Hi everybody! I am a current resident at Samaritan village's inpatient and methadone facility and I think they have a wonderful program! I have been to many programs and this is by far the best. In their residential program, you have access you methadone maintainence although it is not required, you receive your psychiatric medications and have an on premises psychiatrist and primary care Dr although you may see your own. I see theirs and they are wonderful. They do not chastise you if your on a controlled psychiatric medications, it is considered and often allowed if you have a diagnosed. They offer both methadone and Suboxone and the clinic in the Richmond Hill facility has their methadone clinic right downstairs so you can dose upon waking up. The staff is caring and professional, and the community is caring as well. Well that's about all I have to say! If you are struggling with substance abuse and looking to change your life, look no further! This place is 5* and fully covered by almost all insurance as far as I know! I have Medicaid and they cover my services here God bless you all!

I have nothing bad to say about this program. I have been clean and sober for many years now, and from my experience " it works 💪 if you work it" I have an amazing counselor who is am very comfortable talking to. You does this job cause she cares. I really like the nurses, they're very kind and always greet me with a friendly smile. Even the security guards, and the janitor are super cool and friendly. I would recommend this program to anyone who is ready to get clean. You come handle your business in the program, and you " bounce" Go home, you nevermind what anybody else is doing. You worry about yourself, your sobriety!

It's works because I made it and continue to make it work for me......I do and did what I needed to do, which is to fight hard for myself and my sobrity... It is not easy.....Especially when you stand up and fight in an honorable way, because something I strongly believe was done in poor jugement towards me... Not intentionally, I want to believe that of a specific staff member.....Yet the way I was treated by two top head staff members and the counselor involved in the incident became a personal vendetta against me that I had to contact my two family members in OASAS to help me solve the problem off the books....After the unofficial help I received from OASIS THE VENDETTA TOWARDD ME COUNTINED FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS AFTER....With this staff member physically looking into every group I attended and telling the Director to discouraged me by taking every groupI attended away which lead the facilitator of the groups aware of the vendetta against me and my other peer....Unfortunately I don't attend any groups at the clinic so that I could avoid bringing problems to other staff members...I do have other great outside group where I attend 3 x a week......I have been sober for 5 yrs and will remain Sober for today....🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻🤎

I’m shocked at how crowded this hospital is. They handle over 1 million emergency visits a year and my grandparents have both been here. Yes it’s crowded and sometimes rowdy but they do what they can with the limited space they have. The doctors, nurses and staff are patient and kind. If I was on the board there, I would try to make 50 more beds. It’s hard since it’s a triangular layout.
