Been here 3 times over the past 2 1/2 years and will continue to return as many times as I need because this place truly is the best and has saved my life everytime I’ve gone The staff are very compassionate, kind, and understanding. Anytime I’ve needed a staff member to talk to someone has been there for me, anytime I’ve cried someone has been there to comfort me, Anytime I’ve needed to process someone has been there for me. Even when I occasionally have a mood swing or outburst due to my bipolar instead of punishing me they calm me down and help me through it. Heck I’ve even had many times where therapists who aren’t even my assigned therapist will essentially give me a session if need be and that really shows how much they care. The groups are fantastic. You can tell the facilitators put in the maximum effort to make sure you get a lot out of them. My favorite has always been Ling the yoga therapist one of the nicest people I’ve ever met While residential could get boring sometimes without your electronics the staff do a lot to keep the clients entertained offering weekly outtings, doing fun events like carnivals, movie nights, daily walks, and so much more. They also allow handheld devices and I’ve come to be known as the Pokemon master here cause I always play Pokemon on my switch My only small complaint is sometimes I have felt my celiac needs aren’t always met well but that’s mostly the caterer’s fault and even last time I was here the lead tech (awesome dude) went to Publix to pick me up some gluten free foods in case of emergencies which really shows the care the staff have for the clients Overall thank you to the DBHC staff for saving my life and I will always recommend this place to anyone needing help and if I ever need to do residential again I’m coming here. I will come back here 20 times if that’s what it takes

Other Forms of Payment

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financing your treatment can make treatment more accessible. You'll work with your care provider to set up payment plans, including interest rates and repayment timelines. Financing options vary widely and not all programs offer them, so be sure to get the full details before enrolling in treatment. If you have insurance or other benefits, financing may help you cover your remaining out of pocket expenses.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Inpatient rehabs feature intensive clinical supervision and a highly structured and supportive environment, meaning they are especially well suited for clients in early recovery and those at risk of relapse. Clients reside at the treatment facility and engage in various therapeutic sessions throughout the day, including addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training. Many programs also offer evidence-based complementary therapies, such as meditation and massage.

Designed for individuals who don't require round-the-clock care, a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a form of outpatient care with a higher level of support. PHP treatment can be an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or a step-down option. With daily sessions lasting 6 to 8 hours, up to 5 days a week, a partial hospitalization program may offer medication management, relapse prevention techniques, and behavioral therapy interventions. PHP treatment can be fully or partially covered by insurance.

Clients enrolled in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) travel to treatment centers for specialized care multiple times per week. Intensive outpatient treatment allows clients to receive robust care while continuing to live at home. Most programs require between nine and 20 treatment hours per week, with the frequency and intensive of sessions decreasing as clients stabilize. Services generally include a combination of addiction counseling, medication assisted treatment (MAT), recovery-focused life skills training, and holistic therapies.

Telehealth lets you attend your appointment from anywhere, so you don't have to travel, take time off work, or find a babysitter. You may also choose a specialist who is far away, since you don't have to go to their office. Lastly, you may be able to schedule an appointment sooner if you choose a telehealth visit.

Treatments

Alcoholism is a pattern of alcohol use that involves continued drinking even when it causes problems. Alcoholism is also characterized by a physical dependence on alcohol, which causes the body to experience withdrawal symptoms when alcohol is not present. Due to this physical dependence, medically-supervised detox is often necessary to safely recover from alcoholism. Alcohol rehab in Georgia offers a three-step process of detox, rehab, and maintenance to help individuals recover from alcohol addiction.

opium iconOpioid Addiction

A quality drug rehab in Georgia can help you overcome addiction. This environment is designed to help you address the complex issues contributing to drug dependence. The goal of treatment is to give you the tools you need to make a full recovery.

Addiction treatment programs in Georgia help individuals to address substance abuse problems. With various programs available, including outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization programs, you can find the right level of care for your specific needs. You can generally expect drug and alcohol rehab to incorporate evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), skills training, recovery meetings, and mindfulness-based therapy. When combined, these interventions can successfully help you overcome addiction and continue to enjoy long-term mental health.

While in treatment for a substance use disorder, mental health services are provided, and you have access to a mental health counselor or therapist round the clock. Clinical staff constantly monitor your care, and you receive a number of mental health therapies including individual and group counseling, relapse prevention education, and coping skills training. Other mental health offerings will vary by rehab.

In Georgia, specialized dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs address co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Care levels include outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization. Therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy, or dialectical behavioral therapy, equine therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, skills training, and recovery groups — like 12-step — support you in achieving sobriety and sustaining recovery. Developing the tools to establish a solid support system (or strengthen an existing one) will also increase your chances of long-term recovery success.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

While cognitive behavioral therapy in Georgia is unique for each person, this therapy follows a standard structure that has proven effective. Clients first learn about their substance use disorder, then learn and practice techniques such as coping, stress management, and resilience to change their thought and behavior patterns.

During family therapy sessions in Georgia, members address the emotional toll that addiction has had on them. Therapists help your family develop coping strategies and improve the family unit's communication. This provides a stable environment that supports the recovery process.

People in Georgia find that group therapy offers a place to share responsibility for each other's recovery. This helps foster a collective commitment to sobriety, which increases your potential for success and creates a network of mutual support that often follows into personal friendships.

If I had to recommend a facility to anyone it would be here. Saying this affected my life in the best way possible would be an understatement. Nyla, marc, alyeah, hunter and almost all of the techs deserve their own shoutout, I don’t think you’ll ever find a facility where you will feel this cared for at. I was here in march and sometimes I miss it. For a mental health center that is almost unheard of. They accommodated me so well, listened to all my needs and helped me in ways that sill stay with me forever. To think I almost didn’t go because I didn’t want to or felt like I didn’t need it is crazy to think about. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️<3
