This was the best treatment center I have ever been to. The staff are so nice. The nurses are working so hard. The support staff are the best. My LAC Susan was especially the best I loved her. I cannot say enough how fabulous the team working one evening were when I showed up with my son. He was in seriously rough shape very, didn't make it past the front door. Emt was called to get him to the hospital.The staff were truly amazing from how they treated my son in kindness, communicating with firm but soft tones. Tim went above and beyond to personally connect with my son as much as he could under the circumstances. He truly cared for his well-being. Tim negotiated for my son to be able to have a cigarette and calm down before he would let EMT help him. My son will be admitting it soon. If this is the level of care I can expect, I am deeply hopeful that my son will find his reason to get the help he needs.Thank you, Team. thank you, Tim.Amazing experience! I ended up in the ER and a five day stay in this hospital while visiting from out of state. I was on the Med Surg unit with Ryleigh RN a few of those days who was a very attentive nurse. My team of doctors were Dr. Sherlock, Dr. Agu, Dr. Mann and Surgeon Dr. McCoy an excellent team. I had excellent care at this hospital with only one night with staff problems. I am grateful, I feel Allah/God guided them in saving my life. May they all be rewarded. Ameen.

Left a review on here years ago and then have avoided here. Having said that, my belief now is that it must have just been a bad day. My Nurse today (Kelly) has been amazing, attentative and informative and I'm covered in warm blankets. Charge Nurse just as attentive. Radiology was wonderful as well. Thank you CHI ER. And EMS was top notch getting me here.

YBGR was lowkey really nice, I loved it there. The food isn t top tier but it s a pretty good treatment place in my opinion. Sometimes there s some stupid and scary stuff that will happen like fights, but it is to be expected in treatment. But I liked it and I felt it was useful in the long run. I struggled with some staff but I really loved my staff in my lodge. Also, you will get consequences/accountability's for not following the rules, but I think it s a good thing set in place to hold people accountable. (I ve gotten a bit of a fair share of consequences so it s from experience). The place really helped my confidence and mental health without making me a med zombie. They have a Chemical Dependency program and AA to try to help kids who struggle with substance abuse issues and they have very kind counselors with CD. Cheryl was my CD counselor and I felt like she listened to me. Also thankyou to my PM Emily and my favorite day staff Marcos and overnight Zach! They did a lot for me then they might ve realized. Honest, treatment only works if your kid wants to work it. You can fight it and be miserable, or you can try to participate. And if you do, you ll likely get somewhere. Please don t blame the staff and foundation for the outcome, treatment can only work if you have the desire to get better. I was in Shumaker lodge!! 24-25

I was a patient in this facility from 2015-2016. I m not a big fan of most mental health facilities but this personally benefited me greatly. The charity gave to the foundation actually makes it to the children. They also provided children with appropriate fitting clothes if they didn t have them.

This place saved my life. I m a successful person within the community thanks to them. Great goal, lots of studies back the methods they use. Kids will be kids, some won t listen. But the ones who do become successful. Remember, it s a TREATMENT facility. It s not for fun. It s difficult, but so is learning the hard way. It does have some flaws though. Staff accountability lacks slightly. Punishment system was a bit overwhelming. They might have fixed these though. Stress is different than safety. It s not impossible. Nor is it hard if the kids apply themselves

Dr Bakko I was referred to for administering multiple tests. As part of this he interviewed me and I am very poor at that. He helped keep me focused and many times had to patiently go back to probe deeper to clarify and really understand what I was saying. Because of my emotions, it s like a freight train driving through his office. He s gifted.The tests were administered in a very private, proffessional, clean, and quiet area. He is very organized and proffessional.He reviewed my answers and again made it very comfortable and open to discuss why I answered the way I did. I have had the pleasure of saying at the CCC many times for many years unfortunately but the staff there have always been nice to me and treated me like a human being they helped me stay focused and positive I love the CCC and the staff there

The team at the Crisis Center do a great job. They are often working at an overcapacity of clients, and they exhibit care and concern for the clients they serve. MarCee Neary, the executive director works long hours and leads this organization well.
