Mountainside Ramsey has proven to be a fantastic step down treatment options for clients leaving our care. The outreach and admissions department are so easily to work with each and every time. Clients have also spoken so highly of the quality of the groups, keeping them engaged the entire treatment process.

Mountainside Treatment Center is a great place for recovery I highly recommend it wonderful staff and the place is very clean and neat. I love Amy she is on the counselors there she is super sweet and she can teach and help you grow as a new person in recovery she has helped me so much. I highly recommend her as a counselor!

From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for by every member of the staff—BHTs, nurses, facilitators, psychiatry, and especially my individual therapist, Sean. The attentiveness and compassion shown by everyone created a safe and supportive environment that allowed me to begin healing. Sean stood out from day one. He made me feel safe, heard, and understood. His approach was direct, yet deeply empathetic and transparent about the realities of addiction. He challenged me to take an honest look at myself and helped me envision a new direction for my life. His guidance was instrumental in helping me understand that while treatment is temporary, recovery is a lifelong journey. I leave this experience with a renewed sense of purpose and gratitude. Sean is an amazing clinician who recently worked with our family member. As a very young adult, our family member needed someone who could call them out on the truth and still be empathetic, relatable, and very caring. We know this journey is a process, and we feel fortunate to have had Serenity and Sean on our team. I believe certain people come into your life for a reason, and I believe Sean is one of those people - someone who has had a positive impact. We are all grateful!

The VA gets a bad rap but the people make it good. The system is tough to work with but like I said all the workers, from janitors to Doctors and nurses make it bearable.

Excellent therapists who seem to really care. From time of intake until you are actually assigned a therapist was quite fast. The therapists are compassionate and experienced.

It is a very good program with lots of caring people!

Everyone cares, no one judges. You will be the most important person in every room, and in every conversation. If you want to grow, you will. They took this prideful man and showed how powerful humility can be.

Cliffside park location is a great place to go if you want stay sober. Smaller groups is key in order to feel comfortable, be able to speak, and get the help you actually need. Tommy the tech manager is by far the most caring person I ever met, and we need more people like him at these treatment places.

From the very beginning I’ve had such an amazing experience. My counselor Sam is beyond exceptional and the kindest person I know. She answers my calls and questions and has truly guided me through my journey. I would also like to give a shoutout to the front office coordinator who is so welcoming and supportive and has helped me so much as well. Thank you Sam and Leo for all you do!

Choicepoint has been a really wonderful option for me after waiting to seek treatment for a long time. Since being in the program for 2 1/2 months, I can already see a lot of changes in myself that I didn't anticipate happening so quickly. The team is very knowledgeable and good at explaining medical terminology around addiction into easily understandable language that was easy for me to digest. The group sessions were particularly helpful as they provided an opportunity to share time with others who are going through the same experience, which is not something I have in my "real" life. I had Darien and Sam for group, and both are very kind and good at creating a safe and friendly atmosphere where people that start as strangers feel comfortable sharing private things about themselves. Darien took time out of his day to help advise me once on natural remedies for anxiety, and Sam has a great candor and humor which makes group a pleasant experience - something I never would have expected going into the program. Joanna, the nurse at Choicepoint, is very kind and takes time to explain to you different options for MAT without pushing you in one direction - she explains everything so well that you feel very confident in whichever option you choose. Gina, who I had as a counselor, also helped me process how I make decisions and the behavior behind my actions, which has helped me to understand myself better. It's been a great thing for me and I really recommend it to anyone.

Putting my review in a nutshell,"my mother always told me to "fake it until you make it" and by becoming a rehabilitated human being at,Carnegie Hill Institute,again,I no longer have to fake it. And if there were anyone else I'd thank,besides the Lord,for seeking life' purpose,I thank the generosity of spirit and the way they come from love first and of in their successes at making sure I can regain the trust of others because they trust in me. And without gaining the trust of others,it takes away your will to live.

That first impression matters, and she nails it every time. Then there’s Debbie, a licensed counselor with a heart as big as her knowledge. She’s the kind of person who always has time for you, always points you in the right direction, and somehow knows exactly what to say when you need it most. Enter Erin — the Obi-Wan Kenobi of Seafield. She’s a veteran, a guide, and a master of calm wisdom. She’s been holding it down for years, and it shows. Between her and Debbie, you’ve got the dream team. And then there’s Dan — the Shaolin monk of Seafield. No robe, but all the zen. If you’re lost, stressed, confused, or just need something done, Dan is the man. Reliable, kind, and solid as a rock. If you let this place work for you — and you put in the effort — you’ll walk out with more than you came in with. I know I did.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Seafield. It basically saved my life and has guided me to a much healthier and happier way of living. I have 1 year sober, and I give much credit to this facility for getting me so where I am today. From the West Hampton rehabilitation center, to the women’s sober house, to the outpatient counseling and meetings, it has been nothing short of wonderful and life changing. I have acquired so much from the amazing counseling and people that work here, the way you feel accepted and understood is profound. If you’re looking for help in addiction and turning your life around, you’ve found the right place!
