My experience with Turnbridge was excellent. My 15 year old son first entered Woodbury and then the extensive care program in New Haven. In 6 months of rehab at Turnbridge they did a great job and today my son is with me in Argentina already returning to High School and continuing rehab with Argentine addiction specialists. I want to highlight 3 people, who in the order I mention them were very important for the emotional support and understanding of the situation I was going through. They are: Mark Adamski, Noah Richmond, Justin Alter. Very grateful

We are so thankful to Turnbridge for helping to heal our family. Each member of our son s team was caring, supportive and compassionate. The parent support groups led by Lauren were a lifeline for us and got us through unimaginable pain. To know we weren t alone and that there was hope was an incredible blessing.

It was great until all the hiring freezes, then they expect veterans to get treated via referral in the community, which could be done better if the VA shared information with them. The care is amazing when they are not overworked and understaffed. They need more specialists and less bureaucratic paper pushers. Also the cafeteria food went downhill and isn't good enough to be charging $9/$10 for a turkey sandwich on white bread or two pieces of fish the size of my thumb. No one really likes that dry ass food anyway unless they are desperate.

I never thought I would review a hospital but I had to do this one. I ve been going to ELIH sporadically since I ve lived in Greenport 20 years ago. And I ve had experiences ranging from bad to okay to good.Unfortunately, this morning, I had to go to the ER again at 3 AM- 9am. Every single staff member, Nurses, doctors, radiology, and reception, they all treated me amazingly. Of course it was a horrible time for me, but they all were nice and receptive and understanding. Normally, I do anything I can to get out of going, which I m sure is what everybody does, but I had to bite the bullet. Probably one of the only times I don t regret that I went.Truly, it was the best experience I ve ever had in the hospital. The ELIH staff deserves all the praise!!!

3 1/2hrs was a bit much especially when you're already in withdrawal & have a 5yr old but I guess that's more of a ME issue than APT foundation. As a whole they are fabulous. Never had any issues, they are even extremely helpful when in a bind and have no transportation to get to clinic. I would recommend apt foundation for anyone looking to maintain long term sobriety.Edit: the 3 1/2hrs was just the initial intake. I also only went to Long wharf location for intake as well. For my day to day needs I attend the clinic in North Haven. I have no bad things to say about that location either

I received my vaccination yesterday. I received a telephone call from the staff to confirm the time. I was taken as soon as I walked in the door. I appreciated that the vaccination is given in a trailer, which limits the number of people there, decreasing the chance that others are there for sick visits. I was able to park a few steps away from the entrance. Everyone was friendly, professional and wearing appropriate ppp equipment, I was given an appointment for the second vaccination right then. Well done Cornell Scott.

My mother is legally blind and the staff went out of their way to help guide her with meals and walks with lots of detailed verbal cues. As you can see, Mom made the best of her stay ringing in the New year on 2North. Some of the staff that we would like to give a shout out to but not limited to are:Andrew RNRose-RNJen-ClerkAlicia-PASue-nurseLori-NurseMary AnnPedro-AideStacey-Case WorkerMom and I are grateful for her care and speedy recovery and wish everyone a happy and HEALTHY New Year!
