Loved everything about this place. I went in 2010-2011. It's way better than juvi. We had horse therapy. Went on a hike. You have to do the work to progress in this program so people aren't fond of it, but it changed my life and perspective. I'm a mom to 6 kids and have 13 years sober. I'll never forget my stay.

I attended vision in year of 2014. This treatment facility would quite remember me. During my stay there was alot of difficulties I delt with and made a slight commotion. This isn't a luxury stay, your housed with girls from all round the state, and it's a privilege based rewards to go outside. It's designed to make you think about how you want to change your life and never experience your freedom being taken from you again. There was no English music, birthdays got celebrated (a slice of cake for each girl), the year I was in we all had such good behavior as a group we had an olympics and went outside often. We were only allowed basic Hanes gray crew neck, t-shirt and sweats. Only time your not in that if it's summer they provide knee length shorts, and if your put on suicide watch. For obvious reasons they need to watch out for self harm. Every meal you dine with two units. Once your out of main unit you get clothing privileges, outing privileges, and meetings once a day, horse riding. I'm truly thankful for visions. I know many girls that led healthy beautiful life's that went through this program. This program could use donations or fundraising for better supplies/clothing for the girls. That's the only thing I could say negative about this place.

I'm doing everything in my power (which isn't much 😂) to make it there tomorrow (Thurs) for an intake to get Chris M back, cause he's the best psych I ever had. In case you're reading this Chris, I miss you buddy! I have just been stuck in debilating depression and couldn't even make it out of my room, let alone my bed, for months. It gets THAT bad. So I kept missing apts and eventually Sound had to kick me off because I wasn't showing up at all. I am praying to God that I can get Chris M back as my psych, because not only do I need one, but I do need med management and I need someone to talk to about things with that isn't a friend or AA. I am praying I get him back as my psych! Praying for the staff there and clients. i’m not sure if she still works with sound health but jessica was a wonderful psychologist for me. living in seattle was hell and weekly appointments with her made it bearable. although the northgate building is in a rough area, Jessica and staff alike created a home-like environment for me and i was able to rely on it heavily. even a year + later the warmth and kindness shown to me by jessica, kate, and carly ruminate in my mind like a safety blanket. dr.pascoe was lovely as well. weekly dbt and relationship group meetings including other like minded teens provided me with a sense of belonging and family. with an abusive home life and challenging school environment, the group therapy i attended was the loving community i needed. i still have the therapy worksheets as memories and references from our sessions together. i think about them often and hope their doing well. the impact they’ve had on me is immeasurable, and for that i’m truly so grateful. i miss them dearly, as they were a resource for me when i was desperate for an outlet. someday i hope to provide someone with the same compassion and support that was given to me. the gratitude i hold for them is infinite, i wouldn’t be where i am today without them. ❤️🥹

Had a pretty debilitating I.V heroin addiction, found my breaking point and just wanted health. Called evergreen recovery and had a bed within 24 hours. They make the withdrawal process as comfortable as possible without actually using opioids. As far as success rates, well that depends on you. You get to sleep and eat all day until you have kicked the worst of the withdrawal process. Usually, you can be referred to an inpatient/outpatient treatment program as well, which from my experience is completely nessesary if you want to remain clean. If you are thinking about detoxing here, please just go for it. Don't think twice. Give it a shot. Get your freaking life back!

I was very grateful for the nurses and staff at evergreen detox. They were carrying, understanding, but most important they were non judgmental. I would not have made it through the dtox process without them. My room was clean and comfortable. I could not comment on the food because i didn't eat much. I can say they make sure thee is plenty healthy snacks and lots of gatorade to stay hydrated.. I was there a few years ago and unfortunately i need to go back, but at least there is a place to go to.

The staff is kind and have patience. Be good to them and they are even better to you. This is detox people, it's not the 4 seasons hotel. If u want it that way, then spend $ getting that kind of treatment or vote for more funding from the government to help the facilities that are trying to help addicts. They can only do so much with resources they have. Regardless....we're the addicts and no one to blame but ourselves and at least there are people out there trying to help us *which should be nothing more than appreciated! I was there back in 2013, have never been so sick in my life. I was at the time, slowly dying of a severe oral infection. The doctor reminded the staff that I am a nurse. I was not sure if A.B.H.S. was the place for me! However one of my soon to be Bros on the ferry ride over suggested for me to give it a try for 1 week and then make my decision ! Because upon arrival I found out they did not have bottom bunks, no 2nds on meals, and it was all male! Blind Faith {trust the Creators Will for me} , H.O.W.(honesty,openmindedness,willingness) and action were a good tools to start with! The support from a healthy community and a well rounded staff kept me there! Because my first room mate gave me his bottom bunk and the staff addressed my cultural needs and several others in all aspects of my recovery! They were very understanding of my emotional outbursts and very respectful during my never ending "roller coaster" ride while I was discovering and healing my inner self! Kindness, caring, and sharing are few more words I would use to describe the community! I was able to grow in my recovery and help others through sharing my strength, courage and hope in my story! 5/7 of us that were on the ferry ride over graduated! I am making this review on my own free will and would recommend A.B.H.S. to anyone seeking help on their healing journey in recovery!

UPDATE...STILL SOBER! 10/23/24 I have attended Everett Treatment Services more than once in my drinking career. The first time I enrolled I was doing it strictly for the courts and did my best to cheat the system. Robert F was my counselor, he was direct and to the point. In short, he had my number and what I failed to see those years ago that it was genuine care. Since then (because I cheated the system and myself) I just about wrecked EVERYTHING DEAR TO ME, I decided to actually participate and put in the work. Every time I go to group, or sit in when there is a speaker I learn something, whether small or life changing, I take something from ETS that I use on almost a daily basis. Reading the reviews for this life changing facility saddens me. Please visit yourself, all the counselors have their own gripping stories about recovery to learn from. You will be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. I know, having to attend such a facility is most likely not your choice but if you do have to this place will help you through the rough patch you're in. I am proud to have 2,102 days sober today! If you want or need something similar call Maggie the director/owner with an open mind. Take it from me, I'm most likely still alive, still have my family and am still employable because I did. Good luck June 19th 2018

I’ve been going to Discovery Behavioral Healthcare for about 3 years now, and my experience has truly been a million times better since I started seeing Lance. He is an incredible provider. With his knowledge in meds and supportive therapy plus his humor it has helped me become a different person. He explains everything in detail about my medications and the progress I’ve made under his care has genuinely changed my life. To be honest, some of the other people I have seen here before didn’t help, and I felt like I wasnt making any progress. But since switching to Lance, it has been the best decision. The difference has been truly night and day with my experience here.. He listens, and he actually cares about me. The building is a bit run down and smells funny, but that doesn’t even matter since my experience has changed. I’m grateful for everything he has done for me and I will continue to recommend him to ANYONE!! looking for a genuine and CARING provider who actually listens!!!
