Our 17-year-old daughter spent time at Chrysalis Therapeutic Boarding School, and we are deeply grateful for the progress we witnessed during her stay. From the beginning, it was clear that the staff truly cared about each student—not just their safety and well-being, but their emotional growth and long-term success.
Her therapist at Chrysalis was exceptional. She developed a level of trust and connection with our daughter that none of her previous therapists had been able to reach. The therapist’s insight, compassion, and clinical expertise made all the difference. Turning Winds has been a life changing experience for our entire family! I was so worried about sending our daughter so far away, and for such a long time. It is a giant and frightening decision to send your child to a long term therapeutic boarding school. So, I am thrilled to be able to share with you that our daughter spent 8 months at Turning Winds, and it was the best decision that we ever made. It is a safe, supportive, comprehensive, family-oriented environment. Their 20 plus years of experience, incredibly dedicated staff, specialized attention to each individual and their choice of location in rural Montana has created a truly unique environment and opportunity for struggling teens to SLOW DOWN, evaluate the choices they are making, (ideally begin to understand why) , learn effective coping skills, to discover the reality that they themselves hold the key to creating a life worth living. Turning Winds is a co-ed facility; however, the boys and girls are kept primarily separated. Turning Winds is also a highly reputable therapeutic boarding school with a fantastic credit recovery program to help struggling teens get things academically back on track. My son has been struggling for years with depression, anxiety, and unhealthy online relationships. As a parent, I felt helpless watching him withdraw from family, fail in school, and lose hope. Sending him to Turning Winds was the hardest decision I've made but it was also the best one.
From day one, the staff surrounded him with compassion, structure, and genuine care. His therapist has been a true blessing-a strong, positive male role model who helped him understand his behaviors and rebuild his confidence. The teachers, nurses, and other staff completely transformed his life. He's now thriving in school, confident, and reconnecting with family. I'll forever be grateful to Turning Winds for helping my son find hope and happiness again. I can't thank them enough for their dedication, communication, and belief in their students. Ok... Let's start with the obvious and the easiest way to my heart .. the kitchen and the chefs... Yes I said chefs. The food here was the type that if you saw it on a menu at a restaurant you would think you couldn't afford it... It was literally that good. And the kitchen staff were an absolute joy.
Second... My treatment team... Dr. Sloan and therapist Katy.... I honestly cannot say enough about them. The facility is not funded nor designed for long term care... They not only understood my need for further care, they also advocated for a longer stay with my insurance as well as led me to pathlights program for further care in a php program in San Antonio. They went out of their way to facilitate and insure my transfer, acceptance and travel to the facility. I am now five weeks into my php and, although hard at times, I am finding the proper tools to deal with my PTSD and grief that logan health helped begin.
I will never be able to thank my team enough. As well as nurses like Stefan and others I can't remember their names. I would be remiss not to mention Kelsi... The logan health superhero. What she did for me on her own time and of her own free will and obvious compassion, went so far above and beyond her job description that it's difficult to convey with mere words.
For a man with no reason to live when I entered the facility.... I am beginning to see some light at the end of a very dark tunnel and I have logan health and my team and wonderful staff to thank for every bit of it.
I hope they will read this and understand the true scope of impact they had on my road to recovery.

My stay at RCM was incredible. The environment that I got to heal in was so important to me, living in cabins and being able to go outside whenever I wanted was very different for other rehabs. No locked doors, No hospital feel, No lectures. But I gained so much Information that I am still using today!!
The staff at RCM made all the difference! My case manager was kat French and she really was in my corner the whole time I was there, she made sure that my voice was heard and encouraged my completion every single day (even when I wanted to leave, she stayed with me until I was ok again.) That kind of compassion only comes from a person who really wants to help! My counselor was Jeff. this man made sure that everyone of my needs were met. Seriously- from ensuring that my Diabetic needs were promptly taken care of, to standing up for me when I needed some backing from professionals.
Lindsey made so.e of the most amazing meals for all of us, and she cooked with love, not for a paycheck!! The kitchen is the heart of every house and she absolutely made sure we felt welcomed and accepted without judgement.
All of the staff-from peer support to the med unit ladies to the intake lady and even the driver that drove me 7 hours from home, made me feel safe and accepted and worthy of recovery. Thank you so much for your efforts, I am still clean and sober today and now I am Assistant Manager at a faith based recovery home. I go to meetings, I have a sponsor, I work the 12 steps and I chair a women's meeting once a week.

When I was 24, my addiction to prescription medication had spun wildly out of control. So much so that I crashed my step fathers car I was borrowing into a lake and don’t remember a single bit of it. The next day, sitting in a jail cell, I told myself I had had enough. I have a friend that had gone to WTC so I called them first without even trying anywhere else and immediately knew this was the place for me. WTC and the counselors/staff that work there without a doubt saved my life. This place is fantastic, but don’t be fooled. If you go here, expect to work. It’s not sit around and watch tv rehab, you’re expected to do certain things and act certain ways. It sounds hard I know, but I promise you if you’re serious about getting help for yourself, even if you’re being forced by your parents to do this, please give WTC a chance. The work pays off 10 fold.

I attended WTC 3 years and 5 months ago, my first time trying out the sobriety aspect. This place saved my life and truly push me to change into the better person I am now. If I could comment on other people’s 1 star reviews. I would say. It sounds like those people were not willing to get sober. Making up excuses to make it sound like it wasn’t everything that it was cut out to be. Especially co dependent parents who comment saying not to send there parents to a place that will eventually help their kids out in the long run. All in all if you want to change your life. Go here, if you don’t. Then you truly haven’t hit your bottom in life.
I work in recovery now. Due to this program, my life has changed for the better and I have everything I could ever want to keep me happy in this life.

Sadly they have been shut down. 2 families sued them because their son’s ran away and were brought back by police. The boys were unharmed but apparently the families were angry enough to put them out of business. Very very very sad. It was a place that did a lot of good for a lot of people.

I've been at tamarack for a while now both with one on one therapy and alcohol treatment...it's a breath of fresh air, to have a place that not only understands that life happens and self care is important but that we are all imperfect in our own ways. They dig deep in getting to know you, your childhood - adult years to better establish the core beliefs and root causes of your issues. I highly recommended and also believe that every one star on this review is from individuals that probably didn't take accountability or personal responsibility for their own actions. I'm gonna continue with tamarack rate 5 stars.

All the groups are really helpful and I've really appreciated everything they've done for me. All the counslers truly want to help the clients and it's a great support system. I especially recommend if you're come straight out of rehab. They have a sliding scale and will help you with BPA funding if needed for the costs.

The counselors at Restored Paths are as real as they come, they are amazing! Elaine helped me through so much and when I needed someone even after I was done with my classes she has always been there for me! If you really need help and really want change in your life Restored Paths is where you want to go, they may not sugar coat things there for you, they give it to you straight up and for recovery that's what you need.
