Steps to recovery was a great program. The bhts were great and understood what I was going through with a lot of them being in recovery as well. As well as the therapists being well trained and met my needs. Overall a wonderful program that I would return to.

My treatment here was absolutely a success. I came here highly depressed with a negative outlook on life with zero hope. In combination with group therapy and individual therapy, my whole perspective was changed. I’m leaving here refreshed and ready for what life has in store for me. I’ve been with Provive for about a month or so now. I was having urges to drink myself into a blackout state. Been this way for about a week….I mentioned it in front of the house manager and nothing happened. Today was the worst of my urges. Accommodating staff, wonderful food, overall an amazing place to heal

This facility specifically has meant so much to me, my family, and my sobriety thus far. There is so much power in a place where sobriety can be found not only amongst the clients, but also the staff. Whether it's your first, or your 21st rehab, this is a place where you can find the knowledge and support to succeed. Of course, having amazing meals, clinical support, and in-depth groups only makes the experience that much better. I felt safe to open up and know my struggles would be met with intentionality and care. If you are debating which rehab is for you, I highly recommend starting here. Even living 4.5hrs away didn't stop Clearbrook from driving to get me and sharing their expertise and care. Take the step and see how these amazing people can change your life. You won't regret it.

St. Joes is an absolute paradise! Such a beautiful place to go and work on yourself. The staff are amazing and the treatment is so productive. They're pulling strings you may not realize to help you!! Thanks to St. Joes I've found me again. He was lost for a long time in the fog of a deep depression, masking that with substance use, I thought he was gone forever. Thank you guys so much for an opportunity to live again, not just exist. How do you describe a place that actually saves your life? It's something that's impossible to articulate. But I'll say it like this...the people that work at RCA Devon are angels. They care in a way that's hard for a non-addict or a non-alcoholic to understand, and it's because they know what it's like to be broken and lost like the patients that come through their program. I made more than a few trips there, and I was always welcomed with open arms. The facility is as nice and comfortable as you're going to find in any rehab in the Delaware Valley. I can never repay the people who work at RCA Devon. All I can do is pay it forward. If you're struggling with substance abuse or alcoholism go there, and you'll see what real compassion and empathy look like. I am forever grateful to the people who work there.

This was my first experience with a rehab center. RCA really made me feel welcome and heard. I left there with confidence that I would be able to continue with my recovery and have success. The alumni meetings and activities are so important and make me feel like I always have someone to turn to for support and encouragement. I had never been to treatment for my drinking before, and I was terrified. When I called Little Creek Lodge, I was in bad shape — one of the worst days of my drinking. From that first call, everything changed. Within 30 minutes my insurance was verified and I was on my way to detox. After detox, an employee from LCL came to pick me up, and the moment I arrived I felt a sense of relief. LCL follows a 12-step recovery process. I’m not religious — I used to call myself an atheist, and now I’d say I’m agnostic — so the idea of going to an AA meeting was scary. But what I found was nothing like what I imagined. AA at LCL is all about acceptance, community, and helping each other. There’s no judgment, only support. The facility itself is beautiful — cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The beds are comfortable, and there are more than enough bathrooms to make everyone feel at home. The environment is peaceful, which made it easier to focus fully on recovery. The food deserves its own mention. They have an actual chef (love you, Bob!) who trained at the Culinary Institute of America. Every meal was absolutely delicious — far beyond what I ever expected from treatment food. The staff is what truly sets Little Creek apart. Every single person genuinely cares about the residents. My counselor, Steve, was tough on me — exactly the way I asked him to be — and he pushed me to face things I had avoided for years. It wasn’t easy, but it was exactly what I needed. I also want to give a huge shout out to Goose (yes, that’s his name!), Mason, Dane, Allen, Meg, Dongo, and so many others. The nurses were incredible as well — always attentive, compassionate, and supportive. Another surprise was the activities. I’ve never been a “nature” person, but somehow I loved every second of it. We did yoga, horseback riding, archery, hikes, go-karts, kayaking, and more. It made recovery not just about the difficult work, but also about rediscovering joy and trying new things. The lodge is small, which I think is one of its strengths. It maxes out at 17 guys, and during my month there we averaged around 10. That intimacy made it easier to build strong connections with both the staff and other residents. As a gay man, I was also nervous at first, but I never once felt out of place. Even though I was probably the only gay person there, I felt welcomed and supported by everyone. They still call me 5 months later to check in on me. Proud to say I’m now 160 days sober today. I am beyond grateful for my time at Little Creek Lodge. They gave me the tools, encouragement, and community I needed when I couldn’t find it anywhere else. If you or someone you love is struggling, this is the place to go.

