This facility put my mother through physical therapy for two weeks. The staff were phenomenal and the food was amazing!

I've been working with Michelle for many years now and I have no complaints. She was always available and my prescriptions were sent in quickly. She spends the time to talk to you about the prescriptions, if they are working or not, or if you want to switch any. She has a discussion with you in detail and had even offered me samples before to check out a new medication I was interested in. Since Covid, I don't even have to go to their office, it's all virtual.

I’ve been seeing Michele, my Psych APRN, for six years. I was honestly shocked to see low ratings online, as I believe they stem from past staffing issues and not a reflection of Michele herself. When I first started with Michele, I was a newly single mom, early in sobriety, and had just returned to my home state. I'd never been able to maintain sobriety or stick with a consistent, competent provider before. Michele changed that. As a mental health professional myself, I appreciate her understanding of the challenges I face. She respects that I know what works for me and never talks down or assumes a power dynamic. That mutual respect is rare and refreshing. She has consistently been there when I needed her—offering short-notice appointments, guiding me through medication changes, and sharing insight based on patient experiences. She provides helpful context on what to expect from medications and offers samples when insurance delays occur. Michele stays on top of refills—something that’s been a major issue with other providers I’ve had in the past. She knows how critical it is to not miss doses and ensures her patients don’t have to go without. Beyond medications, she offers thoughtful, holistic guidance—encouraging good sleep, nutrition, therapy, and attention to one's environment, all of which impact mental health. She sees the whole person, not just the diagnosis, and her approach reflects deep empathy and understanding. Michele recently moved into a new, calm, and bright office space, which she now shares with a small, stable team. The environment is private, peaceful, and easily accessible—but what matters most to me is that Michele herself is accessible. I don’t have to go through multiple layers of staff just to get help. That direct connection is invaluable. Over the years, she’s supported me through one of the hardest times of my life—emotionally, physically, and mentally. She never dismisses my concerns and always offers encouragement, especially on tough days when I’m doubting myself as a mom or struggling with chronic health issues. She reminds me that I’m doing my best and that things will get better. I’m especially grateful for her flexibility—offering telehealth when getting to the office is tough and allowing me to bring my child when needed. As a solo mom, that level of understanding makes a world of difference. Her support has helped me stay sober and emotionally stable—something I never thought was possible before working with her. Michele is the first provider I’ve had who is consistent, present, and reliable year after year. I genuinely hope she continues practicing for a long time because having someone like her in your corner—especially when managing recovery, chronic illness, and mental health—is rare and incredibly valuable. Thank you, Michele, for everything you’ve done and continue to do. I am truly grateful.

Apt is a great facility that offers different programs & medication options for those struggling w/addiction but are ready to make the change. It's conveniently located & right on the bus route. Counselors at Apt are caring, genuinely want to help, & most have also been thru the program so can emphasize w/your situation.

Heather is amazing. You can tell she loves her job and helping the community. Always attentive and answers any questions I may have .

Inter Community, 40 Coventry St, Hartford CT. I’ve had a very good experience with InterCommunity Health. The staff is welcoming, respectful, and genuinely cares about patient well-being. From the front desk to the doctors and counselors, everyone takes the time to listen and provide support without judgment. Their integrated approach to healthcare—covering physical, behavioral, and mental health—makes it easier to get comprehensive care in one place. The medical team explains treatment options clearly and works with you to find what fits best. Wait times can vary, but overall, the quality of care and compassion shown by the providers more than make up for it. They also offer helpful resources for recovery, wellness, and community support, which shows they’re truly invested in helping people improve their lives.

Intake appointment was smooth. I was seen by very compassionate APRN Heather and had visit with behavioral specialist. My first therapy session is scheduled for October. I have high hopes.

CHR's a great agency. They've helped me out for plenty of years. Great people there and encourage you to do the best. And you continue to do the best. They help you and encourage you to strive and go independent with your recovery. Great people there. And great people who go there. I can't complain about the quality of services. Because where I come from originally there weren't any of these services. I'm grateful to have CHR in my life. Always wanting it to learn new things. And advocate for these services to continue. And do activism with it as well. Do whatever it takes to keep our life and quality of life going. Great job CHR. Keep up the great work you have done. And continue to do. For our communities statewide. Let us be an example for this country, the United States, and the world.

My experience with RIATC was great I loved the people I met on my zoom meetings, and the monitors were absolutely amazing. I did zoom meetings because I didn't live in RI. I learned so much from them and I still use all my coping skills I got from them. I would definitely recommend going here for anyone having issues with Mental Health. Thank You.

Although I was only there for 2 months due to insurance reasons, I learned a lot from RIATC. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. I was lucky enough to do my intake with the owner. The fact that he has so much recovery time made it comfortable for me. They offer in person IOP and for those who have busy work schedules like myself, they also offer evening Zoom sessions as well. I can't say enough about the help I received at this place. Its nice to know that if I ever need help again, its just a phone call away!

This place is life changing, the facilitators and fellow clients are caring, supportive people. I’ve learned coping and life skills I need for a healthier and happier future. Definite recommend if anyone is considering mental health or substance abuse help, it’s definitely a wonderful resource.

The best methadone clinic I've ever seen so friendly and helpful they aren't like the massive clinics where it's like a assembly line greeted with smiles and kindness the recovery coach is awesome and the staff truly cares makes you feel like a human being!

Ann Psychiatrist she is an empath she will find you out haha 😂 she's the best , Victor was amazing but he left Alexis and Jamie are also the shit but but def Jamie and Ann if you need a power pack. Be nice to them and they will be nice to you they all usually do their best their any issues that I have is with the system not the people working there.

The Dr’s are great and the staff is very helpful with all questions and concerns! Shout out to Ashley of the Explorer Program, as well as Amy and Nick.

My counselor was respectful, responsible & made me feel comfortable whenever I was talking with him. Receptionists at the front desk are always so nice, the whole place, in general, seems more caring willing to talk instead of simply pushing pills into your system.

I’ll say it every time: Susan is the best hygienist I’ve ever had. Maybe I’m biased, but I’ll stand by it. Working in the field, you meet some… let’s just say ‘unique’ hygienists — and this office is the complete opposite. From the doctors to the dental assistants, the hygienists, and of course the front desk, the whole team is incredible. Truly a great practice to be part of. Thank you!
