Hello I went in about 3:00am in extreme pain. Two great nurses on duty took me straight back. Within a short time I was feeling better. Thanks so much JDC Hospital and their great overnight shift.

The receptionist and nurses were very fast and friendly.

Well I was 4mos pregnant and was accepted to the program with a scholarship and I didn't really want to do it in the beginning but eventually I would be the one to get the thing stated. Lol.

I had to make a special call to give a personal "Thank You" to Executive Director, Dedria D. Black for her wonderful staff at the Harbor House Chemical Dependency Center in Jackson Mississippi. The staff there are Professionals, Supportive, Compassionate, Caring etc. Their treatment philosophy goes above and beyond to make sure that their clients get the very best care for their recovery. Whenever I would call they gave me updates on my family member and their recovery. I've had over 40 years experience managing and working hands on in customer service. Finding the perfect team isn't easy but they've managed to do just that at the Harbor House. I would also like to send a special "Thank You" to Mission Specialist, Mrs. Shirley, Intake Coordinator, Mrs. Kayla, Nurse Manager, Mrs. Morenik and Counselor, Mrs. Kim Curtis for going above and beyond. I know that my family member is at the right place getting the treatment and tools that they need to be successful in life. Don't change a thing. Great Service...

I initially gave this clinic a bad review. I was sick and couldn't get seen. However, once I got through the initial screening (this appointment takes some time). I found them to be extremely competent. And they care. They are a small clinic with few people and limited resources. But, they are VERY thorough. Be patient, they are under the control of VAMC Jackson. We all know how bad Jackson VA is (except our useless congressmen and senators, I suppose). My advice is as follows: 1. Get a clinic appointment. Try to get Dr. Bowling. She will get to the bottom of any medical problem. This lady is tenacious when it comes to her vets! 2.Sign up for myhealthevet. Once you make an account, upgrade to the premium account. It will say you have to send in a form for the premium account. Just call the 800 number and have the service person upgrade it for you. They're very helpful. This will allow you to order health records, check prescriptions, communicate with you're health team. In other words bypass the VA bureaucracy. Sorry for the long post. Hope it helps. August 2023 update. They've run off ALL their doctors! Go to VAMC Biloxi instead.

Stopped into the clinic to take care of paperwork today.

I thank God I started going to Region 8. They have helped me so very much. I did have a few therapist that were not the right fit for me, so I requested a change and now I have been seeing the same one for over a year and have finally started seeing improvement. Everyone there has been great. The front desk staff are not the best but you find people who are not that nice at any place. The people who are there to help in the back have always been wonderful to me.

I have been very pleased with my son's doctor and therapist at Region 8. His doctor doesn't just write a prescription. She thoroughly questions my son and me to ensure he is getting the proper medicine, dose, and the proper care. His therapist is absolutely wonderful. She has consistently, every two weeks, visited my son at school, at home, and even now during the summer, for several years now. My son's Region 8 doctor and therapist work as a team with me and his teachers to make sure that my son gets the best care possible.

Was a great treatment center

I was there. I was in a place in my life where I could not continue on the path that I was taking. The counselors helped me work through the things within me that chained me to a way of life that was really no life at all. It was more of a way of death. That was five years ago. I am still sober. That facility helped me help myself. I am grateful. If you are reading this then you or someone you care about is in a bad place in their life. I know the feeling of crushing desperation. Go. Go and follow the program. Like you, I felt like AA was a bit culty. Trust me, man, it isn't. Once I wrapped my head around the principles of it and reconciled those principles with my personal faith in God I realized what a good thing it really is. They don't want to run you. They don't want your money. They just want to help you. I absolutely recommend it. It saved my life. It helped me make my life worth living

I was in building 81 in 2015. Majority of staff was very helpful and understanding. I knew it wasn’t going to be great but I obeyed the rules and worked the program. I have been sober for four years and attend meetings weekly. I’m very grateful to God.

It's true about the food. It taste horrible and it's not enough. However , I do understand why the portions are small. An addict trying to get sober will very easily develop an addiction to food. So then you would only be swapping one addiction to another. As far as the treatment team , they were a blessing for me to have. I did get off of crack and stayed off after my stay in Whitfield. I was wanting the help. My counselors helped me get through painful experiences I had been through and helped me to view some things in a different perspective. So it wasn't the AA classes that helped me. In fact AA meetings would make me want to go get high. It was the treatment I got from the counselors and the therapist who helped me stay off of crack. God bless you Vickie Prosser , and Mr John and everyone of you who are there helping patients day after day. ALOT of people aren't going to write anything positive about Whitfield. You have to want the help yourself for it to work.

Unbelievably caring social workers. I am so blessed to have found them.

2 gentlemen came to my place of employment in Pass Christian this morning and I bought something from them to support the cause. As a recovering addict myself, I'm happy that I was able to help others like me. I think it's really great what you are doing and that you are helping others get clean.

The nurse practitioner is Very kind and patient evaluating every possibility to help someone the best way they can. Like most places they probably get super busy or behind at times, but that came with Changes with Covid. I see the results of Region8 patients almost on a daily basis. Anything from depression, anxiety, alcoholism,, bipolar, schizophrenia, and more mental health issues for adults and children than I could ever list. Thank you, Region8 and all of your staff for your presence in our community. I greatly appreciate everything you’ve done for everybody. I’ve known that’s been there as well as helping those that I do not know.

The ladies at the front desk are always friendly and extremely helpful. No matter what you need they always do their best to get it done. Very knowledgeable and professional.

I am new to the area, and was driving by, so I just pulled in. I was greated warmly and had the best service I have ever gotten in a va facility. I made sure I was set for here and actually got to be seen in 30 minutes. The doc and nurses were really interested in helping. The lab tech was super! I got appointments for further care. Thank you guys!

I am currently here in dismas charities and I would like to thank Ms grisham for everything. She is the director. Of the facility. And has help me out so much. In transitioning. Back into society. I love this place ms Gresham is a wonderful person they care about your well being and rehabilitation back into the world they make your reentry very easy the food is wonderful and the counselor actually care they stand for what dismas stands for

The staff are very nice people! They have Wifi, but they won't give out the password!! Also, on the children's side, the toys on the playground desperately need to be replaced!! I've been going here now for about 10 or so years, and have almost always had good experiences. ✝️🙏😊

Ever since I was a little kid since I was nine they have helped me out all through my life through my mental health problems with that being said they have the best doctors best nurses all I can say is blessed people blessed therapist and caseworkers with some beautiful Receptionist

Actually facilities was extremely clean n comfortable spacious kinda. You do have to share room n bathroom with 1 to 3 other clients. Facility extremely good at what they do. Food was fantastic. At times u feel like there should be more to do but in the end sobering up n dealing with issues u will be grateful for the rest. I would recommend this facility to others the staff helped me n cared about me I’ll never forget them. Not 5 star only cause limited smoke breaks! They hold your smokes and there are 9 allotted smoke breaks a day. Issues with getting more when u ran out even tho u had money with u n they could go to the store for shampoo for u but refused to purchase smokes n u would get punished if caught sharing
