I had been a problem drinker for years (let’s just be real: the worst drunk you can imagine). Although I had tried to quit several times before, I always ended up failing and winding “right back in the bottle.” While the outpatient rehabs were fine, they never prepared me for what came after: actually having to live and cope with what the world throws at you. Even after a full year of sobriety I was still struggling when the VA referred me to New Hope. During my first session I was amazed that Toni understood addiction and where I was at with my struggle with my own mind and addiction to alcohol. I was willing to put in the work that Toni suggested and I am now experiencing a life I never thought I could have. If you’ve had enough and are ready to change, give New Hope Counseling a try, it’s changed my life forever. As of the time of this review I am 3 years, 4 months sober, happy, and healthy.

InnerBalance is a hidden gem among inpatient rehabs. I struggled with addiction for many years and went to several inpatient rehabs. Nothing was working. I was physically ill by the time I reached InnerBalance, with frequent seizures, low platelets and liver disease. I was in so much emotional pain and despair. InnerBalance gave me a lifeline. What made it so phenomenal, were the people who worked there, many of whom are still there today. There was an emphasis on nutrition and correcting imbalances in my body. I was allowed to go out at times to explore Loveland. That kind of normalcy and trust was meaningful. I was given support through group and individual therapy, as well as a nutritionist and life coach. The organic meals were very nourishing and the education around how to care for my mental and physical health were invaluable. They encouraged me to go to sober living after I left InnerBalance, which made a huge difference in maintaining my sobriety by giving my body and spirit more time to heal. I relapsed several times within that year, but because of the genuine support I had received from the counselors at InnerBalance, I did not continue in any of my relapses. I now have six and a half years of sobriety. InnerBalance gave me the support I needed to let go of what was holding me back from sobriety. I learned how to love myself in a way I never had before. It was just the beginning of my journey, but their program and everyone there, had a ripple effect that changed the way I approached early sobriety, and even the way I still approach my health. I hope anyone who is struggling with addiction finds their way to the wonderful people at InnerBalance.

As a mother of a son that went to Choice House for treatment, I cannot say enough about this program and credit them 100% for saving my son’s life! After a lot of research, I discovered a 90 day inpatient program plus sober living has the best outcomes for long term sobriety. My son completed 90 days inpatient and living in sober living 1yr which was an integral part of molding him into the man he is today. He has been sober 3 1/2 years and still lives in Colorado surrounded by the supportive community he built while in treatment. I want to take a moment to give the biggest shoutout to Treasure, one of the nurses at this clinic. She is truly one of a kind. ❤️ Every time I’ve encountered her, she has been fast, professional, compassionate, and always willing to go above and beyond. She has such a positive attitude, and you can genuinely tell that she cares about the people she serves—not just as patients, but as human beings. I’ve actually come into the clinic twice when I had a urine review, and instead of having me sit around and wait, Treasure called me to the window, dosed me, and got me on my way. That may seem like something small, but when you’re coming to a clinic and already dealing with so much mentally and emotionally, that kind of compassion and efficiency means EVERYTHING. I’ve been clean for a year now, and when I came in to dose, Treasure told me how proud she was of me and reminded me that I was worthy of staying sober. What she didn’t know was that I had been going through one of the worst periods I’ve experienced and was dangerously close to relapsing. Hearing those words from her in that moment meant more than she could ever understand. Sometimes people don’t realize how powerful their words can be. She didn’t just give me my medication that day—she poured something positive back into me when I desperately needed it. She reminded me that my sobriety is worth fighting for and that I am worth staying sober for. Treasure, please know that what you do matters. ❤️ You have a gift for pouring into people, encouraging them, and making them feel seen. Honestly, I think you should consider counseling or something along those lines because you have a natural ability to uplift people and speak life into them. Thank you for being the nurse who doesn’t just do her job, but makes a difference. You are appreciated more than you know. I first came to this clinic with absolutely no expectation of getting sober. That was May of 2022. I didn't stay with the clinic, hell I think I only came 3 or 4 times and that was only because I was sick. However, those few times planted a seed. Because I came back. October 4th of 2022 was my last dirty U.A. I have been sober since. I owe a lot to this clinic and methadone treatment. Because without it I wouldn't have done the work that needed to be done to be where I am today. I'm no longer on the streets, I have a home. I have most of my family back. And I'm in the position to be able to continue to fight for the rest, whereas before that would have never been possible. I guess the reason why I'm even writing this review is for the people who have so many negative things to say about this clinic and how they don't like it in their neighborhood. But they never stopped to think about how this clinic has saved so many lives and the positive things that it has done for the hundreds and hundreds of people that come through the doors. These people with their negative views never stop and think about the lives that get saved. And how many of those lives are no longer getting high in the alley anymore. This clinic does more than just "handout methadone" it brings back a sense of accountability and responsibility, it councils us in the good and the bad times, it shows us that somebody still cares and gives us hope.

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews, because I love this place. I have gone to BHG for multiple years, I left the Colorado for a while and when I came back they were able to get my information transferred and I was able to start getting my medication without any problems. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Best clinic in Boulder county in my experience 👍

I can't say enough good things about this organization and the people that work here. Coming up on 2 months of sobriety, I can honestly say I would not be here without the amazing staff and therapists at NorthStar. I want to give a huge shout out to Sean who worked with me in helping me identify my triggers and to create a plan for my future. I could write a review a mile long if I started naming all the great staff at the lodge, but I'll keep it to this: from the AM staff to the PM staff, every single person there is invested in supporting you on your journey, and they truly 'get it.' Even though I was court ordered to this place. They accept walk ins and will help anyone. You have to want the help! first time around I tried methadone it didn’t work for me, everyone is different. I did the groups and therapy through court. Learned so many things and have continued therapy a year after being off probation

The entire staff was amazing! The counselors were great at communicating with the patients! Everyday was filled with positive and helpful information! The nurses were awesome at making sure everyone was comfortable, got their meds and were feeling as good as you could thru the program! Even the front desk person was very attentive to the patient's needs. Definitely a wonderful place to start your journey to recovery!