I've updated this review because I traced the issue down to the VBA as being the ones sending my SSN over the mail. They use it as my File# usually appearing right under my name. I requested it be left out of mailings to me, or not to include the whole #. I never registered with the VA after retiring in 2011 because a lot of bad things were on the News back then having to do with the poor service provided to veterans. However, this year I decided to register and I'm happy so far. The only thing I'm not happy with is that the VA back in 2011 and still to this day continuously sends all correspondence to me with my full name and full social security number. Like doesn't the VA know this is a big no no? Thanks for sharing my PII information with whomever receives any of my lost mail. And everyone knows nowadays that pieces of mail get lost a lot. The VA is a government agency, don't you all go through PII information safeguarding training? Like wow and this is why I couldn't give the VA a 5 star because apparently training is needed on safeguarding a veteran's personal identifiable information. Fix this issue or give veterans an option to receive all correspondence via e-mail versus snail mail.

Excellent service and personnel! I highly recommend this facility as well. And I also had my first experience with online nurse chat plus video today to diagnose a skin allergy; they are getting my prescriptions sent to Lebanon V.A. Pharmacy for pick-up today. Terrific! 5 stars.

I attended twice, Great facility, however I’m on my wife’s UHC plan through her employer,not Medicare. No problem with insurance the first time I went, however (going the 2nd time) they are trying to say I’m on Medicare. I called UHC and nothing has changed in my coverage. Trying to charge me 15,000. What’s going on? Also once there ,they) Siver Pines) wanted out of pocket money(cash,Cc card) they never asked for that upfront either time. They even checked recorded call. I’m very dissapointed with billing. Put a “sour taste”on my experience

I'm truly happy and grateful that I got to come to Silver Pines. I had my reservations seeing as I don't suffer from substance use addictions but I chose to come here for my mental health. For the downsides: there's a 14 day blackout on personal electronic use unless you get approved for important things like calls, bills etc, but I needed that time to disconnect. You'll also be woken up in the middle of the night by the behavioral health techs doing their checks , and if you're unlucky you might get a roommate that's messy or snores. The BHTs truly do care about you and want to help you on your recovery journey, they've all been truly stellar to me, especially Will. The therapists are very compassionate and helpful in processing your issues, my thanks go to Alisha my personal therapist, Deidre, Zack and Jesus especially for helping me so much. The kitchen staff is full of hard workers who make great food and they're so kind, especially miss Dre, who cares a lot about your nutrition and if you have any dietary restrictions or eating disorders. Angie the janitorial worker is always working her butt off and I appreciate her so much. The nurses are bubbly and delightful and cared a lot for me, especially both Karens, when I was struggling to settle in. There's meaningful and helpful resources for helping yourself or those who struggle with SUDs, there's great aftercare as well with the alumni coordinator Jenn, and they're always willing to accept feedback and address any concerns you may have. My only complaint is that there's probably only 2-3 LGBTQ+ groups a week, which is a HUGE boon but may make it harder for those who aren't openly out to process their struggles with identity and their SUD/Mental health. Other than that, I'm hoping that if you or someone you love and care about needs help with any sort of addiction, you can come here. There's a truly loving community here who'll support you and share their hearts with you. Thank you Silver Pines for helping me on my recovery journey.

This is the best rehab I attended and has been my last. First time I even felt sad after leaving because I made so many great connections with staff, nursing, and the community. Cooks are extremely skilled and provide the greatest food you will get in rehabs. There is a desert and savory treat made every single night and theres always numerous snacks to pick from. The nursing staff is the greatest staff of all time they should honestly be awarded somehow. Everyone in the staff there is just amazing and they always foster a connected community. Counselors are super chill and knowledgeable about addiction and thoroughly aid you through the process. After the rough detox beds you are moved to the residential side. The Beds and Pillows on this side are super comfortable. They allow you to use your phones quite often and take care of emergencies through your phone typically without a problem. I could honestly go on forever talking about my amazing experience. If you need help please come here you won’t regret it for real.

They are very good people there

I was on the psych unit for a few days and the staff was always attentive and compassionate with me while I was struggling. The one staff member, Logan, gave a really great group about depression and he helped me feel comforted when I was feeling really bad about certain things. Alex helped me feel understood and I could relate to him, he never made me feel like I was left out or awkward. I didn't get the other two RN's names (horrible memory) but they always came in a pair and whenever I saw them, I instantly felt at home and relaxed. Incredible staff who genuinely care about what you're struggling with and help with accomodations for your needs. (The one RN gave me fidget toys because I needed a distraction and they're still in my pocket everywhere I go) Thank you so much to the amazing staff and doctors who treated me while I was there, every single person on the 5th floor unit was incredible in their own ways, extremely grateful I got to work with such a terrific team!

