and how important and rewarding life could and should be. Nothing is perfect and I had my reservations at times especially with Jack but I learned how to deal with it and by being in a structured environment I grew up and became a more productive and responsible adult. Thank you mom and dad for loving me and I am thankful for the opportunity of being privileged to go here and finding myself. I hope and pray other boys will have the same benefit I did. Provo taught me how to set goals and above all else, like myself and develop a positive self concept. Get the best from opportunities, you weren't doing anything else anyway. :)

I was at PCS in 1982-83. I was a troubled youth growing up in Chicago. I was 12 yrs old when I started going south with my life, substances, liquor, criminal activity and such. Did a stint in juvy for armed robbery and it just kept getting worse due to my choices in my life at that time. I have good parents and siblings but somehow I was just not making the grade in life. At 16 I was sent to PCS. Wasn't to thrilled about being locked up with a bunch of dudes from all over the country. Long story short, My grades went from F's to A's, the teachers there were great. The class sizes were much smaller than the public schools in Chicago, the teachers here gave a d##. My therapist even let me come into his home for Christmas once I got to the level 3&4 in the program. Staff took me out of there to hang out with them at BYU activities. So I learned that I was an ok young man, people did like me I wasn't as bad as I thought I was. I took my SAT,s there and got accepted at USU in Logan,UT. Point is it did stink alot of the time, I missed my family, but I learned self discipline and another (better) way of living. I'm still alive at 58 yrs old. If I didn't come here I would have died before I turned 18, either from violence, drugs or liquor. I look back now and I thank God for that part of my life.you get out of it what you put into it.

Deeply concerned with this facility’s lack of evidence-based addiction practices. My 20-year-old son is in active fentanyl dependence and was discharged for vaping — a predictable withdrawal-driven behavior. Instead of providing clinical intervention, harm-reduction, or behavioral redirection, they defaulted to punitive removal. This approach is outdated and clinically unsafe. Any program treating opioid- or fentanyl-dependent clients should understand dysregulation, cross-addiction behaviors, and the importance of continuity of care. Parents seeking modern, trauma-informed treatment should look elsewhere. Unacceptable guys. This type of recourse is exactly what adds to the number of overdoses.

The doctor put me on a seizure medication and now they won’t refill it even though they said they were going to. I’ve reached out multiple times and told them and emailed the docs and they just ignore me. So I’m going cold turkey off of a seizure medication while I try to find another doctor. I wouldn’t even call this place a rehab program, they have 1 class a day if that and most time the classes are just a check in group that does nothing for the person needing therapy. The therapist and case managers are so stretched out between houses they are hardly at the first house you go to. Even when they are at the house they have no information for you when it comes to therapy or the program in general. You can’t even start the program until you get sent to a different house. So, you are just sitting in limbo waiting for placement at another house. Which can take anywhere from a day up to 3 weeks. While you’re waiting you have nothing to do, you sit in the front waiting room or outside on your phone doing nothing. So far this place is a far cry away from a rehabilitation program in my opinion

I want to take a moment to highly recommend Chateau for any first responder or veteran who may be struggling and in need of inpatient support. My experience there was truly life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The staff went above and beyond to create an environment that was compassionate, professional, and focused on healing. Every member of the team — from the counselors to the support staff — treated me with respect and understanding. They took the time to listen, to guide me through difficult moments, and to help me find practical tools to manage my challenges. The treatment programs were well-structured and personalized, addressing not just the symptoms but the underlying issues as well. The staff and therapists humanized my experience from day one, providing a safe and supportive space where I could begin to rediscover my whole self. Through multiple modalities, I was able to process and begin healing from both deep-rooted and secondary traumas—some of which I had carried for far too long in silence. What sets Chateau apart is their unwavering support even after treatment ends. Their commitment to alumni care reminds us we’re never walking this road alone. I’ve continued to grow, and while I still face struggles, the ongoing alumni meetings, reunion, and check-ins have helped me feel held and connected. There’s a true family and community feel that stays with you. I even had the chance to visit the beautiful new facility—and walking through those doors felt like coming home. What other treatment center invites you back with open arms, long after you’ve completed the program? Because of Chateau, I am more than confident in saying: I will finally be able to live the life I truly deserve. 💪🙌

I truly owe my life to Chateau! I have been to Chateau twice after severely struggling and ended up spending almost three months total there. I was very anxious not being a first responder or veteran and much younger than many of those there. The second I walked through the front door, I felt safe. Clients and staff didn’t not care that I was neither of those things. Through the help of Chateau, I found the motivation and will to stay alive and sober. I started to discover my authentic self and be happy with who I was. Chateau helped me in so many ways and will never be able to express the amount of gratitude I have for the facility, staff and clients. They are accommodating to all needs and are truly there to help you become better. I highly recommend this amazing place to anyone who is struggling!

I came to Deer Hollow carrying years of unresolved trauma and symptoms that had taken over my life. I had tried therapy before, but nothing reached the root of what I was dealing with until I walked through their doors. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe, grounded, and understood in a way I hadn’t experienced anywhere else. Residential treatment was intense, structured, and emotionally heavy at times — but it was also exactly what I needed. The trauma-focused work, especially IFS, helped me understand why I reacted the way I did, where my patterns came from, and how to work with the parts of myself that had been stuck for so long. The therapists were incredibly skilled, patient, and compassionate. They didn’t just teach me tools; they helped me truly heal. Moving through the step-down levels of care gave me time and support to practice what I was learning while still having a clinical team behind me. Each phase built on the one before it, and for the first time, I felt real change happening — not temporary relief, but deep, foundational healing. Deer Hollow didn’t just help me manage my trauma; they helped me reclaim my life. I’m grateful every day that I made the decision to go.

