Opening in 2021, the property has 22,000 square feet of space and offers a comfortable and discreet environment for clients to heal from their addictions. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping people begin their journey to recovery. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, respected, and cared for on a personal level.

If you are ready to accept help & want to make a positive change in your life you should definitely call them. I go to the Peabody clinic & it has been a great experience. Honestly I had no expectations I think except maybe I was just another number walking through the door & that has been the furthest thing from the truth. Everyone, I mean Everyone has been amazing. They care, I honestly believe that. They want to see you succeed in your recovery. When you walk in they remember you name, they are all very pleasant, which helps me so much going to a place that have a great staff. The security staff always smile & remember peoples names (incredible), the front desk are great, they are welcoming & funny, the nurses are always very pleasant & interact with you. I have the best counselor. She is amazing & so easy to talk to. She has been a rock for me in my recovery, I can’t say enough about her. I have interacted a bit with the head counselor too & she has gone out of her way to help me when she was slammed with work & it’s when I was new to the clinic. I really appreciated that. I just want to mention the director. She has been wonderful wherever I have interacted when her. She has been pleasant, calls me by my name which is impressive to me anyway because I don’t see her much, but she remembers my name just the same. That says a lot to me about the type of person that leads the clinic. As you can tell I am a big fan of the place. They have helped me tremendously in getting over this mountain that I have been struggling with for a decade or so. When I see some of these negative reviews I don’t think it’s how 99.99% of the people going there feel. Most people only write reviews to complain. This clinic has i believe over 600 patients. Honestly if you are having a bad situation where you are not happy it’s most likely because you messed up and are paying the consequences for your own actions. We are in this clinic to begin with because of bad decisions, bad roads we chose to take. The rules won’t change from the day you decide to join to your last day after you complete the program. If you take care of your end of the deal they will live up to their end. Even if you relapse they will be there to pick you back up, encourage you and stick by you as long as it takes. I give a ton of credit & really appreciate the work that these people do. If you want help, call .. they will help you like they have everyone else.

Reading, MA | They offer supervised medical treatment to safely manage withdrawal symptoms during detoxification, as well as flexible outpatient addiction therapy allowing patients to live at home while receiving regular treatment. Additional levels of care offered include intensive outpatient, 12-step therapy, and intervention services. Specialty rehab programs | Programs Payment Options | META changed my life, hands down. I was so skeptical going into the program, especially with a mental health focus instead of addiction. Now I wish I never had to leave! The staff instantly make you feel like you belong and you’re exactly where you need to be. I built my confidence back up and learned so many skill! The DBT approach was more helpful to me than any 1:1 therapy I had tried before. Building community and support in the group model was also very powerful. If you’re not sure about going, I’m here to say you should give it a try. You won’t regret it!

I was at a near breaking point with my mental health when I found Meta for a mental health IOP program. I've always been hesitant about seeking care with outpatient programs due to seeing friends who said the care made them feel worse. My psychiatric NP was worried because most facilities near me had waitlists of up to a month. I was drowning. Desperate, I reached out to one of their facilities who directed me to Meta, who took my insurance. When they say they can see if your insurance covers the care within an hour, they absolutely mean it. When beginning the intake process the staff was nothing but encouraging. By the end of the day, I already had the intake process started.
Beginning the program was fast as I was able to start immediately. Their NP team was so helpful with helping me file for PFML. You can attend in person or join on Zoom. This was such a relief as Meta is an hour and a half away from me. Meta provides the most accessible mental health program I have seen.
I also can't say enough about the care team. There's a blend of advice from people who want to see you grow. Groups are the best with Kayla's sharp insight and Liz's gentle guidance. Not only am I able to connect with my therapists, but others who are also seeking support. I'll be taking friendships with me when my time with Meta comes to a close. If you are on the fence about reaching out for professional support, come to Meta. It truly has been a wonderful experience.

I've struggled with my mental health for most of my life and always kept afloat one way or another, but Meta was the biggest turning point for me. I've felt so supported everyday while given an environment I felt safe in to heal. They've given me knowledge and coping skills that I will carry with me throughout my life. I'm very grateful to the Meta team and everyone I've met through them. For the first time since I was a kid I feel like I'm living and not just holding on.

