Lund helped my husband and I find the greatest gift in life and that was a child, a precious little girl who is now 22 and has started the process of adopting her first foster son. Lund didn’t stop caring about our family after the adoption was final. Wanda has been part of our lives in one way or another. She was here for my daughter when she needed references for work, she was here when she started Fostering and the babies were reunited with their birth families. First, I see the same guy gave a 5-star, then later 1-star review. As a place that deals with addicts, by nature those who don’t follow the rules is gonna be angry. Not saying that’s what happened, but it makes sense.
Anyway, best place around. I had the best counselor for years here and my doctor now works here, Dr. White, and she is AMAZING. Her entire staff is great. I can’t say enough good things. Love you guys, thanks for teaching me how to live.

I can’t say enough good things about RBH!! I showed up in October 2016 spiritual bankrupt Not happy to be there. Slowly but surely the staff and camaraderie between the residence help show me a a whole new way of life. Helped show me a new way of thinking an a whole new way of looking at the world. Gave me a solid foundation in the sober community in the lakes region which is where I still live today. I still feel very much part of the RBH community. I still have a lot solid friendships thanks to RBH and I love seeing the guys around town and at meetings. Lotta good memories!! Riverbank house definitely helped push my life in a positive direction and I’ll ever be grateful.

The experience I had at the Riverbank House changed my life forever in so many ways. I arrived at RBH in February 2016 and begrudgingly agreed to stay for 28 days, I ended up living there for almost 4 years because I just didn’t want to leave. The bonds and friendships I formed there still continue to this day. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity at a new life, and how to truly enjoy that life, that was provided to me by the Riverbank. My time at RBH was filled with compassion and laughter and memories I will always cherish. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, but going to the Riverbank was certainly not one of them. I am grateful for every single me ever of the Riverbank brotherhood that I got to know during my time there, even that guy with the red beard.

hi!! i'm 16 years old and spent 4 months at cedc concord. i know my parents were terrified to send me somewhere but when it came to the point where there wasn't a choice, i am so grateful that cedc is where i ended up. i can't put into words how much it helped me. it genuinely felt like a safe environment with the staff, clients, group rooms, and kitchens. none of me thought recovery was possible, all of me had accepted that my ed was my fate. cedc saved me, my family, and gave me a future. everyone was so patient and kind during a beyond distressing time. the meal counselor would sit with me as i cried and talk about taylor swift to distract me. despite the hell we were all going through we laughed so much and had actual fun and i made friends i know i'll always have. i cried probably everyday i was there, but on my last day it wasn't because of my ed. it was because i was going to miss these people (both the staff and other clients included) i had come to love so much. no matter what people tell you full recovery is possible and after going to cedc i have hope that i'll reach it eventually. i can't recommend this program enough. <3

I give CEDC a five star rating. But don't make the mistake of thinking that you will be happy when a family member goes there. When you go through the treatment process, you will be alone, confused, helpless, frustrated and unhappy. However, what you need to know is that these difficulties are part of recovery. One of the best days in your son's or daugter's life may be the day you enroll him or her in the residential treatment program at CEDC.

Went march-april of 2019 fresh out of 6 month jail bid. Couldn't ask for a better group of people all around. I was genuinely accepted and treated with dignity by both residents and staff. 28 days flew by and I was reminded of how |enjoyable life can still be even if you are sober. They let us smoke cigarettes on the patio outside and the food was outstanding and many times restaurant quality. I'll always have fond memories of this place. I can only hope that those that I met there are winning their battle with addiction or at the very least not giving up. They were all good souls that deserve happiness just as much as anyone else.

Was patient there in 2016/17. Counselors were great. People tend to forget they are only there to give you the tools and knowledge to succeed . You as an adult has to want to change your life around. Surrender plays a big part in that. Mike and Garry were great. The staff may have changed over the years from when it was a Father Young place but the concept is the same. Good luck to you all