My father was in the ICU this past February. The staff was great! Our nurse, Dan, was so kind and helpful. He even comforted me when I broke down when we finally made the decision to take dad off life support. It's not often you find a staff member that cares as much as he did. His kindness was much appreciated. The doctor was very informative and explained my father's condition in terms we could understand to help us make decisions about his care. While dad was in the ICU, his wife was also admitted on the 7 tn floor, she has dementia and dad was her care giver. So they took care of her while we tried to figure out where she could go after dad passed. My 95yo grandmother was also admitted at the same time on the 6th floor. Every staff member we dealt with was amazing. From the nurses to doctors to the clergy. When my dad passed they didn't rush us out. Let us take our time to say goodbye and grieve. That was so appreciated. Highly recommend this hospital.

Huntington Creek Recovery literally SAVED MY LIFE! I had the best experience here, from the scenery to the absolute PHENOMENAL staff...the only regret I have is not going sooner. I still have some work to do, but HCRC gave me the guidance and support I needed to build the foundation for a HEALTHY, HAPPY ME! Incredibly grateful they had faith in me when I had none!

This place was amazing 99.9% of the staff actually cared like frfr cared.... Gary,John& Michelle, Ryan, JohnG, they are BHA's they are amazing and really know what they are talking about and most definitely are not there for the money but to see to it that people get the best treatment possible so that the people can do their best in recovery, James was my counselor and he to was also amazing. Ashley was another amazing counselor that I got to work with..... all of these people have beautiful personality's and will go outta there way to make sure that you are successful. And Kevin was part of the leadership there and he is extremely fare all the way around and everytime I needed someone to talk to I could go to anyone of those people that I listed I recommend this place to the next person 1,000,000,000% no jokes

I recommend this place for all the honest energy. I went back in April 2023. I can grateful say I have not returned to old habits. They were very informative and clear with their message. I thank god I was sent to this place my life has changed for the best.

My experience in December of 1985 was one of the best things to ever happen to me. I learned one of the biggest eye opening thing, that the first drink gets you drunk. I had experimented many times to see which drink got me drunk so I could stop before then. Imagine my surprise to find out if I didn't have the first one, I wouldn't have gotten drunk at all. This December 16, God willing, will be 40 years sober for me. I can't express my gratitude enough for the Caron Foundation. I also remember Rosie. Thank you for giving me the tools to have a great life ever since.

If your serious about getting help and your insurance covers / you can afford!,, Caton is the best Rehab! It's only the beginning. Their staff are top - notch! The facilities are nice, much nicer then many other top places! The food is too good honestly! And they give you a ton! The classes and gym are all excellent! The clinic being on campus is a great relief too! The medical staff is always there to help! Detox went very smoothly. Tge best part is you don't leave Caron, Caron never leaves you. And their Alumni is fantastic, the retreats, and other programs the offer just continue to support you on your journey! Can't say enough b love Caron! !

In May of 2010, I arrived at Wernersville, PA, via intervention. I would later realize, all of the seeds were planted during my time at Caron and I finally learned about my disease and about the chemical makeup of my brain when using. I wasn't ready after my 30 days. However, on June 25th, 2017, the miracle happened. Caron laid the foundation at my feet. Magic mountain is real and very a spiritual place. The facilities are very clean, good therapists and doctors, and a great overall team. I will be forever grateful of the gift I was given to attend Caron's 30 day inpatient stay. FYI..This included 3 days in their detox facility on site. The detox staff were truly compassionate and loving. Exactly what I needed after years of using and untreated mental health. I’ve been here three times. It’s an amazing place the last time I’ve seen a lot of growth in the recovery process there. This place has saved my life anybody looking for a substantial recovery and an endless family that will never leave you behind. This is the place that you wanna be at with an amazing alumni group Where everybody cares about each other and our main purpose to share strength and hope

Where do I begin? Not only was this my first-ever rehabilitation experience, but it was also the most eye-opening experience I have ever had. I was uncertain about what to expect and, ultimately, I made the best decision possible. The staff, whom I refer to as specialists, made me feel immediately at home, and my counselor, Mike, went above and beyond in his duties. The facility offers numerous perks, including exceptional cuisine, impeccable grounds, and a spectacular overall atmosphere. I must note that the nurses are exceedingly polite and attentive to their patients' needs, although I did find it somewhat disappointing that doctor visits were limited to only once. Personally, I did not experience any significant issues during my stay, aside from one supervisor who, I discovered, was not particularly friendly to either patients or staff. One of the highlights of the facility is the presence of Monarch butterflies, which are hatched on-site. Deb, one of the specialists, consistently displayed a warm and welcoming smile that brightened everyone's day. Marworth offers a wide range of activities to keep patients engaged, as well as tailored treatment plans for individuals requiring additional support. I commend the facility on its outstanding work.

