This place is amazing. I have been here a few times because my own dumb decisions. but I love this detox center it's the best one I have seen around. the staff is amazing and caring. no one looks at you like your less then because your a addict. I can't really say any thing I don't like about this place. I wish we had more places like this maybe there would be so many people still on the streets using. thank you harborcrest for everything you have done and continue to do.

Bing coming here since I moved to aberdeen in 2023. I have a lot of health issues, but a lot of doctors over the years just blew me off. The nurse practitioners here have gone out of their way to get me referrals, and testing and treatment to help make my life better and be in less pain. None of my doctors before would put me on anything for menopause and i'm finally on some hormones now, and feeling a 1000% better. I'm really happy that I finally have some clinicians that care and want to help me. After 30 years of getting the run around. Im finally feeling seen and heard.

I’ve been going here and seeing the same therapist and medicine lady since October of 2022 when I moved to the area. They have bent over backwards to help me in this office. I do not understand any of the negative reviews. I’ve gotten more help from Eugenia Aberdeen than I have at any other therapist in 43 years of therapy.

Hadn't been their for many years since I now live in Ohio, went back last summer and visited. It is a place where miracles happen. I went there in 1992 in a last ditch effort to sober up. I haven't had a drink since. AA and the people I met there saved me from myself and I will be forever grateful. Most of the people I knew and who helped me through such a difficult time are gone and passed away and their names were painted on the walls. Most of the people there now do not remember these people, so I really appreciated that they had honored them so. God blessed me by having the Alano Club there when I needed it and may he bless everyone that enters its doors today. May more miracles happen.

The Center saved my life, and changed my life forever. I have never felt so cared for as I did here. The structure is just like it was in school— and the housing reminded me of dorms! And the housing is free, so it allows you the opportunity to start fresh. The sense of community paired with the support of the staff makes a difference. I was actually sad to leave! (Also, being 5 minutes from the ocean…so worth it haha) For those struggling with addiction (EDs, Alcohol, etc) this is the place to go.

It has been one year since completing my journey at The Center. The Center-A Place of Hope exceeded all my expectations when I sought help for my mental health. I felt seen as a person and felt genuinely connected to the staff and fellow patients. I extended my stay and completed 5 weeks. I never imagined the healing I experienced. I am grateful for my experience and opportunity to focus solely on myself. Housing was fantastic and the whole-person care was remarkable. I highly recommend for anyone who is wanting something different than in-patient treatment!

I've been to more residential treatment centers then I care to admit, so I'm speaking from an overwhelming amount of experience when I say that this is the best treatment center I have ever been to. There's too many reasons to list why. Also I'd like to add that most likely anyone leaving a bad review either was kicked out for fraternizing with the opposite gender, or they were caught using and elected to leave, most likely out of embarrassment. It's amazing at every decent rehab there will always be a dramatic difference between a review left by someone serious about changing their life and those who may e just aren't ready yet. If you're ready to have a life worth living and want the absolute best chance at living up to your full potential, then there's a couple things to consider: 1. Be honest and show up with the intention to get all you can from this experience. 2. Consider that you may not know what you need and most likely they do so be willing to take suggestion. 3. The staff and the owners at FBTS are the most caring and invested people I've ever encountered at a rehab facility. Also, the counselors and techs aren't there because they are making all kinds of money. These people will laugh with you, cry with you, and will be your biggest fan throughout your program. 4. The location is good, the facility is good, the food is good, the services are good, but the staff and the overall experience are the absolute best at what they do and the owners somehow managed to get them all in the same place. Addiction is hard but this place definitely makes it easier to not have to suffer from it.

*I didn’t go here for rehab but I inquired. Levi caught me by surprise. Not only was he personable, he was very informative. Asked a couple of brief questions and even sent me a email with providers who do take medicaid. I’m not sure if it’s a company policy to offer providers list (esp. to those reaching out) was appreciated. I now have step one of my recovery completed, finding a rehab and awaiting bed date thanks to Levi at NorthPoint Recovery.

The staff is incredibly welcoming and supportive, and they provide clients with a diverse range of skills, resources, and classes to support us in our recovery. Olalla was a life changing experience and gave me the tools I needed to get and stay sober. Kevin, my counselor, is an amazing and compassionate person who guided me through the recovery process. The Olalla staff are kind and patient and were always willing to give me the help I absolutely needed. The treatment center is located on was a hilltop forest overlooking Puget Sound, which is incredibly beautiful and the perfect environment for recovery. Walking the trail surrounding the property every morning was awesome. The food is wonderful and there is lots of it. I would recommend this treatment center to anyone who is serious about getting sober!!

