RevCore has been here for me when I was in danger of isolation, self-depreciation, and they listened so intently.. Every single time I have a meeting with ShuGin or another one of their team, here at the 15 floor of the Times Square, I feel heard. The other day, I received a call from another team member, just to check in on me during the holidays. ☺️ I’m grateful for the over-three-years of sobriety!

Putting my review in a nutshell,"my mother always told me to "fake it until you make it" and by becoming a rehabilitated human being at,Carnegie Hill Institute, again,I no longer have to fake it. And if there were anyone else I'd thank, besides the Lord, for seeking life' purpose,I thank the generosity of spirit and the way they come from love first and of in their successes at making sure I can regain the trust of others because they trust in me. And without gaining the trust of others,it takes away your will to live.

This will be long. I went for detox. First I meet Matthew, cute and nice, same goes with Nathaniel. Then I meet Ben nice man and good advice giver. Then there is Rachel. She is great to talk to and good listener and makes squatting and coughing a funny ordeal LOL, also had great conversation with her and a couple ladies, it was a good time...Time to see Dr. Rambaran he keeps things light and jokes around (with no judgement) which is refreshing. Dr. Jacobs was cracking some jokes too keeping things light. My nurses were amazing, answered any questions, explained everything, went above and beyond and also informative. Nurse Jonatha, Sue, and Yoonee were the best very very nice ladies. Aram and Anna Maria were my counselors, never gave me a hard time about using the phone and listened to what my plan was when I left detox which was go back to my IOP that I was and still in without pressures of doing or going somewhere else. All in all I had a great experience and would suggest this place to anyone. Also I had two different roommates and both were great too which made the stay easier as well. (food not the best, but its not supposed to be The Plaza) Thank you All!!! Cindy T.

Everyone at Monte Nido Laurel Hill was kind, compassionate, and instrumental to my recovery. I felt safe and supported throughout my entire stay. The nurse manager, however, was slow, lacked sympathy in certain areas, and would make careless mistakes that put clients at risk. Her moody demeanor often brought down the positive vibe of the milieu and staff. Other than that, Laurel Hill was fabulous and I am infinitely grateful to everyone.

BlueCrest has absolutely been a life-changing program for me. Going in, I was skeptical and unsure—my only frame of reference for rehab was what I’d seen in movies. I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with compassion, authenticity, and unwavering support. The staff at BlueCrest truly care—not just in a professional sense, but with a genuine, heartfelt commitment to helping every single client who comes through. One of the most powerful and unique aspects of this program is how they approach the Big Book and the 12 Steps. Rather than just skimming the surface, they teach it—really teach it—in a way that’s both accessible and deeply meaningful. I gained insights into recovery and into myself that I never imagined possible. This isn’t just a rehab facility—it’s a place where lives are rebuilt, where hope is restored, and where real transformation happens. I will forever be grateful for my time at BlueCrest. If you’re considering taking that first step, don’t hesitate—this place is the real deal.

This clinic isn't perfect by any means, but it is better than any other one I've ever been on. They give you the "cherry" syrup methadone instead of the b.s. water kind, they don't force you to do i.o.p. or groups or anything like that. And the line is usually not too bad all things considered. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants the help. Also, they offer a lot of help with other aspects of your life including employment and mental health services, as well as helping you with getting your foodstamps or medicaid turned on if you need that. Haven't met any staff member there that hasn't gone above and beyond for me to help with every issue that has come up. UPDATE: so I've been on and off this program like 4 or 5 times. On it now. And of course since the last time I was there which was about 2 years ago there is only one or two of the same staff there. Big turnover rate. But seems like alot of less people on the program or maybe more people getting take home bottles because there is never a line when I go. And they don't allow anyone to "hangout" for like 4 blocks in any direction to prevent the b.s. that goes on outside every clinic in America. I gotta say it's still the best spot I've been to and I've been on at least 5 different ones in ny and nj

