I was a resident here from October 2020-May 2021 I believe. I am shocked to read the negative reviews. Yes, this program is strict, but for very good reason. I was court ordered to go here because the judge, my probation officer, and my family all knew that a regular treatment program wouldn't have worked for me. The mental health & recovery services they offer are AMAZING. Every month I felt like I had made a life changing breakthrough. The paperwork they make you complete to move up in the program asks all the right questions to get to the bottom of why you're feeling the way you are, why you react the way you do, what you can do to change it, etc. Tish was an OUTSTANDING counselor and I still (6 years later) haven't found one as good as her. There are so many different types of therapy that they offer that helped me tremendously. They also helped me get medicated to help with my night terrors. They tested all of the girls for all STI's, took us to doctors appointments, dentist appointments, vision appointments. I finally was able to het glasses! They offered schooling there and I was able to complete. There's art therapy, animal therapy, nature therapy. I owe my life to visions. To the staff there. Amanda, Terrah, Lucinda, Kimmy, and so many more. Recovery isn't pretty. The facility being as locked down as it is and as strict as it is may not seem very welcoming or endearing from the outside, but it's exactly what a lot of those girls need. I am 6 years sober now with 3 beautiful children and I talk about my stay at Visons all the time. I think so many people could get the help they need from a stay here.

I’m very thankful for the care this youth treatment center provided. The staff are kind, patient, and truly care about helping young people do better. They take time to understand each person and offer support that fits their needs. The environment feels safe and supportive, and the counselors build strong, positive relationships with the kids. They also keep families informed and involved, which makes a big difference. I would recommend this center to any family looking for a caring and helpful place for their child.

Our family member was an attendee at The Clearing beginning July 2019. She had attended six 12 step inpatient rehab programs over the past 10 years and only experienced short term abstinence after each program. During the times she was "clean" it was through sheer will power. As a dear friend once said: "While she was in AA meetings, her addiction was out in the parking lot doing push-ups". Then this same friend recommended The Clearing. Several things struck us as different right away. Our family member was interviewed by the owners to see if the program was a good fit. Then, we learned that all participants start at the same time. They are on the journey together without new participants joining intermittently during the 28 days. Finally, this was the first place that REALLY looked at co-diagnosis. Other places gave lip service to treating co-diagnoses and gave 2-4 hours of counseling during a twenty eight day stay. At the clearing there was 120 hours of counseling. This is unheard of and in our hearts we know that this is what allowed our loved one to finally get to the bottom of her pain. Our family training is allowing us to better walk her new life with her and for that we are grateful. The post program support has made a huge difference in her confidence. We finally have our dear family member back and for that we will be forever grateful.

The Clearing is a TREMENDOUS program. I had went for anxiety, depression, disorganized eating. I didn't have a drug or alcohol addiction but it didn't matter. All traumas are addressed from the underlying core emotional issues. The program requires you to give your all. There is 6 days a week work, starting with tai chi, workshop, meditation, 1:1 counseling and more. You will thoroughly learn the process to uncovering your hurt and how to heal. The staff is amazing. There are no judgements, no shame, just healing peace. The grounds are fantastic, the animals are therapeutic, the food is out of this world. The key is to pour your heart and soul into this process, that's what makes this so transformative. You realize you have everything you need to heal right inside of you once you understand how to get there. There is support from staff and the other participants every step of the way. You are never alone in your healing. Make the phone call or text, ask every question, do your due diligence and you will not be let down. You are truly loved; from day 1 and long after you leave the grounds The Clearing is there for you and your family.

Encouraging, educated staff at the Clearing form personal bonds with every participant. The curriculum is advanced, for individuals ready to work on themselves and grow while they overcome addictions and their underlying issues. Be prepared to do a lot of writing, self forgiveness, and emotional release, this is not your average recovery facility in the best of ways. Information is redially available on the education and backgrounds of each staff member, with licenses posted on the walls of the classroom and inside the house. Individual counselors are skilled and attentive to each individual, with individual sessions scheduled throughout the week and move with the curriculum in terms of content and discussions. Individual rooms are comfortably fernished and welcoming, meals are prepared by professionals who foster a family-table setting environment, and provide unique dishes for varying tastes. (Vegetarians and Vegans are catered too and never go hungry.) Meditation and Tai Chi are welcome events of the day, with opportunity for physical and mental growth through relationships formed with the dedicated instructors. Aftercare is superior. Contact with past participants, those of your individual cohort, and with staff members is fostered long after you leave the facility. Bags are checked, but personal freedom is always #1 with staff members. Phones are allowed during specific times during the week, movie nights are savored, books are passed between participants with joy and contact with your authentic self is re-established. Spirituality is favored in parts of the curriculum, but specific faiths or denominations don’t matter at all. Agnostic people are welcome. Not to mention, The Clearing doubles as a sanctuary for retired farm animals that add to the experience exponentially. Goats, ducks, horses, cats, and sheep are available to feed and love. ❤️

I turned to sunrise behavioral health During my stay at a treatment center. I didn’t really know Where I was going with my life And no real connection to this community because I had never lived here before. My therapist ended up being so helpful in guiding me in the right direction. I have learned the value of a positive attitude, and just needed someone to talk to. I realized while sitting in the sunrise behavioral health therapy session that I Wanted to go to school. Now nine months later, I have completed a quarter and have reached a level of success. I never knew possible, and it all started with the positive reinforcement of my therapist And the close proximity of the office to a college campus which inspired me to pursue my dreams. I went from hopeless drug addict to successful student in a short period of time. The therapist is so kind, understanding, patient, and helpful. I love this place.

