Advanced DUI & Counseling is by far the best counseling services for substance abuse counseling and DUI school in the state of Nevada. The staffing is amazing and very helpful. As soon as you walk into their office you know that you will get the help you need. Many of God's blessings, health and life to the staff and all who support them. they dont take the students seriously and refuse to believe genuine requests for mental and emotional help. The directors lie to parents and will do or say anything to keep kids there as long as possible to collect as much money as possible.

Step 2 and staff saved my life. They were the only ones who ever took the time to listen to me, believe me and show me a way of life that is effective. I was loved genuinely. I've been straight , except a few hiccups in the first few months. When I get the urge...I think about Karen when she says "play the tape". When I get emotional about my trauma, I think about Alyssa and being immediately mindful by smelling and applying lavendar. I make my bed by request of Katy, which shows stability and consistency. I lay down on my couch when I feel a panic attack coming like CJ taught me. ( my daughter still asks about CJ). I spent holidays with ladies who wanted to see my succeed. When I get triggered I question why and try to figure out why, as opposed to getting hammered. See... things happen to all of us... and it's ok to feel. I think that was one of the biggest things I learned. Essentially life is ok. It's going to be ok, it is ok, it was ok. And in case anyone's asking...we are doing well. I got my real estate license. To everyone that worked there, thank you so much for believing me and believing in me. Thank you much more for teaching me those things weren't my fault. Thank you so much more for making me into a force to be reckoned with... because I will pass that onto my kids too. I luv all yall - christy

Amazing program with a lot of really amazing staff members who are extremely caring and understanding I took advantage of the anger management classes as well as parenting classes my favorite and most helpful education course they provided when I was a resident that I use in my daily life was the communication a d boundaries class, it helps me build stronger healthier relationships and put and end to any toxic one that would potentially be hazardous to my recovery, I showed up there with nothing. Within 8 months of successfully completing the program without deviating I was able to clear up my out standing court cases, got my license back! a steady job! A vehicle! My teeth fixed! They took my to my dental appointments. I now have a beautiful smile and my confidence back as well as my self respect and able to get past my barriers and start accomplishing my goals, and building my relationships I ruined and repairing the bridges I burned.

I loved this inpatient program. Great staff, great people and community. I learned so much and was given all the tools to maintain the best version of myself. But that director lady, holly toledo! She Makes Cruella Deville look like an angel! So bitter and angry. I would expect someone in her position to be way more welcoming, understand, and non judgmental.. For all you people who are looking to get into an inpatient program, if you call PH and she answers, hang up!! Yikes…

My family member had an evaluation by her. She was very detailed and the evaluation took about an hour. I think the reason people are giving her bad reviews is because she is a good judge of character and can tell if she is being lied to. Because that’s what she is professionally trained to do. And as far as her “making money off people with substance abuse issues”.....it’s a service, it’s not going to be free. And it shouldn’t be cheap just because you have a drug problem. Take some responsibility for your actions that landed you there in the first place.

Dunno why people are giving her such bad reviews, especially this review: "People dying from drugs. This place and drug programs make money off someone trying to save their lives." Uh yeah, that's how SHE MAKES A LIVING. Sounds like this reviewer has boundary issues and wanted something for nothing. Doesn't work that way, buddy.
I received some good advice from her the one visit I had. Some advice that has helped me make changes that have helped keep me away from booze for awhile. But if you go to her, be prepared for a full assessment/evaluation. She will pull no punches and give a straight report...

She seems bitter, went in for an alcohol evaluation and for a first and second offense dui, she recommends 3 years of 3 paid classes a week and 3 AA CLASSES. Literally the maximum you can get and I have a baby due in 2 months. Lol she is not worth spending the $100 to get an evaluation from. Recommend finding someone else to do your evaluation.

This place does not have employees; it has angels from heaven. Robin and the other staff were attentive, caring, and lovely beings who help many people come out of a difficult place stronger. As I drove into a sunset recently, this song that I had added to my playlist thanks to Robin came on, and it rang true.

Okay let's start from the beginning back in January of 2025 I completely lost my mind due to alcoholism. I reached out the first steps and they help me not just once but twice get my life back together I lost everything and now 6 months later after my second shot going into first step recovery I will have 6 months clean as of the 26th of this month November. I haven't gone here, but I would like to say that the intake specialist I spoke to when I called named Doug is an absolutely amazing man. He not only answered every question I had, but he also gave me sound advice and kind, supportive words that have really helped me in this process. Even after finding out that I would be attending a different facility, he has been there for me with support and help in any way he can and has kept up with me every day to see how things are progressing for me. Absolutely outstanding individual who clearly cares about people and is interested in their wellbeing and not just in getting them into the place he works for. Doug, you are a kind, caring, empathetic soul and have made a big impact on me and my journey through this process. Thank you for all that you do and will continue to do for people who need exactly the type of person you are on their side when they are arguably at their worst point in their lives.

First steps is one of the greatest places you could ever end up for recovery. This place was my home away from home for my stay of 90 days the great staff made me feel so welcomed as soon as I walked through the doors. To the amazing chef Darryn at the oak house cooking 5 star meals to the tech staff some of my favorite were David , Andrea , Jessica , Francisco , Char , and Angie some of the best and attentive staff! The experience was made even better by my counselor Zack p. I was so lucky to have him in my recovery this place is one of the best and I recommend it to anyone struggling with addiction you will not regret it

This is an amazing place. It absolutely changed my life. I came in broken and left feeling like I was able to get my life back. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and very considerate to the needs of each client. Their residential program provides you with a structured schedule that is suitable for learning and not overbearing so that you can really work on recovery. Their outpatient programs allow you to soldify your foundation in recovery while you adapt to a sober lifestyle. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody that needs help.