Hello I am a 17 year old client from Redpoint Boulder. I had come to Redpoint on May 13th, 2026 from a group home rehab in Encino, California. Redpoint has done a lot for me in terms of not only continuing but excelling my treatment. Special thanks to my therapist Michaela who held me accountable and told me how it was and how it wasn’t. My personal therapy did tons for me here, such as exploring and becoming more comfortable with the person I am and what I hold. All of the other staff here from therapists to front desk humans are beautiful and they all put into the experience I have gotten from Redpoint. You will only get out as much as you put in. If you are a parent and your kid is in a bad spot good luck, it’s not easy but there is always a way to better living for you and them. My son was referred to Redpoint in the midst of a mental health crisis. I had tried therapy and medication, and were unsure what was needed to get him stabilized. From the initial meeting to our current experience of him getting ready to finish the intensive outpatient portion of the program, our experience has been nothing but positive. The staff is incredibly easy to work with and their program is very effective. My son has learned many coping skills, how to navigate conflict better, and has a much stronger sense of self than he did before the program. His mental health has stabilized and he is now thriving. As a part of the program, they also offer family therapy, which has been really awesome, helping us navigate and improve our family dynamics as well. The entire family has benefited from my son‘s time at Redpoint. I highly recommend this program. It worked for us when nothing else would.

I had the honor of attending the graduation ceremony last week. It was inspiring to see young people eloquently speak to impacts the staff and teachers have on their lives. The teachers also shared stories and the genuine responses from the students of feeling heard and seen was remarkable. Residents of the home have many struggles and trauma, I witnessed the structure of staff navigating them to their seats and to the picnic lunch after, it was done with ease, respect, and care. Went throught this company for DUI group therapy. They offered it through telehealth and the group I went through changed counselors a few times when I first started it but I finally ended up with Paul. He was a great counselor who was kind and came across non-judgemental and was never condescending. Seemed like he was genuinely interested in listening to everyone's experiences in the group and offering his own necessary when providing the actual counseling. The groups were very informative and helpful, especially because everyone had a metaphorical open table to discuss at and it felt less like a single person pushing an agenda/curriculum rather than a group of people working through it together. Great experience, even if I hope I never have to do it again.

A year ago i checked in to the Rose house after finding them from a google search while in a scary mental health spiral. I had never even heard of residential treatment facility but I was desperate for a safe place to go where my family didn’t have to be in charge of my care. At the rose house I found a safe place to process a lot of complex trauma, which for me included religious trauma, and learn to heal. I can remember asking how people heal here and the staff just telling me to trust the process. It took a lot of hard work. This place isn’t a vacation. It’s a place to come face to face with yourself, to allow others to see you in your pain and to learn to trust yourself again. I truly believe going to the rose house saved my life. They provided a safe place for me to deal with my trauma, a place where I could have my dignity and some independence while also having staff to help. My therapist was amazing and helped me face many things. The community of women are key for healing because we can’t heal in isolation. My only one thing that I think could use improvement is support for when you go home. I know other programs provide some aftercare and I think this would be very help for all once they leave the care of the rose house. But overall I can’t recommend them enough if you are seeking help for mental illness!

5-Star Review for The Rose House We will be forever grateful to The Rose House for the care and support they provided to our daughter-in-law during a very difficult time in her life. Before coming to The Rose House, she had experienced several short-term psychiatric hospitalizations and had worked with therapists, but unfortunately, lasting recovery had not yet taken hold. The difference at The Rose House was the opportunity for long-term, comprehensive care—more than 90 days of treatment focused entirely on her needs and on helping her build the foundation for lasting wellness. Just as importantly, The Rose House included our family in the process. We learned, participated, and were given the tools and understanding to support her in a healthy and meaningful way. That family involvement has continued even after treatment. We remain engaged in outpatient counseling and are committed to being open, supportive, and encouraging of her ongoing wellness. Today, she has been healthy and doing well for a year and a half. She has worked incredibly hard, has taken responsibility for her own wellness, and has done an amazing job caring for herself. We know recovery is an ongoing journey, but The Rose House gave her—and all of us as a family—the time, tools, support, and foundation that made lasting change possible. We are deeply grateful to The Rose House and the people who cared for her. Hard program, understaffed and overworked employees, complex patient population. It’s an inner city methadone clinic don’t expect the ritz, but it’s a good program with staff, nurses and Councelor’s that truly care about their patients. Due to the nature of the work there tends to be a heavy turn around on Councelors but it has gotten much better since I first started going there in 2021. At the end of the day, despite the BS, ARTS saved my life and I am grateful for them, they were there for me during the lowest period of my life and have continued to work with me and my complexities. As far as methadone clinics go, you would be hard pressed to find a better one than ARTs.

The receptionist was very understanding and helped me find a good counselor to work with. My counselor is great, he fit for my needs. All the rest of the staff have been amazing helping me too, being supportive and understanding. I don't know what I would have done without all the help and support I've gotten from the staff there.
