RMTC was the best experience I’ve ever had . The equine therapy was the best experience I’ve ever had as well. I’ve been sober 2 years and 2 months since I left treatment and my life has changed in a positive way, im a different person now and I love me. Lorna really helped my family and I through some really touch stuff , she is an amazing lady. I want to thank everyone who was there when I went through. I remember Bobby coming to see me when I was in detox he prayed with me and sang it was beautiful he is so good at what he does thank you Bobby. I refer my patients to RMTC as I work at the providence psych ward as many people who go through our place are addicted and need help! I can’t say enough about RMTC Thank you

After creating what seemed like complete chaos and destruction in my life and running away from my problems for years, I found my way to Rocky. I showed up with nothing but the clothes on my back and the sliver of hope that I could return to living a life I was proud of. I was hesitant, as I have already been to treatment three other times, but with the support of my family, I made the decision. I was definitely terrified, but what I learned as I got acclimated, is that everyone there truly wants you to succeed. All of the staff have experienced addiction in one way or another, most being addicts or alcoholics themselves. The building is unassuming, but is rooted in a history of spirituality, which is something I was able to reconnect with during my stay, thanks to bible study and wellbriety. Side note: being a repeat treatment offender, I expected to already know most of the “curriculum”. This was not the case. I had never heard of Wellbriety (which turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the program) and everything was presented in a way that just made sense. Their equine program is exceptional and helped rebuild my confidence, which is something I was sorely lacking in. One thing I was particularly anxious about was family week. I had somewhat of a traumatic experience with family week at a previous treatment center. Yes, it was anxiety inducing, but the gifts I’m already receiving from it (more honest and open communication, strengthened relationships and understanding, the ability to own my past mistakes/shame/guilt, and increased self awareness) greatly outweigh the feelings of dread and despair I had before. I also appreciate being able to attend meetings outside of the facility. I chose to stick around Great Falls when I got out, so having that established support community was very helpful upon my discharge. I never thought I would be going through treatment again, but I’m so glad God led me to the doors of Rocky in Great Falls. It’s definitely not a magic pill for a better life, but if you’re willing to put in the hard work, be open minded, and tough out the difficult moments, I think you’ll find your experience to be pretty life changing. I know I did.

I recently visited the VA in Great Falls for blood work and to meet my new primary care nurse, and I have to say I was really impressed with the experience. Everyone I encountered was kind, welcoming, and helpful. The blood work was quick and easy, and my appointment with my new primary care nurse was such a positive experience. She took the time to listen, answer my questions, and make me feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. Starting with a new healthcare team can sometimes feel a little overwhelming, but the staff made the whole process feel easy and welcoming. I really appreciate the people who take the time to make veterans feel respected and taken care of. Excellent Service at the VA – Highly Recommend! I had an excellent experience with the service at the VA in Fort Harrison, Helena, Montana. The nurse who helped me was absolutely amazing—kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to explain everything to me and made the entire experience so much easier. I also want to highlight the kindness of the staff throughout the building. When I couldn’t find where I was supposed to go, a lovely woman in the hallway actually walked me all the way to my destination. Even some of the maintenance staff went out of their way to help me find my way out of the building. It’s not every day that you experience that level of genuine kindness and helpfulness. I especially want to recognize the nurse for making such a positive impression. Excellent service all around. Highly recommend! ❤️

This place is absolutely life saving! The care the Case Managers and LAC’s take with their clients is TOP-NOTCH! Mandy has worked wonders for me personally so a HUGE shout out to her- just an amazing woman! The staff are literally Angels in disguise. The knowledge and care that the LAC’s share shows the loving people that they truly are; they love us for the people we are, not who we were. Everyone was friendly and attentive while remaining professional. The entire process was good and fast considering I had a complicated fracture of my left wrist and had to have a CT scan because I smacked my head when I fell with no loss of consciousness. I'm absolutely shocked to see that this hospital only has 2.3 stars. It has the best ER staff I've dealt with in years, both as a patient and as a mother. My 19yo, who was the patient tonight, agrees. They were compassionate, did a full workup, and explained things thoroughly. The nurse also put an IV in more competently than the last few places either of us has been. Regarding the PA, my daughter says, "He was very thorough, explaining everything well so I understood what they tested for. He was very good at communicating. He was very kind and I felt comfortable the whole experience. I didn't feel like they were dismissive. He sat there and explained everything to me. They didn't just shove me out the door."

Unfortunately, if you are going here it's not by choice....I am her to speak on the aftermath of this program. I have a life today that has far exceeded my goals in early recovery. This program and some very amazing people within it, helped me grow and change in ways I am so grateful for. This was the wake up call I very desperately needed. When I was sentenced to elkhorn people told me you will not be the same person after that program "it changes you" (they didn't mean that in a good way) little did I know they were right!! I am a different person then when I went into this program. I have an amazing life; I have my kids back, I am buying a home, I have a college degree, a career, 5 years sober, and a life I've built that I am not willing to lose!! At Elkhorn I made the decision to take charge of my life, I decided to stop surviving and start living!! If you are reading this you probably have a family member here or maybe a stay here is possibly in the cards for you. If you lean into this program and take everything you can out of it, look at it as an opportunity instead of a consequence, you too can have the life you dream about (only far better).