I've been to several methadone clinics and Greenwich House is by far the best. Staff is very friendly, accommodating, and professional. If you're looking for a methadone clinic go here, dont waste your time anywhere else. I was medicated on the first day. They dont force you to go to groups. The counselors are very helpful and they have on site medical and mental health services. Update! Today, 7/17/23, was my last day at Greenwich House. A few months ago I had been on 210 mg of methadone for about 4 years and decided it was time to get off. So I began to taper down relatively fast dropping 10 mg per week. When I got to 20 mg I slowed down to 5 mg decreases per week. Anyway, when I got down to 5 mg I decided to go down to 2 mg and that was today. I got my weeks worth of 2 mg bottles and when they're gone I'll be totally off methadone. I did this with no withdrawal symptoms or cravings. And I have not touched dope since I began the program on 4/27/19. I'm so proud of myself and this is a total success story. There is such a stigma about methadone. People say it's like "liquid handcuffs" or that it controls your life and it's impossible to get off and it's just replacing one drug with another, but I'm proof that none of that is true. Methadone saved my life and when I felt I didn't need it anymore I got off, simple as that. I would like to thank my counselor Sophia and Marlene from the medical department for both always being so supportive and accommodating. They genuinely care about all of their patients and deserve mentioning although all the staff is very caring, helpful and professional. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are struggling with addiction. They WILL help you.

Hi everybody! I am a current resident at Samaritan village's inpatient and methadone facility and I think they have a wonderful program! I have been to many programs and this is by far the best. In their residential program, you have access you methadone maintainence although it is not required, you receive your psychiatric medications and have an on premises psychiatrist and primary care Dr although you may see your own. I see theirs and they are wonderful. They do not chastise you if your on a controlled psychiatric medications, it is considered and often allowed if you have a diagnosed. They offer both methadone and Suboxone and the clinic in the Richmond Hill facility has their methadone clinic right downstairs so you can dose upon waking up. The staff is caring and professional, and the community is caring as well. Well that's about all I have to say! If you are struggling with substance abuse and looking to change your life, look no further! This place is 5* and fully covered by almost all insurance as far as I know! I have Medicaid and they cover my services here God bless you all!

My family member had an excellent experience with the ER yesterday. The staff were friendly, pleasant, and professional. Everything was well organized and treatment was top notch. They even called the next day to follow up which was surprisingly thorough. We are glad we chose this hospital. EDITED TO ADD: We actually had to return, for an overnight stay, because the condition took a turn for the worse. The whole situation was scary but all of the staff were just so nice. We got to know some of the employees a little better and they have worked there for a long time - they said the hospital treats them respectfully and takes care of them. It really shows in the care. Holyoke Hospital is an independently owned community hospital, not part of some big conglomerate, and I think it shows.

I had a procedure in the endoscopy department on 04/09/2025. I must compliment the staff on their professionalism, and their knowledge of what was going to take place. They are truly a great surgical team. From the nurses, to the anesthesiologist , to the surgeons. They made me feel reassured, safe and, at peace. The nurse Latoya was very professional and very good at replacing my IV that was causing discomfort, inserted by someone else. Lastly, nurse Brianna was amazing, while I was recovering from anesthesia she was patient and very helpful, she didn't rush me at all and didn't make me feel uncomfortable. Nurse Brianna was also very knowledgable and extremely professional, thanks for the juice and cookie. While I was only under for a short period of time, Brianna gave me all the time I needed to recover, unlike the staff Ears, Nose & Throat; all they did was rush me out of their recovery room after a ten hour operation. DON"T EVER GO THERE. Lousy, uncaring and unprofessional.

