I have been with BHCare for a long time. I have had nothing but good experiences with everyone I've ever seen there. From the front end staff, my therapists, doctors and many other people. I highly recommend this facility if it is the kind of care you need and are looking for.

I have been using services at bh care for a long time When I first received services I was living with my parents and was very dependent on them I was assigned a case manager who push me to be independent in a couple of months I end up moving out and getting my own place Years later I now pay my own bills provide my own transportation And now my son goes to young adults at bh care and they are doing the same for him

So amazing compare to ones in Bridgeport or New Haven or West Haven Or Stratford

The best methadone clinic I've ever seen so friendly and helpful they aren't like the massive clinics where it's like a assembly line greeted with smiles and kindness the recovery coach is awesome and the staff truly cares makes you feel like a human being!

Ann Psychiatrist she is an empath she will find you out haha 😂 she's the best , Victor was amazing but he left Alexis and Jamie are also the shit but but def Jamie and Ann if you need a power pack. Be nice to them and they will be nice to you they all usually do their best their any issues that I have is with the system not the people working there.

Apt is a great facility that offers different programs & medication options for those struggling w/addiction but are ready to make the change. It's conveniently located & right on the bus route. Counselors at Apt are caring, genuinely want to help, & most have also been thru the program so can emphasize w/your situation.

My counselor was respectful, responsible & made me feel comfortable whenever I was talking with him. Receptionists at the front desk are always so nice, the whole place, in general, seems more caring willing to talk instead of simply pushing pills into your system.

I've been here 3 times. It's a great program, very structured . The staff has always been great. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a program.

Thank you so much to Nurse Meilena in the ER department. She was very attentive and professional.

I went to the ER with my daughter last night and waited about 7 hours to be seen. I understand ERs can be extremely busy, but a dirty waiting room and restrooms are not acceptable. In seven hours, the waiting area and bathrooms were not cleaned, and there was garbage on the floors and seats. That environment was stressful for us and raises concerns about hygiene for all patients, especially families with children. On a positive note, the medical care my daughter received was exceptional, and the rest of the hospital we visited felt clean. Because of the high quality of the care she received, I would recommend Bridgeport Hospital, with the hope that the ER waiting area can be improved. Suggestions for improvement: Increase cleaning frequency in the ER waiting area and restrooms, especially during busy periods. Ensure restrooms are checked and stocked regularly in peak times. Improve communication about expected wait times and ongoing updates for families to reduce uncertainty.

The doctors suck here. Whats the point of asking for my file from CMHA if they aren't reading it. Very difficult to get staff to hear your needs.

The place has changed drastically (for the better) since APT took it over. Parole and Probation would not allow people to come here otherwise. Lots of Food, amenities, an outside smoking area, gym, cell phones allowed, Good staff etc etc. There's now full fencing with locked gates around the facility. It's amazing what there funding has done to the place now that new management is NOT stealing it. Which was the case yrs ago when it was called "Crossroads". If your new to the logistics of getting in here then ask ask ask questions. They don't freely tell you much of anything without asking. Possibly due to the high number of return clients. That's the only reason for 4 not 5 stars IMO.

Maggie is the main coordinator at the Counseling Center. He is the greatest human being on the face of this Earth! She will jump through hoops for anybody any given point in time. As far as the other stuff and the therapist and the receptionist and all the behind-the-scenes people who you never get to see you do all the work are also amazing and so friendly it's comforting I highly recommend this place to anybody that seeking help!!! Personal Side Note { personally I love Branford Counseling Center 1000 times 😇😃🙌💃👍👍👍

I've been with NMHBH for(maybe) 20 years now. I've seen 3 women counselors. I literally walked right out in the middle of each session. One woman was constantly late. She would go to her office and spend even more time. Eventually, I was called in and ONLY had 10-15 minutes left to talk. All the while, she was putzing at her desk with her back towards me. Another counselor, I was explaining how I feel with the physical aspects of having anxiety and panic attacks. To me it is physical. So, when I mentioned all this to her, TRUE STORY!!!...AND I QUOTE...(with a tick of the tongue)she replies, "Oh! I don't believe that!!" I was in complete shock 🤯! I gave the counselor a piece of my mind and stormed out of the office. I thought counselors are supposed to be sympathetic. 🤔 Hmmm?? Listens well and has GOOD advice to give that will certainly help with your everyday difficult situations, troubles, uncertainties etc. I received no 😣 helpful feedback. I don't seem to get along with any female counselors or women in general. I'm still a patient at NMHBH. Now I only go every 3 months just to check in & review my medications. This is only MY experience. Perhaps you'll find a counselor for yourself & hopefully be able to establish a relationship that is detrimental to your well-being. Thank you for your time. Mz. Murphy

The best mental health services I’ve found. Have worked with two different practitioners here and they were both exceptional. This place had been recommended to me initially and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them out others
