This place..if I could give 10 stars, I would. The level that these nurses and staff go to is out of this world. I felt NOTHING! If you’re using and reading this review, this is your sign. GO! They will take AMAZING care of you! Gina, Lucy, Karla, Sara, Sydney and all the others have your back and are there to help. Also, the food isn’t hospital food. It’s wholesome, delicious food that the kitchen will cook to YOUR liking. The counselors, Tanya, James, Cristen, Sherwin know what they’re doing. Trust them! They keep you busy once you’re out of special care. Hope someone makes the next right step because of this review!!

9 years ago tomorrow I checked in. 9 years clean. They Changed my life I was 24 pregnant with my first baby and needed help. They were the perfect community, caring, loved their program and everything about it. I don’t think I have a negative thing to say about my experience. It was 9 years ago but I can only imagine it’s improved since then also. Sending my love to everyone who worked there or attended during February 2017.

My family will forever be grateful for the care and support our son received at this treatment facility. When he entered treatment, we were frightened and unsure of what the future would hold. The staff welcomed him with compassion, dignity, and genuine concern for his well-being. Throughout his time in the program, he received the tools, guidance, and support he needed to begin rebuilding his life. The counselors, medical staff, and support team went above and beyond to help him address not only his substance use disorder but also the underlying issues that contributed to it. What stood out most was the commitment of the entire team. They treated our son as a person, not just a diagnosis, and they never gave up on him. Their professionalism, empathy, and dedication made all the difference. Today, our son is living a healthier, more hopeful life, and we truly believe this facility played a critical role in saving his life. We cannot thank the staff enough for the work they do every day to help individuals and families heal. We highly recommend this program to anyone seeking quality substance use disorder treatment for themselves or a loved one.

I’ve been to pretty much every methadone clinic in Pierce County, and most of them are frustrating. It takes forever to get dose increases, and some require an EKG every 20 mg, which just slows everything down and makes the process miserable. This place is completely different—hands down the best clinic I’ve been to. They allow dose increases of up to 20 mg per day if needed, and the intake process only took about an hour. Yes, you do have to go in daily at first (about 13 days), but it’s straightforward and worth it. After about a month, I was already eligible for weekly take-homes, which was way easier than I expected. I’m already up to 160 mg, and the whole process has been smooth and supportive. Best clinic in Washington, no question. Highly recommend.

I personally had no issues, but there was tons of drama there and it was very stressful on me personally. I was only there a week and 3 days and left and flew back home to cali. There is a really good male psychiatrist there who actually I met with a few days before I left, I can not recall his name but with his insight he really helped me figure out the things causing me to self medicate. I ended up getting clean on my own and have been clean now for 11 months almost a year!

I was impressed with the care of the staff & how each client was treated as an individual. Sometimes a little laid back but overall I believe my life was saved there by following treatment plan developed for me. Everyone was so very nice, very direct & honestly showing concern. They are very professional at BHR Rendi is my counselor she's the best. Ann is my psychiatrist. I can't even begin to explain how much help they've been to me. I always look forward to my telephone appointments weekly with Rendi she really knows how to get into my mind and gives me more options in different types of situations which allows me to make better choices. I have schizophrenia not by choice I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy so I've got it and I have to deal with it daily as long as I stay on my meds and stay in contact with my counselors and psychiatrist I seem to do well but the minute I decide I don't need my meds everything goes to hell in weeks the schizophrenia has really destroyed half of my life I really wish I didn't have this disease but there's nothing I can do about it except continue to take my meds and continue my counseling with Rendi and Ann... That's basically all I have to say Behavioral Health Resources is great I have no complaints they've done nothing but help.

I had contacted this organization searching for support in a time of need. They are very willingly and happy to help! It was surprising to me that I didn't get turned down right away and wasn't asked very much questions about my situation. It shows me the staff are kind, compassionate people who truly care. Another big postive is that they are very fast at answering phone calls and returning emails in a timely matter, which I appreciated a lot. The only reason why I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because IMO I didnt feel quite as safe where the office is located traveling by myself. I am a smaller timid woman. :) To be fair, it is in a highly populated area targeted for certain demographics. :) I do recommend this place if you are in need! I've been in therapy for close to a decade on and off (mostly on.) My therapist at Pathways is the first therapist who I've truly felt *got* me. I've made more progress towards healing and had more genuine growth in the last year than I have in the last five combined, and my therapist is absolutely the one who deserves credit for that. Office staff are incredibly communicative, and very easily reachable by text. If my therapist is unable to make our appointment, I've always known at the first possible moment, sometimes the day before. I really value that in patient appointments are available (though limited.) I feel like I built a better connection to my therapist before having to switch to Zoom, and I've had a much better time with telehealth therapy through them than other services (I'm looking at you, Sea Mar.) All in all, I recommend them highly to everyone I know, and everyone I know who's acted on my recommendation has loved them too.
