I personally had no issues, but there was tons of drama there and it was very stressful on me personally. I was only there a week and 3 days and left and flew back home to cali. There is a really good male psychiatrist there who actually I met with a few days before I left, I can not recall his name but with his insight he really helped me figure out the things causing me to self medicate. I ended up getting clean on my own and have been clean now for 11 months almost a year!

I was impressed with the care of the staff & how each client was treated as an individual. Sometimes a little laid back but overall I believe my life was saved there by following treatment plan developed for me. Everyone was so very nice, very direct & honestly showing concern. The food was Fantastic & kitchen staff very flexible. I learned much during my 30 days of treatment & use the knowledge daily to guide me in my one day at a time sober way of living. I am very pleased & all my family say it was money well soent.

Awakenings By The Sea is exactly where I needed to be to be able to grasp the concept of true sobriety. From the minute I walked through the doors it was evident to me that this was a place that served those suffering from addiction. The staff are truly dedicated and I believe "called" to spread the message and help to others. The work was hard but sharing it with other women and recognizing their honesty, strength and willingness made it possible for me to do the work and do it with complete honesty. The AA meeting every morning at the Little Yellow House, Von and Shannon's delicious meals, the beach walks, gym time, bowling and movie time----were just what was needed to help in the beginning of healing. Jean who kept our home so clean and tidy and her wonderful sense of humor and stories.The counselors, nurses, admin., etc. are dedicated to each and every woman who comes through the doors. I am forever grateful for the gift of being able to walk through the doors and be a part of this blessed place. I look forward to seeing my Awakening Sisters in the future. I strongly recommend Awakenings by the Sea for women’s only inpatient treatment! I went through the program about a year ago and miss it so much! It was a very formative part of my recovery and paved the way to successful sobriety. I wasn’t sure I would like it and there was a small conflict that arose between me and one of the staff members while I was there, but ultimately it all made me stronger. Tabitha is a no nonsense counselor, and she is great at finding potential cracks in your plan for sobriety and offering practical suggestions to surpass obstacles. The extracurricular activities are a big bonus… Like leisurely walks on the beach, weekend outings, in-house yoga and visits to the local gym. Patients also get to attend daily meetings at the Little Yellow House in Seaside, which is a world famous AA center. The community I found at Awakenings has stuck by my side and seen me through the good and the bad. I miss the routines, the dedicated staff, the other women, the powerfully moving group sessions, and the around the clock support for my sobriety. I haven’t needed to go back, but if I did, I would definitely choose Awakenings by the Sea for my recovery journey! 🌊💜💯

Awakenings by the Sea was just what I needed in my time of darkness. The tools, rest and healing saved my life. The staff is professional and empathetic to the needs of women in recovery. I feel as the 30 days of instruction, care digging deep into my value, feeling’s and motivation has gotten me ready to face the future in sobriety. Von cooked the best food ever. Each meal was served with a salad bar.
We went to the local AA meeting every morning, which got us ready for a busy, productive day. I got so close to the staff and women at Awakening’s, that it is hard to leave.
What a safe, comfortable place to heal.

I have never felt so comfortable going to the doctor before. Everyone I interested with, at the front desk and in the exam room, was kind and patient. The nurse (Lindsey) was personable, skilled and wonderful, both at intake and in taking blood for a lab later. My doctor (Danielle) didn't seem rushed at all, speaking with me about my history, listening to my health concerns, being encouraging where I had health struggles. I felt like I could talk about any issues and get understanding and help. I was very nervous to be switching providers after moving into the area, but now I feel totally at ease!

I love our doctors. Dr. Glover-Cloutier and Dr. Miller are awesome. The explain what they will be doing and they listen to you. The front desk staff are pleasant and always helpful. The doctor assistants are great too as well as the hygienists. We have never had to wait too long. I would recommend my friends and family to this care facility.

