‘Hurt People , Hurt People’. I needed a free therapist and was able to have 5 intake sessions with a pleasant young woman. I benefited from these sessions as it is always rewarding when we analyze and acknowledge what is going on in our lives. So much was happening for me and I was not able to attend all the assigned sessions. Management was not able to communicate in a responsible or mature manner; I wonder maybe they too are prior clients who have graduated but do not have a total grip on their situation and sometimes need help themselves. My very pleasant intake person became insensitive, cold, ‘passive aggressive’ and quite non communicative. I lead the conversation and realized that I was being ‘expelled’. I really don’t know the reason as I do believe she has her own issues and the Leadership is not of a strong foundation with knowledge of servicing a diverse clientele. Such a shame because this has the potential to be a top notch program in a great community. I only wish I was able to find an experienced, strong, qualified leadership that is familiar with diversity and respect. I was feeling hurt as this was the second time I had to deal with leadership’s lack of sensitivity. It should not be just a JOB when people come to you for help. Fix the structure of this place.

I do not receive Medicaid and this is out come from my pockets so financially it hurts a little bit but as for the doctors, they perfectly great great, the only thing I said is back to back appointment for the same thing with different doctors but other than that, they absolutely great

I have been involved with many counselors and many different places involving my addiction and my mental health issues for many years of my life. Cooperative Care in so many different ways helped me regain my life back plus so much more. The entire staff is absolutely amazing and I don’t know how I would have done it without them. From the front desk people, the IOP counselors and individuals sessions I have had the great opportunity with working with many of them and they are all just the best. I would recommend this place for anyone struggling with addiction and or mental health problems.

Great service offered to persons in need they have a methadone clinic and a residence. It is like a one-stop shop except there is no detox service offered. There are groups and structured programs for clients. I know of persons who have used the service and are now successful. If they did it, so can others. The nurses are great here. They treat you with respect as long as you give it to them in the same manner. The counselors on the other hand are pot luck. You just have to hope you get one that's been in your shoes And knows how things go out here in the world of addiction. Some have attitudes that really need to be addressed by the management. with knee revision surgery performed admirably by Dr. Hip Flores on 9/13/24,.
I was kept overnight as is usual with this type of surgery.
There were so many support people that I would like to thank. From the anesthesiologist and other attending physicians. I remember Liam being prompt with my scheduled pain pills the first night. Tatyana with PT the next day. There were a lot of helpful people. One I thought was exceptional was Adele who actually made that next day enjoyable. She was the perfect professional nurse but was able to make it seem like she was a friend also. She almost made having knee surgery enjoyable. Thank you Adele and Dr. Hip Flores and all the wonderful caring staff that handled people like me recovering from knee surgery. You guys rock.

Horrible service and care for Hispanics, was put in hallway for about 10 hours before getting a room. Also took ten hours of dealing with pain to get something stronger than Tylenol and ten hours to get catscan done when posters clearly state 2-4 hours for wait time. Nurses ignore the patient help alarms and just giggling and having a good ole time at their station.

I was a patient here 13 years ago, and still clean to this day. I am currently attending school to become an addiction counselor, and I couldn’t help but think about my out patient counselor from so many years ago :) This process was by far not easy, but I just had to come here and give high praise to my counselor Jim. I don’t know if he is still there but he was amazing and saved my life. He was kind and patient and relatable… the three things we all really need when getting ourselves and our lives back together during a difficult time. This place is truly a life saver if you are struggling mentally. I can't speak for the drug related therapy but I can see progress in everyone. If your looking for such a service do not even hesitate to come here. Most importantly it's LGBT friendly.
Yes it's important for someone to feel comfortable in their own body, regardless what your thoughts may be.
Please remember therapy is a family process. NOBODY is perfect and EVERYONE should work on communication skills
