If you are coming off fentanyl and you DON'T come here, you are a fool. This was absolutely painless. They Make it that way on purpose. For the first 4 days you feel absolutely nothing....and I mean nothing! After that it's a cake walk.....,I promise!!

I have been using Sea mar clinic for several years now for all of my family health needs. The doctors are respectful, courteous and attentive. Not once have I ever had to push the issue of good quality care. Also when placing my prescription refills I have always received them in a timely fashion and have never had to wait for days or even weeks for the prescription to be fill.

I have been going to Sea-Mar since 2018. My Dr. Is Brenda Grant. She is amazing, I moved almost 2 hrs away and drive to Aberdeen because I love her so much. I’ve been going here and seeing the same therapist and medicine lady since October of 2022 when I moved to the area. They have bent over backwards to help me in this office. I do not understand any of the negative reviews. I’ve gotten more help from Eugenia Aberdeen than I have at any other therapist in 43 years of therapy.

The Center was a godsend and completely helped my wife get the tools she needed to work on her depression. She is back to her old self with the joy and confidence that are her trademarks. She was in a dark dark place for many years. She specifically credits the staff and the DBT classses at The Center. She also did a sleep study and several nutrition classes that made a big difference for her. I would recommend The Center for depression (ands anxiety) treatment). They seem to have a very good reputation in these areas and my wife was extremely pleased with her treatment.

Our son went to The Center in a very dark place. We all felt it was his last chance to get "well". Severe depression, drugs and anxiety attacks has sapped any remaining hope from him. Frankly we were both desperate and skeptical that anything could work. But we read everything about The Center and watched what seemed like 100 personal testimonies from previous clients. We called and spoke with admissions and they were wonderful. They answered all our questions and were very warm and professional.
My son did go to The Center and all I can say is we have our son back. His turnaround was simply amazing. It was hard work. At first he did not want to be there. But the staff was so supporting and really made him feel like he could do it. The individual sessions and the group sessions made a big impact on him, as did the DBT classes. He has made friends for a lifetime and can't imagine being in the place he was just a few months ago. I highly recommend The Center for anyone needing help.

I checked into FBTS on September 22nd 2025, lost, confused, and terrified. It was the best decision I have ever made, a choice that undoubtedly saved my life. Over the last 3 months I have made connections that will last me a lifetime time, made friends i will never forget. This program, these staff members, these classes are a miracle you get to witness. Every single staff member is an angel who genuinely and truly cares about you and your recovery, the kitchen staff make excellent food that keeps you nourished and ready to take on your day, even the cleaning staff care about you and your life. When I was lost and had no hope. When my world was torn upside down and had no idea where to even begin. By the grace of the universe I was referred to Free by the Sea by a friend. I called them and was met with compassion and understanding. They guided me through the intake process and for the first time in a long time I felt heard. I felt seen. I completed their 30 day residential program and stayed longer for their IOP program and they literally saved my life. The staff and activities, the classes and their content, was exactly what I needed to get my life back on track. I found peace and safety. They fostered a place for me to fight my addiction and heal my heart. This was my launchpad to kickstart my life again after the darkness. From the clinical director, the counselors, the staff, the kitchen and cleaning staff, the owners themselves, and the medical teams. The admissions staff, the group fellowship, the nature, the ocean, the entirety of Free by the Sea has been a game changer. This place has been amazing for my son and his recovery! Everyone on the staff is very supportive, from the medical staff, therapists, and everyone else. These people really care and are giving the patients the tools to succeed! My son says the food is nothing short of delicious and everyone is like family. Northpoint was an amazing experience for me. The staff are all great, we got our phones a couple times a week, and visitors every weekend. This place was amazing, energy from this place is something I cannot explain, it is just so peaceful and calming. Even my visitors felt this and wouldn't want to leave. The counselors and support staff make such a wonderful sense of community, most of which are recovering addicts themselves and do not act as if they are any better than the patients. I came in completely broken, unable to leave the house for years, couldnt walk from a bad back and lack of exercise. They healed me emotionally, physically, spiritually to a point that I could have never hoped for in my wildest dreams. I'm not the same broken man I was walking in. I have hope, mobility, sobriety, tools and knowledge to remain sober and so many new life long friends. Olalla will always have a special place in my heart.

So upset this treatment center is closing!! Typical corporate decision. I am alive today because of their treatment. Clean & sober for 15 years with no desire to drink, do drugs, and/or binging on both. The comments from the new owners were disrespectful and ignorant about the process. Treatment is not easy in any program, but if it saves lives why end it. Shame on you Universal Healthcare! Many lives will be lost by closing this hospital.