I have been using Sea mar clinic for several years now for all of my family health needs. The doctors are respectful, courteous and attentive. Not once have I ever had to push the issue of good quality care. Prosperity Wellness Center is a place to go to if you are having issues with chemical dependency. I’ve been to treatment at 4 different locations in the state of Washington. Prosperity Wellness Center is by far the best program that I have experienced. My counselor at out-patient treatment heard great things about this program and recommended that I go there in order to receive their duo-diagnosis of chemical dependency and mental help.
On arrival, I wasn’t impressed with the campus. I only saw a small building and a parking lot. In the past, all other treatment centers were connected to either big parks or campus property. Don’t let the appearance fool you. The real magic happened inside that small building.
There is a strict time schedule used in the program there. It is used as a way to put order back into your life. There are daily classes that help you learn how to live a happy life. The classroom exercises help you understand why you think the things that you think and they help you regain confidence when coming back to regular society.
The staff there are very knowledgeable and courteous. They do really care about you and they help you no matter what type of background that you come from. They all have powerful stories and experiences that they share. I felt loved and wanted there.
The nutrition program there was excellent. The meals were really good. The cooks put a pot of time and effort into preparing the meals. The snacks throughout the day kept me from ever going hungry.
What made this program different from all the other programs that I’ve experienced, is that I was able to recognize my higher power and I was able to create a strong family bond with other patients there. I was able to learn how to cope with my past traumatic experiences in a way that I had never done so before. I went there on a voluntary basis and I am happy that I left there as a different man. If you or a loved one is struggling hard with chemical dependency, then please allow this program to save your life.

Update: Nearly 6 years later, I'm still clean & sober. This program did things for me that I couldn't have ever asked for. I was a stone-cold alcoholic: 25 beers/day was my unhealthy way of solving the problems that really drove my addiction. I was scared to start, but Pacific Crest Trail Detox helped me get clean. They helped me get into their sober houses to give me 3 months of what I really needed - a family that understood. Sober brothers, that knew my struggles and talked me thru them. I miss it.. It was very comfortable, the food was amazing and all of the staff were so incredibly supportive helpful and beyond kind. By the end of my stay there I almost didn’t want to leave! people and the staff are more then willing to do anything to help you even if it's just finding resources, i just got out of detox today and i did NOT want to leave, i came there thinking there's no WAY i could stay 7 days and when the 5,6,7th day arrived i just did nOT want to leave it was a bitter sweet ending i felt so safe it's like a legit house and you have your freedom to do whatever i could bring my vape pretty much anything you can bring there that isn't drugs i felt so safe and taken care of it was the easiest detox ive ever been through i will be recommending pacific crest trail detox to EVERYONE who needs to go to detox there is NOOOO better place in oregon to detox than pacific crest trail. i thank all you staff members there for being so kind and patient and lifting me up and always willing to listen please go here if you are considering detox

This place is actually trying to help you stay sober. I belong to another clinic (for the moment) and I have curtesy dosed here before and had an emergency where I couldn’t get back to my home clinic in time and Amy and Betty Anne (excuse my spelling) and the Front Desk did everything they possibly could to help me get emergency dosing for the day with them even though it was close to closing time. I plan on switching to their clinic closer to my home as soon as I can. They truly want to help you stay sober. They will do whatever they possibly can to help you and be on your team. Being at Hazelden was life changing. I feel like it was the most important thing I’ve ever done. The emotional work was liberating. This is the only treatment center I know of that helps people heal their inner pain/trauma wounds that lead to use. The staff there were amazing. Overall I was treated with respect and empathy. The facilities were very clean and well maintained, and the food was amazing. Techs Tia, Michelle, Amanda, and nurses Mariana and Dee Dee were especially kind and helpful to me, and unfortunately I can’t remember all the names I’d like to list.

Lifeline Connections helps a lot of folks in so many ways; My experience has been in the Healing Animals Program in Equestrian Therapy or as I lovingly call it, Horsey Therapy.
Equestrian Therapy helps people with mental health challenges that could be anything from PTSD to Depression, Anxiety, etc. A lot of folks think we ride the horses. That doesn't happen at all.
Horses are remarkable beings. They teach us to regulate our emotions even after a stressful or traumatic event.
I go to group and individual therapy.

I walked into Bayview at my lowest point in life. It was hard for me to accept treatment. I refused that I needed help. I thought I was fine and that I did not need the help.However that really did change after spending some time in the mental health and substance abuse programs. The counselors were really amazing and the way they structure their program really does help. Every one of the staff is easily approachable and they can all relate to you as the patient in some way. The staff do everything they can to help you and make you feel safe and easy to talk to them. I went in as a broken man and I came out someone better. If you really want to get better, this is the place to do it. Anyone here that writes a bad review or says that it did not work here in the review section did not try to get better. Instead they are blaming a place that truly cares about the patient and they gave up on themselves.Again if you really do want to get better come to this place because I cannot think of another program that is well structured, professional, and as caring as Bayview.

