Being a client at Paramount Recovery Centers, makes me feel dignified and like I have hope. The staff here are absolutely amazing and are willing to go to any length to help in any way they can. What a life changing experience! I have too many good things to say to list them all here. The buildings and the grounds are new and well maintained. The staff are all wonderful and go above and beyond for every client. I got to see first hand how hard everyone, frome the cleaning staff on up to the directors how hard they work for us and how much they care. The clinical staff are so knowledgeable and caring. I felt like everyone there was working on all my issues with such a drive and the highest level of competency. The recovery specialists do a food job of fostering a positive and safe group culture. I was especially impressed with Katie, who's commitment to the clients was demonstrated daily by her caring, upbeat, positive nature and willingness to go above and beyond for every client, all day, everyday. A big thank you to Katie and to Rose, Erin, Nikki and all the others who helped me change my life so drastically for the better in such a short 28 days. There are recovery centers out there doing good work and recovery centers doing great work. This place is doing phenomenal work. They help people make lasting changes in their lives. Thank you all!

This is a wonderful detox and treatment center! They will get you sober and give you the tools and resources that you’ll need to stay sober. Kind, caring, knowledgeable people (Case Managers, Recovery Specialists, nurses, food service staff, cleaning staff), nice, clean facilities, good food! Couldn’t ask for more. The folks at NERC truly care about you and your recovery. Special shout-out to Case Managers Sara, Tara, Brittany, Grace and Diana, as well as Recovery Specialists Pam, Gretchen, Danny, Nikki, Nikyrah, Esmeralda, Lauren, and all others whom I haven’t mentioned by name. Rose is an amazing family therapist. There are a lot of great, caring folks working here who truly want to help you! They also offer free, confidential family support through their Magnolia program. I was thoroughly impressed with the care and compassion of the staff in the detox program. I came here in May for my first time in treatment and wasn’t sure what to expect. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed — the facility is immaculately clean, the rooms are very comfortable, and the food is genuinely amazing. Most importantly, the staff truly care about your health, safety, and overall well-being.
They gave me the support, treatment, and tools I needed to begin my journey to sobriety, and I’m grateful for everything they did for me. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this place.
If it weren’t a detox facility, I’d say I’d 100% come back — but I’m not planning to relapse just for the visit!

This is gonna be a lengthy review but hopefully it’ll be helpful to someone. I always read reviews of detox’s before I go to them (sounds horrible, I’ve only been to 3 lmao). Anyway, I’m always so anxious for the unknown and scared, so I read reviews, these one were mixed. This place is an amazing detox. I have wicked bad anxiety and I felt so comfortable here. I almost didn’t wanna leave. I only went for detox but the people I met in those 7 days are friends for life. The case workers such as Kim and Mark are amazing people. They work with you. If you act like an asshole you’ll probably have a tougher time. If you show respect you’ll be given respect. The rooms are like a 5 star hotel, showers huge, 2 tv’s for each roommate with private headphones. Like 5 tv’s in different spaces around the building if you don’t wanna isolate in your room. The food was freaking amazing, shout out to the hard working kitchen staff. If they had a restaurant I’d go lol. The detox groups are short and sweet but that’s because most people feel like shit. If it’s nice out, they take you outside to chill, walk, play basketball, cornhole, etc. oh and shoutout to Treasure who was always finding a fun activity for us. They also have an art therapy class which was super fun. As well as reiki and yoga being offered. No other detox I’ve been to has offered stuff like this. Yeah it sucks not having your phone but it’s a time to focus on you. You get to call your loved ones 3 days a week. You really can’t beat that. I’ve been to detox’s where you don’t get to make phone calls. If you isolate in your room here, yeah your gonna have a shitty experience. If you work the program, it’s a great detox. Thank you Haven for taking care of me during my stay there. Hope this review helps someone decide, seriously as someone who gets so nervous to go to new places, so glad I went here. ❤️

I also meet with my clinician every 3 weeks. These services have made a huge difference in my recovery! They have many services and programs like intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient detoxification, dialectical behavioral therapy, Family Support Services, Parenting Groups, individual groups, family counseling, and dual diagnosis counseling. Just to name a few. Adcare Outpatient substance use treatment allows you to attend rehab programs while still attending to your daily responsibilities. They changed my life. I came into this program as an older woman, scared and unsure of what to expect. This was my very first time in treatment, and after coming from an inpatient program where I honestly felt like I was treated more like an animal than a person, I didn’t know what I was walking into. From the first day, the staff and clients made me feel welcome and safe. I wasn’t seen as just a diagnosis here, I was seen as a human being. That meant everything to me. The groups were supportive, the staff truly cared, and I felt like my voice mattered. This program gave me hope and reminded me that healing is possible at any age. I attended this IOP for dual diagnosis, and I can’t say enough good things. All the staff were incredible, from the director to the techs. The groups and therapists were supportive and truly helpful. I was there during a time when they were short-staffed, and they never missed a beat always making sure clients’ needs were met. Huge shoutout to Nick and Jodi, who really hold the place together and make it feel safe and welcoming. I’d recommend BHR to any family or friends struggling, this program truly makes a difference

