I give them five stars because I am diabetic and they on it like definitely on it. The only thing I don’t like is back to back appointments. I do not receive Medicaid and this is out come from my pockets so financially it hurts a little bit but as for the doctors, they perfectly great great, the only thing I said is back to back appointment for the same thing with different doctors but other than that, they absolutely great

The best run VA facility in the United States. I've been patients of the VA all up and down the east coast as well as in the middle of the United States. Although it feels like the NYC Bronx VA has the oldest building, it is the best well run. The doctors there care about their patients more than any other VA. If any doctor touches your records or makes a decision then you have access to that doctor. Also if you need help for any reason and all appointments are booked then you can always walk in and be squeezed in. The James J. Peters VA cares about the vet and the care. Patients maintain their doctor in NYC and fly up from other parts of the country just to have an appointment. It's that good.

Great service offered to persons in need they have a methadone clinic and a residence. It is like a one-stop shop except there is no detox service offered. There are groups and structured programs for clients. I know of persons who have used the service and are now successful. If they did it, so can others. The best clinic experience I’ve ever had. The registration people on the 1st floor need attitude adjustments- you can tell this is a unionized workforce- all else was amazing. Most secretaries are excellent- a couple seem miserable- overall 5 stars for quality care by the people I need to be good at what they do- therapists and doctors- they are wonderful!

It's a bit hard to find the front door for the first time. It looked like a church building, but then I went around the corner and there it was lol. I expected it to be awful HOWEVER complete opposite. Very clean and cozy place. Never crowded. The staff is very patient and concerned with your well being.
There's a welcoming presence as snacks are available in a small wicker basket. Self serve coffee is always available (not messy or sticky at all) cold water is available just ask the front desk clerk. The seats in the waiting area are clean and comfortable with a television that usually shows the news. Restroom is available.
When you enter you ring a bell and look through the glass panel. They buzz you in, you scan your forehead in the digital thermometer and sign in. If you don't have a mask they'll provide you one.
The intake process, groups, one on one counseling are all extremely comfortable and easy. The other clients are very friendly and welcoming as well. Please give this place a try.

Labor and delivery REVIEW : Please do not go based off the reviews .. honestly I was scheduled for inducement here & ended up reading on the reviews and thought the worse of this hospital, it turnt out to be completely opposite. GREAT EXPERIENCE since my arrival. When I tell you all of my doctors and nurses were so loving and sweet and showed how much they actually cared it was heartwarming! They definitely made me feel so comfortable & safe in their arms. Especially my nurse Crystal who’s the night shift nurse she’s helped me with my nerves getting epidural , CNM TERRY & Resident Garrett helped deliver my baby and they were amazing help. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to bad I’m done having kids cause I would’ve returned for my next lol.. thank you guys so much !!

I've had nothing but the absolute best treatment during my stay in this hospital. All the nurses have been extremely caring, super respectful and friendly, couldn't ask for a better care team. Nurse Jazmine has been an angel, goung above and beyond as a nurse. I was still a little hungry after breakfast and asked if I could recieve a second serving, and she delivered instantly with no issue whatsoever.
I came in for surgery, handled by Dr. Eli Kamara, and it was the best I could've asked for. Been feeling great, and whatever they consider any important symptom, they've been on top of all day. Sending in several specialists to check up on me, making sure im doing okay.
I've been several times to the Montefiore Moses campus, and I have to say, the Wakefield center is MILES above it, the halls are quiet, there is a very peaceful aura, 24h visiting for two people, and one person can stay with you throughout the night. Highly recommend.

The 4 South team is truly amazing. I couldn’t have asked for better care from the staff. Even though I was upset about the end results that kept me admitted a few extra days, the nurses and staff made the experience so much easier with their kindness, patience, and dedication.

I was on porole they gave me a violation and send me fro project renewal to up state hospital facilities I came down and.i when back to bpc 1 when it was Bronx psychieartic center the TLR. The old buildings. In 2017i went to Bronx behavioral health center until 2020 the end of the year. In 1420 water place Bronx NY 10461 TLR I ran away to Rhode Island Providence one summer. 2018 or 2019one of those summer. I lived very hard my dad put me in all them facilities. He even got my arrested when I was a youth offincer I watch the BPC staff and gurds they did arrested fonely time with me as a youth offincer the reason I fight in Bronx behavioral health center elwas for my cellphone cigarettes and cash. My stuff. And I hated weed and k2. The smell. So I beat them up. I got beat up for my addiction if cigarettes. I flew 2023 to Santo Domingo. it 2025 my dad wants to kick me out I don't know how keep saying why don't you go live in a shelter and take your $200.00 rent with you. Your a grown man. I am dad I tell him. His 70. Am try to say here so I could get have the Apt for when he goes to nursing. He drinks and smokes cigarettes and is always mad. He don't collect snap I pult 100 snap a month and buy foy the first. He out but it seem like I put more. I know he pays the rent and I give him 200. Sorry for crying. Ps. My storytime worry about food and shelter.

Very good staff, beautiful furniture, and amazing clients. Odyssey House provides teenagers, and adults the right, enjoyable care they rightfully deserve. Staff are glad to assist and will not disrespect you in any sort of way. Programs, Trips, and many other exciting activities will be provided during your visits. Snacks are provided for teens and for adults coffee and other nutritional snacks. Clients who attend "Odyssey House" can decided to come on time for group/individual sessions or earlier for game room or time alone for you to think.