The best thing that could have ever happen to me was being sent to elkhorn. I learned to much from them. Because I went in with an open mind and wanting to change and be sober and healthy …it worked . I have had my struggles since I have been out but there was not one time that I ever gave thought to go using . Now that I have been out I see why things were done the way they are done at ETC. and with anything in life if you want something bad enough you can have it . If you want to be sober you will take the tools with you and use them . My life is so amazing now and yes it all cause I went to ETC with an open mind and a mindset of wanting to change and live a better life then I ever thought I could . My review isn't about the same type of care that is getting the bad reviews on here, but instead the genetics doctors and laboratory. We have found them to e very knowedgable, caring, informative, and expedient in getting our family cared for.

Went here 2 times one for acute and residential in 2021. Well I would say it helped me in some ways. I would also say it really just depends. My experience with the staff was amazing and I felt like the ones I had on my unit truly cared about us kids. All the staff I have met have been truly supportive and kind. My only problem is that when I was there they would dose me up on all these different kinds of medications and when I would advocate for myself and tell the psychologist I didn’t want to be on all these high dosed medications because they make me sick, they would always ignore me or just dose me up more. I did have an incident where an other kid on the unit was being weird and inappropriate towards me. I told the nurses repeatedly and they never even did anything to correct this behavior or even make him stay away from me. Other than those 2 things my experience was overall good. Definitely learned what I needed to and so much more from my experiences here!!

My daughter was 20 and started going down a real bad path. We hired Reflections Intervention Team in AZ to get her to MT. She was in a one year program and left a little early due to health reasons. I’m eternally grateful to the Hope Center in Helena. My daughter came back sober, and she is like a new person! Hope was able to do what we as a family could not accomplish here at home, even though we really tried ! The change in her is absolutely amazing 🙌 . I visited her twice and it was a great experience. I joined in for dinners which included a nice balance of carbs, proteins, salads. Their Airbnb for families is beautiful. Don’t let the “no licensed counselors “ reviews scare you because the counselors that are there are amazing women who want to serve and help these women. The only thing I would change is to give the girls an hour more of sleep .

My son was there about 8-9 years ago. EXCELLENT. SAVED HIS LIFE AND NO PRISON They way they work with them is amazing! Certain steps every 3 months and it is the best rehab center for 9 months. Thank you.

I would absolutely give a 10. From the time I called ideal option to the time I was getting real help was only a matter of hours, I feel that quick response time is important when a person is nervous to reach out. Also, Dr Sather and Tucker have been helping to guide me through this challenging time. They have both been extremely helpful, I feel safe sharing my situation as there's no judgment from them. Most of all I'm grateful to feel valued during my visits.

I have been off of pain meds for 12 yrs now. I have never even been tempted to go back to them. It was killing my family and myself. It been easy for me to do what needs to be done when going to a clinic!! The place I was at for 10 yrs couldn’t keep counselors due to pay, insurance and they’d find something better, I had a lot of different counselors because of that, but I never faltered. I did what I was suppose to do. The people at this clinic are absolutely wonderful! They hard friendly, honest, and they truly care! I have gotten attached to all of them. They felt like home for me, I going to have a hard time leaving them due to moving very soon!! I’m m already sad about it. When you walk through those doors, you need to have your mind made up that you’re ready for their help. They’ll be there every step of the way. Just be honest and do what you’re supposed to do to do. The most amazing people work here. There isn’t one bad thing I can even see with this place. It’s very easy. Go in with the mindset of it being the first day of your new life. These amazing people will help you through it all, just be honest and go by the rules. I’m truly going to miss every person I have dealt with here, especially my counselor and the young lady who did the front desk then became a counselor!!! I love them all! You won’t regret going to this clinic!!❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰

This is super long but please read it! If it helps one person it's well worth it. I have been a patient at Community Medical Services since 2013. The staff has always done everything they can to help myself and others in the most professional and empathetic manor possible. This facility is intended to help those who have substance abuse problems, transition to medically supervised medications that simulate street drugs in a way where you don't have to worry about overdose, poisoning and death. They utilize the latest substance abuse alternative medicines, allowing you to function on a day-to-day basis without wondering how you're going to make it/score that day. As well as, individualized personal counseling on a regular basis to help you with the problems and thinking that caused most of us to use drugs initially. They implement this process with extremely well trained Substance Abuse Doctors, as well as, certified counselors and staff that are with you for every step of the sobriety journey. Teaching you the basic tools to stabilize your life, so you can succeed, rather than end up divorced, in prison or on the streets. I honestly can't say enough about how much they've helped me over the past 13 years. I am so grateful for everyone in that building; from the front desk staff, all the way to the individuals in other departments, all who come together as a unified organization to give people in need a easily obtainable alternative to drug abuse. I walked in needing help, and they provided aid for me on my road to recovery. Eventually, giving me all the necessary tools to navigate life and make it's a life worth living. Where I once was lost with no way out, I now have own a business for over 10 years and raised a child who has never seen me intoxicated on drugs. I pray this reaches someone and you walk in those doors and get help.