People often find the time and energy to voice complaints but I believe their rates would be even higher if more folks took the time to report the experiences they had. Catholic counsel S Services is the best establishment I have ever dealt with I have been dealing with ideal options are hor riffic my worst nightmare. I brought my grandson to Catholic counsel S Services to get him into treatment and I was told it would take months to do this but within 7 business days they had a bed for him at alala in Gig Harbor and I drove my grandson there where he graduated with little success today he is currently on another suboxone program and has been on methadone and is been kicked off from both and is suffering severe withdrawals so once again grandma has him here....2 go 2 CCS 4 REHAB!!! WISH CCS WOULD OPEN IN MONROE, WA. 98272....THEY IS A HUGE, HUGE URGENCY 4 A FACILITY IN THAT SMALL COMMUNITY!!! I’m a past client of A Place of Hope. My experience was a personal, professional and personalized program. It literally brought me out of complete self-despair. For anyone who surfers from anxiety, depression, drug abuse, personal abuse, mental disorders, PTSD, suicidal remuneration, abandonment or divorce, this was me . I recommend you at least stop in and be evaluated and go through A Place of Hope’s interview process. Be prepared for an accountability, being treated with respect and challenged to look inward, with a support network to walk alongside of you, with compassion. For me personally, this helped reframe my thinking and within my 30 day program. I left with a feeling of respect for others, myself and a new understanding of self-worth. As an alumni, I recently reached out to the Center for some personal assistance with my own self-care. Within hours the staff accompanied my request, gave me a plethora of resources to assist me. Offered me a book to be sent to my home, that they said, “You may find it helpful”. They also reminded me that I have access to their weekly Zoom meetings, for peer support. I’m grateful for there support and for me it’s was this support that reminded me the Center is there still for me in a time of need. Life continues to happen and we never know when you may need to ask for help. It’s ok to ask for help. You don’t have to do it alone. I’ll close with this. The Center saved my life, and changed my life forever. I have never felt so cared for as I did here. The structure is just like it was in school— and the housing reminded me of dorms! And the housing is free, so it allows you the opportunity to start fresh. The sense of community paired with the support of the staff makes a difference. I was actually sad to leave! (Also, being 5 minutes from the ocean…so worth it haha) For those struggling with addiction (EDs, Alcohol, etc) this is the place to go.

I’m very thankful for the care and support provided by Northpoint Recovery (Everett campus). From the start, the entire staff were compassionate, professional, and genuinely caring. They created an environment where it felt safe to be honest, ask questions, and focus on recovery while learning practical tools to move forward. What stood out most was the way the staff treated each person with dignity and respect regardless of their DOC, background, or age. The counselors genuinely relate to what you’re going through, which makes it easier to open up and feel understood. The combination of structure, support, and acceptance made a difficult experience feel much more manageable. The convenient location, ample parking, and provided snacks & beverages were a bonus. The negative reviews are mostly people that push the limits of their program and try to game the system. Yes there is hope you have to jump through when you start and precovid there were a lot more of them. Now they have streamlined the system so aslong as you are stable and showing up when your supposed to it’s as simple as spending a few minutes at a time you choose between 6am-12pm waiting to get your meds and go once or twice a month. The dosing staff and doctors are doing their best to work with getting everyone in as few times as possible while making sure you are doing what you’re supposed to be doing the only real negative is the other clients can be a lot to handle when you are trying to get clean in the beginning if they aren’t. Front desk staff and councilor turn over is roughly every two years but that’s the average in the industry so bake that in to your plan. All the way around this is the high water mark for MAT clinics in the state and your alternative is to keep suffering day to day waiting on deadbest people that don’t care about you. SIGN UP TODAY you won’t regret it.

i’ve been to a few of these clinics in my life, This is a really good one. I got off to a slow start though. Hint: *make sure the doctor is in that day, if you want to get it done fast!. and if you’re trying to get on meds the same day, get there real early. Staff is friendly, patient, Doctor is amazing, Only good to say after three months.

I have been a patient at 6 different clinics over the last decade. The counsellor Alan Hauber is by far the best counselor I have ever met in my life. He has gone above and beyond to help my husband and I be successful in our recovery and is one of the most kind-hearted people on Earth. My husband and I both can not say enough good things about this man. He is phenomenal! ☺️ The PA-C (doctor) Lilly is awesome. The dosing nurses are all very kind and understanding (but I gotta say Charlie is my favorite 😊). Kristi at the front desk has been amazing to us as well!

It works if you work it. I transferred to MAT here after completing the CUPWS program at Swedish Ballard. The counselors and team here are supportive and thoughtful. A few made lasting impressions that I will forever be grateful for. Proud to say I have over 5 years of recovery, and almost 4 years off of MAT. Thank you, THS for helping me start my journey to becoming a thriving, driven, and respectable member of society.