I was at Ollala back in March of 2024 for a 28 days inpatient stay. It was the best decision of my life., and credit this experience and all I learned about addiction and myself for my continued sobriety today.The entire experience here at Ollala was incredible. The staff at Awakenings are the most caring, selfless, understanding people on the planet. Michelle is a godsend and worked so hard to get my sister the treatment she needed. She was in a dark place and is a very stubborn individual and coupled with alcohol addiction- she was a difficult patient to say the least. Michelle talked our family through all the steps to success and was there for us in every moment. I can not express the appreciation and gratitude I have for her. It is beyond words. She is the only person through our search to get her help that truly cared to see her succeed. She never gave up, even when Awakenings was not the best fit. Awakenings By The Sea is exactly where I needed to be to be able to grasp the concept of true sobriety. From the minute I walked through the doors it was evident to me that this was a place that served those suffering from addiction. The staff are truly dedicated and I believe "called" to spread the message and help to others. The work was hard but sharing it with other women and recognizing their honesty, strength and willingness made it possible for me to do the work and do it with complete honesty. The AA meeting every morning at the Little Yellow House, Von and Shannon's delicious meals, the beach walks, gym time, bowling and movie time----were just what was needed to help in the beginning of healing. Jean who kept our home so clean and tidy and her wonderful sense of humor and stories.The counselors, nurses, admin., etc. are dedicated to each and every woman who comes through the doors. I am forever grateful for the gift of being able to walk through the doors and be a part of this blessed place. I look forward to seeing my Awakening Sisters in the future. I have been given the tools and healing time I was desperately in need of and I cannot thank them enough.

This place saved my life. I had been to multiple treatment programs before- trying to get sober since 2010 and nothing stuck. When I finally was referred to Discover, Dru personally spent over an hour on the phone with me. I will never forget that conversation and how at just the right breakthrough moment, he simply asked, "how soon can you be ready?". a couple hours later, had someone waiting to pick me up from Portland and personally transport me to the facility in Long Beach. That level of care and urgency made all the difference and almost six years later, I'm still sober because of it. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who is ready to make a serious change.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE SPOKANE LOCATION... for some reason I can't access the comments on that one. Anyway it was great. No matter what my opinions are about some of the staff, they work their asses off. Place was cleaned several times a day. Groups were great. Food was great although one of the chefs was better than the other. Private room. Attentive to all my needs. They provide meds to help with withdrawal symptoms. Nurses on duty 24/7. If you are a smoker/vaper there are smoke breaks every hour in the daytime. Counselors were great. The best an experience like that can be from start to finish. I dont recommend anyone get into a rehab situation, but if you do this place is great. THIS REVIEW WAS FOR THE SPOKANE LOCATION!

Our family member was an attendee at The Clearing beginning July 2019. She had attended six 12 step inpatient rehab programs over the past 10 years and only experienced short term abstinence after each program. During the times she was "clean" it was through sheer will power. As a dear friend once said: "While she was in AA meetings, her addiction was out in the parking lot doing push-ups". Then this same friend recommended The Clearing. Several things struck us as different right away. Our family member was interviewed by the owners to see if the program was a good fit. Then, we learned that all participants start at the same time. They are on the journey together without new participants joining intermittently during the 28 days. Finally, this was the first place that REALLY looked at co-diagnosis. Other places gave lip service to treating co-diagnoses and gave 2-4 hours of counseling during a twenty eight day stay. At the clearing there was 120 hours of counseling. This is unheard of and in our hearts we know that this is what allowed our loved one to finally get to the bottom of her pain. Our family training is allowing us to better walk her new life with her and for that we are grateful. The post program support has made a huge difference in her confidence. We finally have our dear family member back and for that we will be forever grateful.

The Clearing is a TREMENDOUS program. I had went for anxiety, depression, disorganized eating. I didn't have a drug or alcohol addiction but it didn't matter. All traumas are addressed from the underlying core emotional issues. The program requires you to give your all. There is 6 days a week work, starting with tai chi, workshop, meditation, 1:1 counseling and more. You will thoroughly learn the process to uncovering your hurt and how to heal. The staff is amazing. There are no judgements, no shame, just healing peace. The grounds are fantastic, the animals are therapeutic, the food is out of this world. The key is to pour your heart and soul into this process, that's what makes this so transformative. You realize you have everything you need to heal right inside of you once you understand how to get there. There is support from staff and the other participants every step of the way. You are never alone in your healing. Make the phone call or text, ask every question, do your due diligence and you will not be let down. You are truly loved; from day 1 and long after you leave the grounds The Clearing is there for you and your family.

Encouraging, educated staff at the Clearing form personal bonds with every participant. The curriculum is advanced, for individuals ready to work on themselves and grow while they overcome addictions and their underlying issues. Be prepared to do a lot of writing, self forgiveness, and emotional release, this is not your average recovery facility in the best of ways. Information is redially available on the education and backgrounds of each staff member, with licenses posted on the walls of the classroom and inside the house. Individual counselors are skilled and attentive to each individual, with individual sessions scheduled throughout the week and move with the curriculum in terms of content and discussions. Individual rooms are comfortably fernished and welcoming, meals are prepared by professionals who foster a family-table setting environment, and provide unique dishes for varying tastes. (Vegetarians and Vegans are catered too and never go hungry.) Meditation and Tai Chi are welcome events of the day, with opportunity for physical and mental growth through relationships formed with the dedicated instructors. Aftercare is superior. Contact with past participants, those of your individual cohort, and with staff members is fostered long after you leave the facility. Bags are checked, but personal freedom is always #1 with staff members. Phones are allowed during specific times during the week, movie nights are savored, books are passed between participants with joy and contact with your authentic self is re-established. Spirituality is favored in parts of the curriculum, but specific faiths or denominations don’t matter at all. Agnostic people are welcome. Not to mention, The Clearing doubles as a sanctuary for retired farm animals that add to the experience exponentially. Goats, ducks, horses, cats, and sheep are available to feed and love. ❤️