I went to Marworth for the first time after relapsing after about 5 years sober. When I went there I was a wildly unpleasant person to be around. I hated the world and myself. I was truly terrible to most of the staff. My behavior was argumentative, smug and mean at best. They still welcomed me back 3 more times. I was eventually given Amy as my primary counselor and, she not only took the time to try and understand why I was like that but, she also challenged me to be better. Over my time there I had the chance to get to know the staff very well. They're good people. Who genuinely want to help people get to the life they're meant to have. The specialists, rec team, cafeteria workers,house keeping,security(the list goes on and on)are wonderful. That's what makes Marworth great. It's not the amenities. It's not the rock climbing wall, gym, cafeteria, or anything else you can think of. It's the people that make this place what it is. Is it perfect? Absolutely not, but nothing is. When I went in there looking for all the things that bothered me, I got nothing out of it. When I allowed them to help me, I got everything out of it.

Twenty years ago, I went through a crisis involving addiction that had catastrophic implications for my family. While my loved one was at a nationally acclaimed residential treatment program, and I had confidence he was getting the help he needed, I felt lost, alone, left out, ignored, and in the dark. I had almost no communication with my loved one or his therapists. I remember going to an in-person educational seminar at the facility, where we learned about addiction, but had no personalized information about our person or situation. Now I’m walking this journey with my daughter, whose loved one is in residential treatment at DreamLife. At intake, she was given a packet of information that included links to family sessions that were held over Zoom six times a week for a total of 10+ hours! We both jumped in the first week, and even in the early days of this crisis, when we were emotionally reeling, we felt seen, known, informed, cared about, communicated with, and supported. Some classes are led by a recovered addict, who gives us an understanding of what life is like for an addict, how they think, and what their early recovery journey will look like, including how they might push buttons or manipulate their family members in ways that are counterproductive to their recovery. Others are led by the mother of an addict, who sensitively helps families understand the emotions and situations that we are thrust into, and how our well-intentioned efforts might sabotage their progress. Both have the objective of helping us to understand how our behavior contributes to enabling addiction, and to give us the skills and knowledge that will strengthen our resolve and ability to be healthy ourselves, and stop being naive participants in the circus of addiction. The family program at DreamLife is remarkable. The instructors are knowledgeable, articulate, and passionate when lecturing, and attentive, compassionate, kind, and wise when applying the principles to individual questions and situations presented by family members. The classes have a rotating ‘membership’ as there is always a mix of people who have just arrived and people whose loved ones are ready to come home or move to the next step in treatment. This creates a dynamic much like an Al Anon meeting, where we all benefit from hearing the facilitator talk about a particular client’s situation with their family, as well as learning insights from each other as family members jump in to share their own experiences. It also gives a very real sense that we are not alone, and even though we may never meet any of our fellow participants in the Zoom sessions in real life, we feel seen and supported by them. If you have a loved one at DreamLife and you have not taken advantage of the Family Sessions, then you are missing out. Anyone who loves an addict who is or has been at DreamLife is welcome. My daughter is learning how to live with her loved one in a way that supports his recovery and acknowledges that she has her own recovery journey, too. Living thousands of miles away, I am learning how to support my daughter. Without the opportunity to attend, I might feel helpless, and I would be ignorant about the disease of addiction and what it takes to commit to recovery. I might feel angry, rather than compassionate, as the behaviors that can look like willful, selfish, moral failures are actually symptoms of a neurologic disease that overrides the ability to live a deliberate, purposeful life. It appears that very few of the residents have a family member attending the sessions that we have found invaluable. This is such a lost opportunity to learn about addiction and to be informed about the progress of your loved one as they engage in recovery. Please consider this an invitation from someone like you, with nothing to gain. You will benefit, and we all will benefit from your participation. My loved one is currently in residential treatment at DreamLife Recovery in Donegal. As a family member, I give DreamLife five stars for their family programming sessions run by Curtis Rogers and Robin Miller over Zoom. These classes have been critical to my own parallel journey as I learn more about how to effectively support my loved one without enabling the addiction. I've developed new skills for how to recognize manipulation, set boundaries, and "wear my own hat". These classes have empowered me with the wisdom to recognize what is and is not in my control and the courage to make hard choices that are in the best interest of me and my loved one. Addiction is a family disease and it affects everyone touched by it. Because of the nature of the disease, it is often the family members and loved ones who need to change first in order for the addict to change themselves. I highly recommend that anyone with a loved one at DreamLife to prioritize attending as many of the classes as they can. The time commitment is worth it and you will learn so much.

It was great staff is awesome they truly care and want you to succeed. You get your own room,support from peers, freedom when you phase up,you can pick what clinical hours you participate in. It's a great program and halfway house. I would strongly recommend it in the future.

I am currently a resident here. All this is new to me… I really got lucky. I absolutely love it here. It literally feels like a big family, we are all so close… the employees included.
