Based in Plano, Texas, Women’s Elevated Sober Living is one of two gendered transitional living and recovery programs offered by Elevated Sober Living.

While they do offer sober living options for men, this particular location is women-only and welcomes individuals transitioning from primary addiction treatment, or self-motivated folks seeking continued recovery support. Insurance isn’t accepted here, with only private pay the only option to cover initial move-in fees, and the weekly rent of $260 per week.

This facility is ideal for women seeking a structured, supportive space in which to grow and ease into independent living as they implement what they’ve learned or are learning during their recovery.

Being here is all about accountability, with the overall philosophy influenced by 12-step-based principles. Residents can expect to engage in regular house meetings, while following house guidelines and structure.

It’s also a requirement that all residents take part in external outpatient or intensive outpatient programming (IOP), or hold down a full-time job or educational responsibilities. Regular urine and breathalyzer testing is performed to ensure a safe and sober environment for all.

Residents can stay in either shared or private bedrooms, depending on availability. Meanwhile, the house features spacious common areas, a communal kitchen, and a yard and patio space for meetings and relaxation.

Residents can enjoy free breakfast, high-speed wifi, and access to all cable and movie channels. Laundry facilities are also provided on-site for convenience, while residents can share a house car to easily access external support groups and recovery events.
