I have family members that have been there and the staff were very kind and always helpful. The nurse practitioner is Very kind and patient evaluating every possibility to help someone the best way they can. Like most places they probably get super busy or behind at times, but that came with Changes with Covid. I see the results of Region8 patients almost on a daily basis. Anything from depression, anxiety, alcoholism,, bipolar, schizophrenia, and more mental health issues for adults and children than I could ever list. Thank you, Region8 and all of your staff for your presence in our community. I greatly appreciate everything you’ve done for everybody. I’ve known that’s been there as well as helping those that I do not know.

I am new to the area, and was driving by, so I just pulled in. I was greated warmly and had the best service I have ever gotten in a va facility. I made sure I was set for here and actually got to be seen in 30 minutes. The doc and nurses were really interested in helping. The lab tech was super! I got appointments for further care. Actually facilities was extremely clean n comfortable spacious kinda. You do have to share room n bathroom with 1 to 3 other clients. Facility extremely good at what they do. Food was fantastic. At times u feel like there should be more to do but in the end sobering up n dealing with issues u will be grateful for the rest. I would recommend this facility to others the staff helped me n cared about me I’ll never forget them. Not 5 star only cause limited smoke breaks! They hold your smokes and there are 9 allotted smoke breaks a day. Issues with getting more when u ran out even tho u had money with u n they could go to the store for shampoo for u but refused to purchase smokes n u would get punished if caught sharing

I attended Harbor House in Jackson in 2014. Pam Moore was my counselor. I am still clean today. It took me 5 rehabs until I was ready. I came to the area and spent the whole summer. I stayed for their secondary program. I was in really good hands here. I praise this place and will never forget this formative time. 10/10.

I had to make a special call to give a personal "Thank You" to Executive Director, Dedria D. Black for her wonderful staff at the Harbor House Chemical Dependency Center in Jackson Mississippi. The staff there are Professionals, Supportive, Compassionate, Caring etc. Their treatment philosophy goes above and beyond to make sure that their clients get the very best care for their recovery. Whenever I would call they gave me updates on my family member and their recovery. I've had over 40 years experience managing and working hands on in customer service. Finding the perfect team isn't easy but they've managed to do just that at the Harbor House. I would also like to send a special "Thank You" to Mission Specialist, Mrs. Shirley, Intake Coordinator, Mrs. Kayla, Nurse Manager, Mrs. Morenik and Counselor, Mrs. Kim Curtis for going above and beyond. I know that my family member is at the right place getting the treatment and tools that they need to be successful in life. Don't change a thing. My son has been in Millcreek a very long time and we are glad that we got him the care he needs, I just wish we had a place like this in Montana. So many children need this 24-7 care and it's sad that most states don't have a facility like this closer to home. I do appreciate the staff so very much and my son is doing great. I am very pleased with how much he has grown over the years by being in Millcreek.

My son has been in the residential part for kids with special needs for a year and a half now . He is a completely different kid now . He can do things I thought would take decades for him to finally do . He is taken care of and loved by the staff as if he were their own child . It’s the one on one staff and caretakers that make this facility so successful In what they are doing for our most vulnerable children . This facility is full of employees that have been working there forever , so they know the kids and they know their job . Everyone you encounter gives 110% plus some, to their job and their commitment to these children . They make it so that I as a parent able to sleep at night knowing our kid is loved , safe , and thriving . Millcreek in my experience is the gold standard of care for special needs children and should be modeled as such by other facilities like them in the country.

Many things have changed since 4 years ago. But I will say that Shelley, the RN finally got my meds at 5 days and my suboxone got lost somehow, and I was definitely taken back at how operations have changed, but the texts were pretty good. If I could, I would check 10 out of 5 stars. Defining Wellness was not the first treatment center I had attended, it was the fourth; two IOPs and a residential treatment center prior. I can't fully put into words the difference in the quality of care I received at Defining Wellness. I thought the first treatment center I went to was great and I made it a little over two weeks before I relapsed. I went to an IOP shortly after and had my first large period of sobriety and then, relapse. I made it about two weeks after my second IOP before I made the decision that I needed a higher level of care and was referred to Defining Wellness. The facility was super nice. 5 star luxury accommodations? Close, but the facility far exceeded my expectations. What made the difference and very literally saved my life was that staff. These people pour their hearts and souls into ensuring their clients are taken care of to the best of their abilities. In the 48 days I was there between detox, residential and residential PHP I never had the same class. I never experienced boredom from being told the same thing over and over again. Counselors took their personal time to speak with me if I had questions or just to talk to me to see how I was doing. The classes we had daily were well thought out and conducted by people that obviously had an intense passion about bettering the lives of others. I am days away from beating my "record" of the longest period of sobriety I've ever had and I owe every single day to the faculty of Defining Wellness. I would recommend this facility to anyone who genuinely wants to learn that they may have to live with their disease for the rest of their life, but they can live it without using ever again. I have accepted and am comfortable with the fact that I never have to drink again. Thank you to everyone at Defining Wellness for saving my life and allowing me to start the process of finding myself after 25 years of redefining my rock bottom over and over again.

Narcanon Louisiana is a safe haven. This is a place that can help you drastically change your life if that’s what you need. The entire staff has first-hand knowledge of what a drug addict is going through, and that carries a lot of weight toward rehabilitation guidance. The tactics used here are outside of the box, and they are teaching powerful methods of conflict resolution that can be applied in so many life situations. A person always has to be proactive in their own path in life, and this program shows you how to forgive yourself and move forward in a more meaningful way than previously experienced. I will be forever grateful to Narconon Louisiana.

I left Narconon in September of 2022. I am enrolled in school now with my own apartment, car, and healthy relationships with all my friends and family. Considering I came from about as rock bottom as it could get (broken hearted, socially despised, and facing felony charges), I have completely altered the outcome of my life with the help of these dedicated and knowledgeable staff members. This is a 10 star place! The immense knowledge I have gained from my student program, as well as nearly a year of staff work, has laid the foundation on which I have been able to start building a life I never thought I could achieve. From being a hair away from a bid in prison, to a high functioning and appreciative member of society, I share the wealth of knowledge I learned here with everyone who is facing conflict in their own lives. The program is not easy, and will force you to take ultimate responsibility for all aspects of your life. The unrivaled support and relationships you acquire here will last you a lifetime, but you have to first be honest with yourself. I don’t mean to put down anyone’s subjective experience, however, the one star views prove to me presence of an intense bias. Proof? Why are there no 2 or 3 star votes? How is something either 5 stars or 1? Contemplate that for a second like I have and you will come to the reasonable conclusion that those 1 star-raters have a strong emotional bias towards situations that they feel they were victim to. Bruce Steinberg has been an incredible asset in my recovery; I cannot say enough good things about him.
