Excellent, prompt medical service. My wife was seen in the ER twice for unstable arrhythmias. Both times she was seen immediately, treated appropriately with professional and compassionate care. We have been to top rated University Medical Centers, and she couldn't have gotten better care than at IHS Crow/Northern Chyenne Hospital.

This place saved my life. I’m a successful person within the community thanks to them. Great goal, lots of studies back the methods they use. Kids will be kids, some won’t listen. But the ones who do become successful. Remember, it’s a TREATMENT facility. It’s not for fun. It’s difficult, but so is learning the hard way. It does have some flaws though. Staff accountability lacks slightly. Punishment system was a bit overwhelming. They might have fixed these though. Stress is different than safety. It’s not impossible. Nor is it hard if the kids apply themselves

I use to go here. The staff? IS AMAZING 🤍 I loved their work and how they helped me. They are a great place to send your child. I enjoyed it here. Yeah you have to follow rules and such. I KNOW a lot of KIDS don’t like to do that and that’s why they tell lies to their parents about this place but MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE? It was a great place.

Been to this place 2 times now, and let me tell you sending your kid here will make them worse. This place felt like a prison not a “treatment facility”. Most staff really don’t care, they don’t hear you out on things that is part of your treatment. This place is so depressing and I beg for you to not send your kid here unless you want them to be absolutely miserable.

I cannot say enough how fabulous the team working one evening were when I showed up with my son. He was in seriously rough shape very, didn't make it past the front door. Emt was called to get him to the hospital. The staff were truly amazing from how they treated my son in kindness, communicating with firm but soft tones. Tim went above and beyond to personally connect with my son as much as he could under the circumstances. He truly cared for his well-being. Tim negotiated for my son to be able to have a cigarette and calm down before he would let EMT help him. My son will be admitting it soon. If this is the level of care I can expect, I am deeply hopeful that my son will find his reason to get the help he needs. Thank you, Team. thank you, Tim. Amazing experience! I have just completed family week, visiting a family member and learning so much. I can not say enough great things about the staff or the program. We had a hiccup during our visit with our family member in treatment. It was taken care of in a timely, caring, fully supportive manner. I went for my family member, and I left learning about myself. I highly recommend that if you have a loved one or struggling yourself to consider Rimrock Foundation, my greatest thanks is to Polly for an amazing family program, Traci front desk for truly caring. And Melissa for going above and beyond for our family. Thank you, is just not enough.

I enjoyed every single program about this place while I went there. I loved all my teachers and wished I could stay there.. But I did have a friend that went there who had his knees slammed backwards for a restraint and broken by a teacher there. I'm now 40 and came to this place back in 1999. I hated being there but to be fair didn't have much to complain about. Bt time is been there 6ish months I didn't want to leave. I learn so much being there that I'm still grateful to this day. I earned freedom to walk the grounds unsupervised with permission as well as helping give tours to potential clients. I rode horses often did cattle branding of calves of course and did artificial insemination. I did small engines and wood working along with horticulture which were all a blast. There was a lot that happened in the dorms with the girls but what do you expect when you have so many girls with sick am array of issues. A huge part of getting something from these programs is if you want to. If your ready to get better. The staff members were all fabulous I can't think of anyone who I didn't like. I always felt genuine concern from them. I was even given the privilege to go off campus 1x a week to do gymnastics. I still to this day have small decorated box given to me as a gift upon leaving from a staff member named Marilyn. When you opened it it has a tiny box with a small now that says it was filled with her love. I'm not sure what has happened but, this place turned my life around and who know where it be today without it. So Thank you so so so much. Sorry for the delayed post lol.

YBGR was lowkey really nice, I loved it there. The food isn’t top tier but it’s a pretty good treatment place in my opinion. Sometimes there’s some stupid and scary stuff that will happen like fights, but it is to be expected in treatment. But I liked it and I felt it was useful in the long run. I struggled with some staff but I really loved my staff in my lodge. Also, you will get consequences/accountability's for not following the rules, but I think it’s a good thing set in place to hold people accountable. (I’ve gotten a bit of a fair share of consequences so it’s from experience). The place really helped my confidence and mental health without making me a med zombie. They have a Chemical Dependency program and AA to try to help kids who struggle with substance abuse issues and they have very kind counselors with CD. Cheryl was my CD counselor and I felt like she listened to me. Also thankyou to my PM Emily and my favorite day staff Marcos and overnight Zach! They did a lot for me then they might’ve realized. Honest, treatment only works if your kid wants to work it. You can fight it and be miserable, or you can try to participate. And if you do, you’ll likely get somewhere. Please don’t blame the staff and foundation for the outcome, treatment can only work if you have the desire to get better. I was in Shumaker lodge!! 24-25

