About Eastover Psychiatric Group

Eastover Psychiatric Group is a coalition of independent mental health care providers in Charlotte, North Carolina. The team consists of several master’s and doctorate level clinicians. They offer compassionate, personalized support to individuals and families struggling with illnesses like depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder and substance use disorder. If you are undergoing alcohol or drug rehab and need assistance with co-occurring mental health issues this provider could be a valuable resource.

Comprehensive Care at Your Fingertips

One thing I really appreciate about Eastover Psychiatric Group is that they offer both in person and telemedicine appointments. This makes care more accessible to those who face barriers such as transportation or scheduling difficulties.

Additionally I like that they provide a full spectrum of mental health services including medication management and individual and group counseling. Some mental health providers only provide the latter, so it’s great that you can get all your needs met in one place.

A Gold Star Reputation

Another thing that stands out to me about this provider is that they have a proven track record of success. Many of their past and current clients rave about the staff and thank them for helping them through some of their darkest hours. They have said that the staff is warm, calm, encouraging and wise.

Dr. Reddick and his staff are extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. His office environment is welcoming but he also has options for video appointments if need be. Dr. Reddick is easy to talk to with a calm and easy going demeanor. Eastover Psychiatric is great asset if looking for help for yourself or your children and I highly recommend their services.

Okay so I've tried getting in contact with this place to schedule a new patient appointment about 4 times now. I left a voicemail about 3 weeks ago, another 2 today and no one has gotten back to me. I've heard good things about this place but a simple call back to get the help needed is not happening. So here I am. Off to a bad start

Accepted Insurance

Eastover Psychiatric Group works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Levels of Care

outpatient iconOutpatient

Outpatient Programs (OP) are for those seeking mental rehab or drug rehab, but who also stay at home every night. The main difference between outpatient treatment (OP) and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) lies in the amount of hours the patient spends at the facility. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Outpatient is not meant to be the starting point, it is commonly referred to as aftercare.

Treatments

Mental health rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more. Mental health professionals at these facilities are trained to understand and treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image

Adult Program

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Clinical Services

Whether a marriage or other committed relationship, an intimate partnership is one of the most important aspects of a person's life. Drug and alcohol addiction affects both members of a couple in deep and meaningful ways, as does rehab and recovery. Couples therapy and other couples-focused treatment programs are significant parts of exploring triggers of addiction, as well as learning how to build healthy patterns to support ongoing sobriety.

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Therapy is a pivotal part of effective substance abuse treatment, as it often covers root causes of addiction, including challenges faced by the patient in their social, family, and work/school life.

Chandler is always professional, polite, and understanding. I've never had to wait more than five minutes to see her. She is very intuitive and always takes time to listen to my issues and needs. I'm so glad that I found her after my previous Dr. retired. She definitely is an asset to Eastover Psychological.

Chandler Perry is easily the best, most caring and easy to talk to psychiatrist I've ever had. Everyone should be so lucky as to have her as their psychiatrist. If she left the practice I'd go with her is how good she is. No lie she rocks it like a super star ✨⭐✨ To me all these bad reviews sound like sour grapes. I've never had anything but sweet, understanding service from everyone there. For Xmas I sent her nurse an Sbux gift card as she is amazing as well.