Awakenings By The Sea is exactly where I needed to be to be able to grasp the concept of true sobriety. From the minute I walked through the doors it was evident to me that this was a place that served those suffering from addiction. The staff are truly dedicated and I believe "called" to spread the message and help to others. The work was hard but sharing it with other women and recognizing their honesty, strength and willingness made it possible for me to do the work and do it with complete honesty. The AA meeting every morning at the Little Yellow House, Von and Shannon's delicious meals, the beach walks, gym time, bowling and movie time----were just what was needed to help in the beginning of healing. Jean who kept our home so clean and tidy and her wonderful sense of humor and stories.The counselors, nurses, admin., etc. are dedicated to each and every woman who comes through the doors. I am forever grateful for the gift of being able to walk through the doors and be a part of this blessed place. I look forward to seeing my Awakening Sisters in the future. I have been given the tools and healing time I was desperately in need of and I cannot thank them enough.

I strongly recommend Awakenings by the Sea for women’s only inpatient treatment! I went through the program about a year ago and miss it so much! It was a very formative part of my recovery and paved the way to successful sobriety. I wasn’t sure I would like it and there was a small conflict that arose between me and one of the staff members while I was there, but ultimately it all made me stronger. Tabitha is a no nonsense counselor, and she is great at finding potential cracks in your plan for sobriety and offering practical suggestions to surpass obstacles. The extracurricular activities are a big bonus… Like leisurely walks on the beach, weekend outings, in-house yoga and visits to the local gym. Patients also get to attend daily meetings at the Little Yellow House in Seaside, which is a world famous AA center. The community I found at Awakenings has stuck by my side and seen me through the good and the bad. I miss the routines, the dedicated staff, the other women, the powerfully moving group sessions, and the around the clock support for my sobriety. I haven’t needed to go back, but if I did, I would definitely choose Awakenings by the Sea for my recovery journey! 🌊💜💯

Royal Life at Sound Recovery helped me reset. I was deep into party culture at school and honestly lost track of who I was. Their IOP was short and intense which worked great with my college schedule. Group therapy felt real and not judgy. I wish they had more young adult-focused stuff but I still found people I clicked with. Really grateful I went.

My experience with the health board has always been beneficial in whatever I'm in need of. From DV council to treatment concerns, general health to help with housing concerns. This last visit was to see the dentist and again, the service from making a appointment, to actually being seen was absolutely attentive to all my needs. I was put on a stand by list so, if there was a cancellation, I was offered a earlier appointment!! So I was seen way earlier than I was going to be seen, and I'm not exaggerating the procedure filling a cavity I had was literally almost painless I felt a tiny prick and that was it. Hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. I also had my teeth cleaned and that was a very pleasant experience also. Everyone on the team is in good communication with each other so, you don't get the right hand doesn't know what the Left hand is doing run around. And the whole vibe was just professional and kinda laid back. So you can relax and trust your in a professional caring environment. It's excellent for family from kids to seniors. Now the location is definitely urban with urban issues. but, I've never had a problem getting to my appointments and, I take public transportation.
However there is parking onsite also. All in all just a wonderful place.

I am reading the reviews below and wanted to share my experience. I was at the Clearing in September and had a powerful and transformational experience. We had a group of 8 and I remain in contact with most of my group. I attended for help with lifelong anxiety and panic spirals, and found the counselors to be compassionate, intuitive and very skilled. I would definitely recommend this program. My brain feels like it has been re-wired and I feel more balanced, grounded and at peace than I have in my whole life. Very grateful for the Clearing.

If you are thinking, "I've already been to a treatment center, what makes this different", or "It will never work, my problems are different and I'll never be 'fixed'", I can tell you to stop thinking and apply. I am 52 years old, and for the first time in my life after graduating from The Clearing here is what I can share:
1. I love myself unconditionally and wake up every morning grateful and thankful for the person they helped me become
2. I have been sober for 2 days before I checked in, and for over 3 months since I've left and not even considered taking a drink because I don't need to feel numb anymore - I can sit happily with myself, my feelings, my life - and I feel SOOOOO much better in the morning than I have in 15 years
3. It was expensive, no doubt, but it was THE BEST money I have ever spent on myself and what I learned and gained will last a lifetime
4. What I learned and gained is helping my family, my friends, my community because I am a better person every day

If you're looking for a rehab that delivers on their promises, call The Clearing. The program is amazing, addressing core issues on all levels to facilitate real healing. That said, be prepared to get to work - the 28-day program is basically the equivalent of a two-year Master's in counseling. In workshops and therapy sessions, you go deep into all those issues you've been avoiding for years. But don't worry, all of this is done in an incredibly welcoming and supportive environment. The farm location itself is beautiful, but the people are what make this place so special. Every staff member I encountered truly cared and went above and beyond for us. They paid attention to the details and took great care of us. I loved my group and felt so fortunate to work alongside the other participants. (Also, it's worth mentioning that the guest house was nice and cozy and the food was delicious.) It was the experience of a lifetime. I highly recommend The Clearing!