Stayed here during my homeless time, and actually I found it OK for a crisis situation, I was actually more impressed with the staff and security. They are very friendly and you human, let you out for smoke breaks. Completely cool to talk to. Wish they had more funding and more space so you weren't all crammed together, but once I got cleared and checked out, they gave me my own little bed in a room for a couple days until I got myself settled in Billings. Content warning: This review contains mentions of domestic violence, panic attacks, and other sensitive topics. Review of the Crisis Center in Billings, Montana (2024-07-02) Introduction The Crisis Center in Billings, Montana is an organization that is intended to provide support and resources for individuals facing various crises, including homelessness, domestic violence, mental health issues, and substance abuse. However, based on my recent experience seeking assistance at this facility, I am deeply concerned about the level of care and professionalism demonstrated by the staff. This review will outline numerous issues I observed during my time at the Crisis Center, including a lack of compassion towards a domestic violence survivor, unprofessional conduct from staff members, inadequate communication about policies, and a fundamental disregard for the unique needs of marginalized clients. While there were some bright spots, such as the understanding shown by security personnel and the compassion of a particular counselor, the overall experience left me feeling deeply troubled about the center's ability to effectively serve the vulnerable populations it claims to support. Lack of Compassion Towards a Domestic Violence Survivor One of the most concerning incidents I witnessed during my time at the Crisis Center was the treatment of a fellow client who was a survivor of domestic violence. On the night of July 1st, 2024, this individual arrived at the center seeking refuge and support. However, rather than being met with empathy and understanding, she was subjected to a severe lack of compassion from the night shift nurse. The nurse's tone was described by other clients as "malicious" and "devoid of any warmth or concern." When the domestic violence survivor attempted to explain her situation and request assistance, the nurse responded with blatant indifference, going so far as to say, "If you don't like it, you can go find someplace else to live." This callous and dismissive attitude towards an individual in such a vulnerable state is entirely unacceptable and a clear violation of the ethical standards expected of healthcare professionals. Lack of Patience and Effective Communication Another issue that was repeatedly observed at the Crisis Center was the staff's lack of patience and unwillingness to engage in meaningful communication with clients. In particular, MEG, was noted for her tendency to overwhelm clients with information without allowing them sufficient time to process and understand what was being said. Many clients reported feeling rushed and frustrated, unable to fully comprehend the details of their cases or the available resources due to MEGs rapid-fire delivery and unwillingness to pause and ensure understanding. This lack of effective communication is a significant barrier to the center's ability to provide comprehensive support and empower clients to make informed decisions about their own care. Failure to Explain Policies and Procedures Closely tied to the communication issues, the Crisis Center was also criticized for its failure to adequately explain the rationale behind its policies and procedures to clients. When clients inquired about the reasoning behind certain rules or requirements, they were often met with dismissive responses, such as the aforementioned "if you don't like it, you can go elsewhere" statement This lack of transparency and unwillingness to engage in open dialogue undermines the center's ability to build trust and foster a collaborative environment. Clients deserve to understand the factors that inform the policies they are expected to adhere to, particularly when those policies may have a significant impact on their well-being and access to essential services.

At one time this nursing home had a reputation that made you question whether or not you should place a loved one here. I’m here to tell you that shouldn’t even be a question. My aunt came for therapy, a few months ago and was very reluctant to go. Now, she and my family couldn’t be happier. The staff is very caring, kind and respectful. There is laughter in the halls, there is a sense of pride in what they do, and they communicated very well with my aunt, and my family. I highly recommend Big Horn. It is clear they are going through some changes, but these changes have definitely served them and the other patients well.

I had the pleasure of working with the team at Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center in Sheridan about a month ago, and I was truly impressed by their warmth and dedication to the residents. The caregivers I met were not only friendly but deeply invested in providing quality care. You could feel the authenticity in the stories they shared, and it was clear that the residents are genuinely loved and well taken care of. During my time there, I filmed an interview with both administrators and employees, and hearing their passion for what they do really stood out to me. It’s rare to find a care facility where you sense such a personal connection between staff and residents. Based on my experience, I would wholeheartedly recommend Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center to my friends and family. If you’re looking for a place where your loved ones will be treated with compassion and respect, this is a great choice.
