When I got to Denton House, I was not ready to get sober. I was doing it because I thought I could stop drinking for a month and magically be "cured" of alcoholism. The counselors at Denton house are for the most part, people who have been addicts or alcoholics themselves and have recovered. Therefore their experience has depth and weight that you won't find a many rehabs at ten times the price. If you are ready a willing to go to any lengths to get sober, then this rehab will give you a chance to do so. Don't expect to be pampered or not have to put in the work. Denton House is clean and is full of people who have hit bottom and are willing to help. I finally got sober a year and a half after I left Denton House. I owe them a debt of gratitude for helping to plant the seed that eventually got me sober.

But I will say that Shelley, the RN finally got my meds at 5 days and my suboxone got lost somehow, and I was definitely taken back at how operations have changed, but the texts were pretty good. If I could, I would check 10 out of 5 stars. Defining Wellness was not the first treatment center I had attended, it was the fourth; two IOPs and a residential treatment center prior. I can't fully put into words the difference in the quality of care I received at Defining Wellness. I thought the first treatment center I went to was great and I made it a little over two weeks before I relapsed. I went to an IOP shortly after and had my first large period of sobriety and then, relapse. I made it about two weeks after my second IOP before I made the decision that I needed a higher level of care and was referred to Defining Wellness. The facility was super nice. 5 star luxury accommodations? Close, but the facility far exceeded my expectations. What made the difference and very literally saved my life was that staff. These people pour their hearts and souls into ensuring their clients are taken care of to the best of their abilities. In the 48 days I was there between detox, residential and residential PHP I never had the same class. I never experienced boredom from being told the same thing over and over again. Counselors took their personal time to speak with me if I had questions or just to talk to me to see how I was doing. The classes we had daily were well thought out and conducted by people that obviously had an intense passion about bettering the lives of others. I am days away from beating my "record" of the longest period of sobriety I've ever had and I owe every single day to the faculty of Defining Wellness. I would recommend this facility to anyone who genuinely wants to learn that they may have to live with their disease for the rest of their life, but they can live it without using ever again. I have accepted and am comfortable with the fact that I never have to drink again. Thank you to everyone at Defining Wellness for saving my life and allowing me to start the process of finding myself after 25 years of redefining my rock bottom over and over again.

I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for the team at Stonewater Adolescent Recovery Center. From the moment my son arrived, he was met with compassion, structure, accountability, and genuine care. Over the course of 90 days, I watched my son who felt lost begin to rediscover purpose, confidence, and hope again. The staff not only supported him through recovery, but also supported my family through one of the hardest seasons of our lives. Every therapist, mentor, staff member, and peer played a role in helping him believe in himself again. The level of dedication, communication, and compassion shown here is something we will never forget. Recovery is a lifelong journey, but Stonewater gave my son a foundation to continue building on, and for that I am endlessly thankful.

As parent’s we were terrified, but choosing Stonewater was the best decision for our son. We spoke to the owners, The Fikes Family, from the beginning and they truly guided us from the beginning to the end. They have lived through addiction so they know the pain and they have followed the process themselves. So they personally have seen the process work. The staff truly cares about adolescent boys and their recovery. They treated our son with dignity. The counseling staff is so supportive and caring. They are wonderful at tough love. Our son was not so kind to his therapist in the beginning but she stood by him and they became the best of friends. He trusted her so much by the end. The RA’s and other support staff love their jobs and give so much of themselves to support those in recovery. The family program helped us heal and understand the process. We would highly recommend Stonewater to any parent looking for a compassionate, safe, and structured environment for their son. We cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for giving us our son back. I attended Harbor House in Jackson in 2014. Pam Moore was my counselor. I am still clean today. It took me 5 rehabs until I was ready. I came to the area and spent the whole summer. I stayed for their secondary program. I was in really good hands here. I praise this place and will never forget this formative time. 10/10.

I had to make a special call to give a personal "Thank You" to Executive Director, Dedria D. Black for her wonderful staff at the Harbor House Chemical Dependency Center in Jackson Mississippi. The staff there are Professionals, Supportive, Compassionate, Caring etc. Their treatment philosophy goes above and beyond to make sure that their clients get the very best care for their recovery. Whenever I would call they gave me updates on my family member and their recovery. I've had over 40 years experience managing and working hands on in customer service. Finding the perfect team isn't easy but they've managed to do just that at the Harbor House. I would also like to send a special "Thank You" to Mission Specialist, Mrs. Shirley, Intake Coordinator, Mrs. Kayla, Nurse Manager, Mrs. Morenik and Counselor, Mrs. Kim Curtis for going above and beyond. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS. I have friends who work here, and I’ve seen firsthand how much they genuinely care about the veterans they serve. Many of the doctors, nurses, and support staff go above and beyond every day, often under challenging circumstances, to make sure veterans are treated with respect, compassion, and dignity. After completing residential treatment I decided to continue my recovery at Resolutions. It was probably the best decision I've made in years. The PHP and IOP programs here are top notch. Case Management: Shaniya M., the case manager, is absolutely phenomenal. She makes sure no one ever feels left behind. Before you leave, she works closely with you to build a real, solid aftercare plan. Her support, her follow-through, and her genuine care are unmatched. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and set up for success. Her guidance is priceless. Therapists: The therapy team at Oxford is something special. Each therapist brings their own unique energy and expertise: • Brandon connects with clients on a real level. He brings humor, understanding, and relatability to group sessions, making difficult lessons easier to absorb. • Cekeidria “Kiki” is incredibly detailed and gets straight to the core of what needs to be addressed.