A very helpful and professional recovery center. The classes were informative and instrumental in my continued recovery. The recovery house atmosphere was pleasant and helpful staff all around aided in my recovery. My case manager “Jeff” was awesome, a true professional with concern for his clients always uppermost in his mind. I was in a deep, dark place this time last year and Cedar Hills took me in with open arms. I had never done an outpatient mental health program, I was feeling really insecure. The staff was wonderful, it felt great to have everything managed in one place. Frequent medication changes proved to be so helpful. This program allowed me to get back to the basics of self care, along with depression and anxiety management. I graduated April 2024 and I’m a different person. I can go to work, I can safely express my emotions, I can verbalize my needs, and I understand that I have worth. Thank you Paisley for being the best counselor and helping us all get to the place we want and deserve to be.

This place made a big difference for my child, and that is all that really matters to me. I will say, they could have HUGE improvements in parent involvement, parent education, and family therapy. At times, they seemed almost anti- parent, which seems to me to be a strange approach to recovery. My ex and I were left on completely different pages as to next steps for our child. They should take a note from Clementine which has great support for parents. But, my child is doing well, and I'm thankful.

Wanted to thank the staff and everyone who was in here at the same time as me.
I didn't come here entirely on my own free will, but because I was kind of cornered into it by my therapist. And I wasn't happy about putting my life on hold to be here. But now I see why she really wanted me to go.
I had no previous experience with programs like this and didn't know what to expect. And you can bet I doubted everything every step of the way. I still do in some areas.
But the longer I was there, the more I saw a difference and realized why things are done the way they are.
I got a lot out of the program in the relatively short time I was there and have seen a big difference in my eating and thinking. And also in my physical health and brain. My memory has really noticeably improved and so has how I feel physically. And I've felt so much calmer and happier compared to before I went in. Turns out eating consistently helps you not feel like you're in fight or flight all the time, who would have thought haha.

this has been the best eating disorder treatment center i have been in! yes, they did make me eat food and not engage in behaviors but i don’t feel the need to anymore! lauren has been very helpful to my recovery! she deserves a raise for all the work she puts in. anyone can see how passionate she is about her job! ari is an amazing therapist! amanda is doing an AMAZING job as clinical director! she is determined and dedicated to helping others live eating disorder free! all the staff is amazing and wonderful! 10/10 would recommend! #edfree

Im only giving 5 stars because the staff here is nice and they listen well and always help out when my husband has stomach episodes. My husband and i came in again today first time in a few months he's gotten sick like this, he has a cancerous cyst in his esophagus that causes issues with his stomach so he’s on a special diet until we find out what triggers him. Sometimes he eats something that sets him off and he ends up puking and dry heaving until he cant stand and he can’t keep any fluids down so i bring him here to get an IV with fluids so he doesn't dehydrate! The doctors, the nurses, the medical assistants, everyone here is wonderful they always listen to me and do great with him. What saddens me is today i was in the waiting room with him and there was a hand full of people staring at him while he was puking and dry heaving, and making comments and telling people not to sit next to us because they thought he was contagious even though i had clarified he is not and that its a pre existing condition. It became so uncomfortable to the point i wheeled my husband into the hallway and waited there and stood in front of him so no one could stare. Everyone in the waiting room didn't even show signs of being sick, no one was coughing or puking or pale or had any visible sickness. They all just sat around on their phones chit chatting and staring at my husband and making comments, and half of them got into a room before my husband who is in agonizing pain. One of the women in there kept announcing that she had cancer, and was even being disrespectful to the staff, and talking down of the staff saying no one here knows how to do their job, she offered me these odd candies for my husband and I politely turned her down and she immediately caught an attitude. Y’all need to grow up. Im sure if you were in my husbands position or my position you wouldn’t enjoy that either. So folks think before you speak.

Adapt turned my life around. Its intense, but you learn so much from different perspectives, the environment is so supportive, and they give you access to a dietician, grief counselor, psychiatrist, and Occupational Therapist. They also offer individual counseling. Adapt gave me the hope I've never had about my mental health.

My therapists at Woodland Park are awesome; some of the best I have ever had. The desk staff and security guy are awesome as well. I feel loved and accepted and unafraid to be my authentic self. Plus they hug which I need so much. It is a safe place for me.