Came off 170 mgs of methadone without any major problems. I slept, ate, and was overall content. Nursing and tech staff made the stay what it should be. I’m not really a taker but sometimes a smile from a random staff would get me out of the funk. They reduced my methadone 10mg a day from 170 until 20mg. I thought I would feel awful at 20 but the only problem I had was high blood pressure and sweating. All symptoms I could deal with. It’s detox! You’re not going to like everything about it!
Atlanta, Mark, Christine, Joe, JAMIE! No techs or nurses ever made me feel like I was a bother. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get off a substance. Especially methadone, in I feel 1000 times better without that crap in my body. I live in NJ, only one place would take my ins. The rest would only detox from methadone of a 30-40mg dose. Sunrise did not rush me and kept their word I wouldn’t receive surprise bills. They even didn’t bill me for things they should have. Shortly before I went there I was on a ventilator. I am Doing the work but this place helped get me across the line. If you complain here it’s your addiction talking. Has your addiction ever been correct with advice? Great place!

I've been at Merrick Street for nearly a year, and my experince has been truly amazing. Spectrum staff members are caring, well-educated and passionate about helping each client on an individual basis. The level of care far exceeds that of other programs. I started my 'journey' at Sisters of Providence in Holyoke, and (apart from my clinician -- who was amazing!), it felt like conveyor-belt-style care. Now, that was a 2-hour round-trip commute every morning, but Information about Spectrum (20 minutes away) was hidden from me (despite my inquiries) for months because it was a separate organization and they likely didn't want to lose me as a paycheck -- I mean patient.
Spectrum is the total opposite. It has changed my life. I wasted years fearing a program, and the stigma attached. But I realized-- since I was already dealing with the stigma of having fibromyalgia and chronic pain, it made no difference, and I needed to try -- for me. Since entering, I have met so many incredible people, shared and heard many incredible stories, and in a way, I am proud to be part of something so positive.

I ended up here because of my PCP. Normally I just got to the Brigham ,but my mom can't handle all the traffic. The ER wait was short. I was admitted but it took about 6-8 hours because of all the tests. The day Dr was amazing,nurse were exceptional, especially Adam!. Transportation was above Par standards. Thank you JAREL! He made me feel safe and secure. I'm still here and that's ok. Only complaint,the food. Not the best. Blah!!

I’ve been to the ER multiple times and my care was addressed in a comprehensive manner and a reasonable timeframe. When I truly needed emergent intervention, several people helped me at once and like it was second nature to them. The traffic and parking are much better too!

June of this year I went to the er at the w. Roxbury va hospital with issue with my feet. Come to find out if had diabetic related issues that resulted in me becoming a double amputee. The Dr's and nurses took great care of me. I'm still going through the healing process, but everything is going great. I have had a great experience with the va hospital.

We are from CT & My boyfriend went in for stomach surgery at the West Roxbury campus & as family members, we were housed in the Fisher House. Just have to say how absolutely stunning that place is. Clean, accommodating, fully stocked kitchen, the house manager was just an absolute Gem. We can’t thank the VA enough for allowing me to be by my boyfriend’s side, free of charge, while he went through this. It really helps relieve a costly burden.
The hospital & hospital staff were all great as well. We were helped by two older gentlemen at the front desk as soon as we entered who were just two rays of bright, sunny sunshine on a cloudy morning. all other staff was helpful, kind, & attentive as well.
As far as the hospital its self goes, the hallway bathrooms really need some attention. I’m sure some are cleaner than others, but oh boy…..
I also got stuck in an elevator by myself for about 4 minutes, never been so scared lol
All in all, The positives outweigh the bad ones here, so a 5star review from us !

I thought er was great and cardiac floor was great the only thing I didn’t like was the menu . It basically only gives you one option every day, which is ridiculous. I came to Good Sam's Same Day Surgery unit on Wednesday June 15th for a PICC line placement and first dose of antibiotics due to a severe case of Lyme Arthritis. Everyone, including the nurses in the cath lab were outstanding. A special shout out to Joan in SDS, who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Thanks