Despite my difficulties and frustrations deep diving into my past traumas, while utilizing the different modalities offered at DH; I did the strenuous work to process and find my path to peace again. Investing in myself has been the greatest gift. DH’s Therapists, medical staff, chefs, and techs were genuinely committed to helping me through my processing. Thank you very much for your support and continued assistance on my trajectory finding happiness and joy again. Let it be known, RNs need nurturing too; this is a special place to find it. When you are serious about recovery come to Deer Hollow. It will not be easy, but it will be worth it. I am a Paramedic that came up in the time of “stuff those emotions down”, I’m here to tell you that does not work. They come back with a vengeance and hopefully you don’t take your own life before you get help. Give Deer Hollow a chance, The staff is top notch and they have been through similar stuff and achieved Victory. You will be with peers going through the same stuff, no matter what their background we are more alike than different. I thank the people of Deer Hollow for saving my life. Don’t believe the lie that you are telling yourself, “that I’m not hurting anyone else” there are people in your life that love you and want to help.

❤️ This is the absolute best treatment program around! I actually enjoyed attending my group meetings. I love everyone who works there. I have been an addict for a very long time and this place has kept me sober. I graduated about six months ago, and I have remained sober. I highly recommend coming here. You won’t regret it. ❤️

So far I have been attending Pomarri Treatment center for about a month at the Orem location. From silver creek to the Pomarri treatment this place is my “saving grace” . Every single person from what I can see really cares about each and every single client that walks through that door. I have been to a handful of treatments throughout my addiction and by far this one is the best. I literally look forward to coming to group!!! In a month I have learned so many crucial and valuable skills already, from coping skills, DBT skills and really life skills . I’m excited to see what the rest of my journey will be here but one thing is for sure if you are looking for a treatment that’s different from the traditional treatments that takes medicaid then give Pomarri a shot !!

For almost two years, the respiratory team cared for my adult stepson who was unable to move voluntarily or communicate with us except through his involuntary expressions, as a result of s serious TBI. The staff opersted under the assumption he could hear and understand him. I have cherished memories of RT Ginger joking with him and getting.a rare smile in return, of Andrea singing her ranchera songs to him, and of PT Heather looking straight into his eyes as my stepson responded to her prompts—amazing. The CNA staff was incredibly devoted. Each staff member shared some aspect of themselves, and I believe that helped our son feel seen and loved. Our beloved son and brother has since passed away, but it gave us tremendous comfort to know that when we could not be there, the St, Joe’s staff would be looking after him.

Worst place ever. Would not do anything for my dad unless I was there helping them when I asked for a partial refund for having to do their work. The business manager would never return my calls months and months not once and never available never answers their phone. They wouldn’t bath him. They wouldn’t get him up out of his bed. Lost his clothes when I was doing the laundry, nurses and Cna too busy visiting to help with any care, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I did transfer my dad and he did much better. He was up and out of his bed eating better. Clean every time I went to see him.

Terrible billing system. I would give 0 stars if possible. They sent me a bill for 900$ when asked to clarify, it turned out fully covered by my insurance. This is a type of fraud. NOT ONLY did this happen to me but also my husband with a bill for 300$ for an appointment that never happened and after contacting them 4 separate times I was ignored repeatedly. AGAIN FRAUD. If you want a place that actually cares about you, takes concerns seriously and doesn't try to take your money, this is not the place.

I recently had a surgical procedure at the surgical center within Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I arrived, the entire staff made me feel like I was their top priority. They were incredibly personable, taking the time to chat with me, answer all my questions, and ease any pre-surgery nerves with genuine warmth and kindness. What stood out most was how caring and attentive everyone was—nurses checked in frequently, ensuring I was comfortable every step of the way, and the doctors and support team explained everything clearly without rushing. The process was remarkably fast and efficient, yet never felt hurried; everything ran smoothly from check-in to recovery. Their professionalism was top-notch, with state-of-the-art facilities and a team that clearly knows what they're doing. In a world where healthcare can sometimes feel impersonal, Mountain View truly lives up to its commitment to treating patients like family. I left feeling well taken care of and recovered quickly thanks to their expertise. If you're in the Payson area and need surgical care, this is the place to go—I highly recommend it without any hesitation! Thank you to the amazing team for making a stressful day so positive. Dr. Anderson is an amazing doctor and work extra hard getting my insurance to approve my nerve stimulater battery replacement and I also want to give a big shout-out to Samantha Bates his office coordinator she a was a huge help in getting this procedure across the finish line. Thank you so much. Marry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Steps was the first place I've ever gone to treatment and it was well worth it, so far it's saved my relationship with my wife, my family and myself. The staff is extremely kind and caring and just wants to help however in order for them to do so you have to be 110% open and willing to put in the work yourself. If your looking into treatment this may help you so you know what your going into and what you can bring. Blankets and pillows from home. You can vape and smoke (don't flush vapes down the toilet or you'll lose your privileges for everyone it almost happened). You can have food and candy (no energy drinks). Family nights every other week on Tuesdays. Black out period is 5 days (no phone calls). Very scheduled, you'll be going from 8am to 8pm every day but it passes time quickly. Just a few things that made my time easier, so if your looking into becoming a better you, this is the place to start.