There are women’s only programs, young adult treatment, LGBTQ programm | Treatments Programs Payment Options | This past summer I attended HRI's Women's Ascend program, and my experience was nothing short of being such an incredibly healing environment that instilled a newfound sense of hope at a time when I felt the complete opposite.
Vivian, my assigned Nurse Practitioner, played such an instrumental role in my healing journey, and I am so incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to have her as my Nurse Practitioner. She truly raised the bar of my expectations in terms of medication management as well as the clinical aspects of my mental health treatment. Being in her care allowed me to be a witness to a level of professionalism, advocacy, and empathy towards mine (and other patient’s) mental health recovery in ways that I hadn’t experienced with any NP/PHMP I’ve worked with before.
In addition, HRI's Ascend Program simply wouldn't be the healing space it is for women of color without the continuous arduous efforts of Alexandria as well!! On a daily basis, Vivian and Alex brought forth a level of representation that is so essential in successfully fostering a safe and encouraging environment for all the women of color at Ascend. I personally always felt so seen, so heard, and so cared for. I truly believe the progress I’ve made this summer serves as a testament to all of the hard Vivian, Alex (and the wonderful summer interns) had put in, day in and day out this summer. I am incredibly grateful, and for anyone - especially women of color - are looking for a healing space to truly dedicate healing towards your mental health- you've found the right place!!

The Ascend program was a wonderful, massively helpful space to receive support and care. I found community with people who have lived through and could validate some of my own experiences, and we learned from each other every day in ways that I never anticipated. We built concrete skills to help us manage our mental health needs, but we also met human beings who were cheering s on every step of our journey. I've very highly recommend this program to femmes of color who need support. You won't find a better group of people to guide you back to what it means to stand on your own two feet in this very complicated, very painful world.
This program would not exist without the massively incredible leadership of Alexandria. She is the most incredible clinician I have every encountered. She cares about the Ascend program and making sure that it is a space for for participants to learn skills, build community, and grow. She's an empathetic clinician both for the clients on her individual roster and the large group sessions as a whole. She knows the DBT skills backwards, forwards, upside down, with eyes closed, and with her hands tied behind her back. She has the ability to explain these skills in ways that are accessible for all types of learners and make sure that the cohort finds concrete ways to translate the skills into their personal life experiences. She's also able to do all of this while being an absolute tech wizard on the computer to make sure that community guidelines are followed on zoom, slides are shared, and validate the thoughts of feelings that participants share with the group all at the same time. There's no one else like Alexandria. She is the reason the Ascend program exists. And HRI is EXTREMELY lucky to have her on their staff. But more than that, the Ascend program participants have the privilege of knowing her.
Vivian is an incredible nurse practitioner who helps run the program. She maintains the culture of firm but empathetic care for the Ascend participants. She listens to everyone's daily challenges in addition to the chronic trauma experienced by her patients. When people need someone to listen to them 1-1 or check in about some of the group content they're learning and struggling with, her door is always open for a chat during breaks or over lunch. She's a wiz when it comes to thinking of medications at the drop of a hat that may help treat certain symptoms or support a patients' current medication regiment. And if a prescription isn't working, she's quick to think of other medications that can help. She cares so much about the wellbeing of everyone who walks in her office, and they are better off for it.

When I was young (about 4 years old) my brother (also about the same age) had autism and I had severe attachment issues with my mother. The Headstart program here, according to my mother, changed her life. She told me two weeks ago about how a social worker once arrived in her apartment and solemnly reported that she felt bad that my mother, a single mother, had to go through raising two difficult young children. But the people at Headstart were patient and took care of me when I was young. I still have fond memories of crying incoherently due to my levels of stress, but then being quietly reassured by the staff. I miss the people here. I will always be tearful when thinking about this place. They did so much for me and my mom. They were the sweetest people on Earth.

Can't thank director Jim Burns and my counselor Dave O'Reagan enough. They, and all of the staff there helped and guided me to a life worth living. I can honestly say they saved my life. I have built my life around the foundation they helped me with. I remain humble and am extremely blessed. Never forget that " But for the grace of God, there go I"

Five stars for our psychiatric nurse practitioner, Sharon Curtin. She has been wonderful from day one and has prescribed with insight and care and helped our child become himself again. Loss of star for the company policy - it is difficult to communicate with the provider between visits due to the company changing policy and providers no longer having a direct extension. Also, there is zero grace if you miss an appointment. Even though we had made every single appointment for a year and a half, we were billed $100 for the first (unintentional) no-show. It's the written policy, but some grace would be appreciated with a track record of reliability. The staff that manages refills and medication questions is great. They are responsive and communicative. Overall, recommend, especially Sharon. Just make sure you don't miss your appointment ever, and ask all your questions when you're with your provider.
