This is the 3rd clinic I've been to in Utah and I'm kicking myself in ass for not transferring here sooner. They are the most patient oriented place I've been to. All the staff is great. They have given me goals that are attainable and worth putting forth the effort. I'm hoping to stay here as long as I need to..thank you

I am giving this place three stars which I read all the reviews and there are none that give three stars. They re either one star or all stars so I hope my review will help people discern the plus and minuses of this place. I wanna say this place is pretty good compared to other clinics I ve been to in Utah . They are thorough and professional for the most part. The PA that I saw was not so much he is clearly overworked and did not seem that interested in truly helping people but he s not a monster when I first started going Savannah was my counselor and for the most part I liked her although she is kind of fake acting and super sweet and wears like shorts a short jumper Which was super odd and she repeats the same cheesy phrase over and over, but then I switched counselors and I liked her and she was new and I liked her a lot better but yes Savannah I m gonna give thumbs down . Sav, as they call her faints realness but when you actually ask her for something that might take some extra work for her forget it . All the nurses were helpful professional and seem to go above and beyond to help all of the patient patients. They are super efficient and seem to be fully staffed. I never had to wait more than a few minutes to dose The check-in system is slightly impersonal. You just type your number into a computer but I also like that aspect of it. The only drawback was the computer and especially the keypad is so worn down that you couldn t even see the numbers# on the pad they really need to invest a small amount of money and getting a new keypad . They do appear to micromanage people and over involve themselves like hellicopter parents but it was never over burdensome just be prepared to jump through a few more hoops then most clinics. The location is in a very congested intersection of both freeways and local high use roads so you won t be able to walk to this clinic. And you must be careful when driving there and pulling in and out of the parking lot as it can get pretty hairy . Call ahead to make an appointment I doubt you ll be seen same day and intake is approximately 4 hours so be patient on first visit.

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient
Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.
medically-assisted-detox iconMedically Assisted Detox
Drug and alcohol addiction often takes a heavy toll on one's body. Over time, a physical dependence can develop, meaning the body physiologically needs the substance to function. Detox is the process of removing drugs and/or alcohol from the body, a process that can be lethal if mismanaged. Medical detox is done by licensed medical professionals who monitor vital signs and keep you safe, healthy, and as comfortable as possible as you go through detox and withdrawal.

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

When you enter a drug rehab in Utah, the process usually involves four stages: treatment initiation, early abstinence, maintaining abstinence, and advanced recovery. Treatment methods can rely on medications, counseling, or both, in either an outpatient or inpatient setting.

Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Rehab and other substance abuse facilities treating those with a dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorder administer psychiatric treatment to address the person's mental health issue in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
lgbtq-program thumbnail image
LGBTQ Program
Recovery is most successful when clients feel accepted and validated by their peers and treatment providers. Facilities that offer LGBTQ-inclusive programming are committed to creating a safe space where everyone can grow and recover without fear of judgment or discrimination. They will have dedicated policies in place to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters free expression.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Accreditations

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Established in 1992 by congress, SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on American's communities.

I have been to 3 different methadone clinics and CTC is by far my most recommended clinic if you want to be in control of your treatment. The ENTIRE staff is wonderful but the one person at this clinic that has went above and beyond to help me is my counselor Savanah. I've never had anyone so kind, caring, supportive, understanding....... the list could go on and on. I highly recommend her to ANYONE struggling with opiate addiction.

Staff is so friendly, non judgmental, and understanding. The Doctor is amazing, and the counselors are as well. Tina the office manager is great with the clients. Originally I came from a clinic located in another state, quite hesitant to switch the program I was on. It was the best decision I could have made. This place puts clients and their sobriety first.

This place kept charging me for 11 weeks after I stopped going at 105$ a week. Now I’m back and the only way they will help me is if I pay 250$ a week the pay off the debt. This company is a money hungry parasite to the community. Yes I’m still going because I’m now hooked on methadone and can’t function without it. If I don’t pay 250$ a week they punish me by taking my dose down as rapidly as the law allows

Love the staff here! There are, of course, a few whom I could do without, but I think that's the case anywhere. There's never a line to dose, nurses are very empathetic, and the entire facility is much cleaner than others I've seen. I'm very glad I made the change over to this Clinic!

Great way to get off Heroin and definitely the best location/clinic if your deciding to do MAT. Been going three years, took me about a year to get completely off the dope but that was my fault. I got completely clean off everything about 6 months ago worked my way up to 2 weeks take homes. It was great. But just do not mess up if you get a call back to come in to show your bottles. I did, was completely my fault. Had a bottle in my girlfriend's car cause I was going somewhere for the night. But in 30 days your able to earn them back. Thanks Tom your great, Tina, Diana, all the nurses. It really is a caring clinic. All these negative posts are just people mad at the system. The clinic is doing what the law tells them to do. This clinic and staff truly cares about there patients.

I've been to a few similar clinics and this one is by far the best. I was blessed with an incredible counselor (Natalie) who really does care about me and my treatment. She checks in with me often to make sure I'm doing okay personally as well as with my dose. I recently found out I am pregnant and I've been overwhelmed with the amount of help and support I've received from Natalie and the Dr (Tina). They recommended the SUPeRAD CLINIC for my pregnancy which they specialize in mothers pregnant on methadone. I feel like I've gotten a great comprehensive approach to my treatment and all of my providers here at CTC (even the sweet kind nurses too) have been nothing short of amazing, thorough, non-judgmental, and supportive. Thank you so much!!
