I am so happy to say this place works if you’re willing to get clean. I wouldn’t be where I am today if wasn’t for the wonderful staff and counselors. This place can save your life from the mistakes we make. I seriously cannot begin to describe how happy I am with this place and how grateful I am. The program focuses on enthusiast sobriety and teaches kids that life can be fun and fulfilling when you are working together on the 12 Steps. The staff are some of the best people we have ever worked with and we have tried a lot of mental health and substance programs in the past. This program saved our son’s life and the parent support has taught us so much about raising a teen to become a responsible adult and how to deal with substance use in a healthy way. People drive from all over the area to join the group and it’s no surprise, there is no where else with this type of support.

The Pathway Program saved my daughter's life. She was completely out of control and abusing drugs and alcohol. She was getting in trouble and hanging out with the wrong crowd.
The first time I brought her to the shop, all of the counselors and kids welcomed her with open arms. She instantly had clean and sober friends her age that she could relate to and have fun with. The kids hold each other accountable and are a huge support to each other. They are together almost every day and provide the vital friendship needed to succeed in recovery.
The Pathway Program is not the typical outpatient program where you attend during the day, but then are alone at night and on the weekends. Two week nights a week the kids are together doing recovery related groups. On the weekends the kids do all kinds of different activities and learn how to have fun being sober in real life. This is part of the aftercare part of the program.
There is an excellent parent support group once a week with parents that have been through it all. The parents are so supportive and I was able to call them anytime of the day or night with any questions. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about addiction and connect with the kids extremely well. They were also available anytime to help with crisis situations and offer support.
I feel so blessed to have been able to get my daughter the help she needed through The Pathway Program. It has changed both of our lives for the better and offered us hope for the future. I would highly recommend this program for any teens or young adults that are struggling with addiction.

Toxic environment, toxic employees, outdated management, ridiculous rules. Do not care about the program or the people the program is supposed to help. Oh where to even begin. The main issue I saw within Vitality was the lack of professionalism. Staff would talk poorly about other clients to other clients, share their night out plans and talk about drinking. The staff had zero effective communication with one another. You were called out in front of the entire clientele about any flaws. The female staff tend to favorite the male clients and show flirty or inappropriate behavior towards the males. The cooks had a very very poor attitude, asking simple questions and being shut down almost immediately. Absolutely no structure, one thing people with addictive personality’s need is structure. Going to back to lack of professionalism- a counselor word for word said “well I have the right to say what I feel and I could go to a client and say another client is a piece of s*** and I have a right to say how I feel” but if a client has any behavioral issues, even “expressing how they feel” that client is removed immediately.
Prior to graduating the program, the clinic does a “coin out” where you receive a coin with the serenity prayer on it and everyone in the group can put words of encouragement into the coin, I was told by staff that you can take that coin, go literally next door where there’s a sports bar, turn in that said coin to the bartender and receive a free drink. To me it seems as if the staff could care less if you recover or not, they’re getting a pay check regardless.
Now on a personal note, I was assaulted during my stay and the lack of empathy and regard that the staff shown was utmost disrespectful, the other client left on their own terms which seemed to “solve” the situation. It was kind of a weird situation to begin with but I was extremely uncomfortable.
The counselor I had at the beginning had absolutely no emotion when I would express my feelings or emotions to that person, it was as if I was talking to a wall, no empathy, they seemed to simply not care what I had to say.
I’m not sure if it was staffing issues which seems to be an excuse for most company’s but I do not recommend this place to anyone. It felt as if it was High School all over again but worst.

I recently brought a friend into your program who was in dire need of help, and I want to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible care he has received. From the moment we arrived, I was absolutely impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and compassion shown by your entire team.
Starla, who was assigned as his counselor, has been nothing short of amazing. She goes out of her way to make sure he feels comfortable, and she truly takes the time to connect with her patients in a meaningful way. Her dedication and empathy have made a world of difference.
D has also been incredible, except her being a Cowboys fan, she is very supportive, kind, and always present. And the doctor caring for my friend has provided outstanding attention and compassion throughout his treatment.
It is clear that everyone at your facility truly cares. It shows in the way they listen, support, and treat each individual with dignity and respect. I am deeply moved and so grateful for the care my friend is receiving. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you are doing so my friend can live a long healthy life!

I wake up happy to drive to work at Azure Acres Recovery Center, and I leave each day with a deep sense that I have made a meaningful difference. As a therapist, this environment is both grounding and expansive. The collaboration with psychiatric, medical, case management, and behavioral health teams—including the CEO and especially our Clinical Director—is rooted in trust, grace, and the freedom to create programming that flows from your authentic clinical voice.
What makes Azure Acres exceptional is its balance of soul and structure. You are supported to facilitate groups in your area of expertise, with a manageable caseload that honors the depth of individual care. The residential setting allows for something extraordinary—bearing witness to daily transformation within the therapeutic community, far beyond what weekly sessions in private practice can offer.
We also hold a broader view. Our work is part of a larger ecosystem that includes corporate insight, insurance partnerships, the Department of Rehabilitation, and a new community-wide commitment to recovery and renewal. This convergence creates momentum for real change—inside and out.
There is a strong culture of professional development, with continuing education in Brainspotting, ACT, DBT, and IFS, and mentorship that supports clinical and leadership growth. Azure Acres is not just a treatment center—it is a living community of compassion, integrity, and purpose.

Azure Acres saved me. It mended me and gave me back myself, the true version of me that I had long lost to alcohol. I was beyond being able to help myself, but they were able to help me. Going to Azure Acres was likely the best decision of my life. It repaired me as a person, in turn allowing me to heal my relationships and build a future I couldn't see before. You will learn so much about addiction and yourself. I now have over 3 years and 7 weeks of sobriety without so much as a hiccup. The staff are incredibly caring and passionate about their jobs. New Bridge offers an exceptionally talented team of, staff members, addiction specialist, and clinician's who've helped me address my co-occurring substances and mental health issues. The New Bridge environment (residential treatment facility, & extended satellite sober living environment), are safe and clean, and provide the type of space where I was able to successfully focus on, addiction & mental health curriculums, group therapy, as well as personalized "one-on-one" therapy/counseling sessions. Additionally, the treatment facility environment is supportive of "peer-to-peer" feed back & coping skills, "focus" and "affirmation tools".., all (to which I found) have great value in early recovery...!
What I enjoyed most about New Bridge is the dignified and professional way each staff member treated me, and treated me as valued (from the newest staff member, to the kitchen staff, to nurse staff, maintenance staff, the on-site doctors, to group staff, the clinical coordinator staff, the assistant director, up to the director). These staff members, all, display a "real human" level of authenticity and care...! I'm truly happy that I chose New Bridge..!!!
I will offer this thought to anyone who is wondering if this is the right place, or not..., "if you have a true and real desire to gain recovery, everything you will need to assist you, to help you focus, guide & support you in the process of recovery.., can be found at New Bridge..!!!" I highly recommend this amazing treatment facility, and hope you do not waste another second deciding on when to start your "road to recovery" at New Bridge - because it starts the moment you say "Yes"..!!!