I have been going to PHMC since 2018.The doctors treated me good & were understanding willing to help. I do dislike that there's a new doctor every year. Also they have a new system and it seems that they don't have all my records anymore. Since 2018 my doctors have been signing my FMLA papers, prescribed me anxiety & depression medication & have help me start seeing a therapist. This year I went to have my FMLA papers signed & I had to see a new nurse practitioner named Tiffany Turner. I have never met a more angry, self centered, conceited person in this field. She told me "I'm not signing this for you, I don't know you." "You know how many people want me to sign this to get out of work" With my anxiety issues, I just started to cry bc of the way she talked to me & bc I really need these papers for work because I have panic attacks & depression. At the end she said she would sign it but that I should see a psych a therapist & I agreed. Because OHS at work is so specific about how to sign the papers. I gave her a blank one and one pre-filled as filled out by my last 2 doctors in the last 2 years & she agreed to sign them the same & would submit next week. She never submitted the papers the following week, I had nurse Tammy remind her & nothing. I had to miss a day of work & request the medical director Anita to let her know what was going on. Anita had Tiffany Turner fill out the papers but Tiffany decided to minimize my FMLA from 1 year to 6 months and from me being able to take time for my axiety attacks once a day to just 2 hours a month. I can only assume she agreed at first but did this to me because I went to the medical director because she was procrastinating. I literally have proof of the papers the doctors signed for the past 5 years & she decided to minimize my time bc she doesn't know me. Its not my fault that doctors are constantly rotating there. I've followed everything the doctors told me to do. She didn't look at my records prior to the appt to be prepared. After all that page 3 was missing and I had to make another appt with Tiffany, this time virtual. In between that time I had bad anxiety attacks, couldn't sleep, would shake, my eye would twitch because she took away the time I needed from work when I go through those issues & being irresponsible filling out my current FMLA & time was running out. At the virtual appt, I cried bc of what Tiffany was putting me through, told her my issues & that I'm missing page 3. She seem to not have a care about my issues or feelings. She told me that she didn't want to sign the papers bc she doesn't want to lose her licence & because she doesn't know me. That she can tell I have issues by the way I sound. She also told be the the medication Deluxetine that PHMC has been prescribing me was not for anxiety and that they never started that medication there. Deluxetine is also for anxiety and my therapist told me it was best for me. Also the medical director looked into the old system and found that that medication started being prescribed there. The medical director has been assisting me with communication but has done nothing to correct the behavior & mistakes of Tiffany. Finally when Tiffany submitted page 3 to OHS and gave me a copy after a month. She wrote unnecessary, unprofessional info & even lied on the papers. She wrote "patient presents complaints about cronic conditions. She has no supporting special visits and medication that conform her issues. She took it upon herself to fill out form in places that were for the provider. Patient is pushy and persistent to fill out form to her satisfaction. I will not fill this form out for her ever again." Since the medical director is not doing anything about this behavior, I'm going to call the Attorney General to make a complaint & their HR Dept & anything else I can do to make sure Tiffany Turner doesn't treat anyone like this ever again. I made a 2nd appt with another Dr Roberta Powell and even if I had my diagnosis from my therapist released she denied also signing the papers also bc she didn't know me.

I rally for Northwell hospitals , specifically The Manhasset one. My brother recently had open heart surgery and from beginning to the end all top notch service. Customer service is what Northwell strives on and it never lacks. Every employee is at your beck and call literally. Dr Stevan Pupovac was the heart surgeon and he is the kindest, most patient and will explain and draw every picture to help you understand what is needed to get you back to recovery, not to mention he is so handsome. To sum it up this hospital saved my brothers life And we thank God for ever one’s part in that.

During my time as a counselor at Sunrise, I was wrongfully terminated after advocating for a patient who was not ready to transition to the next level of care due to their mental and physical condition. This patient had previously been prematurely discharged, leading to relapse after leaving the subsequent program. With over three years of experience in the field, I have worked in various facilities, but I have never encountered such questionable practices and unprofessional behavior as I did at Sunrise. As someone in recovery for over eight years, my priority has always been providing the best possible care to my patients. Unfortunately, I observed alarming issues at Sunrise, including the mishandling of patient medications. For instance, one of my patients, who was struggling with alcohol use disorder, was mistakenly administered Methadone MAT because the nurse failed to confirm the patient’s identity—a significant error in patient care. Despite this, the nurse responsible was later promoted to Director of Nursing. Additionally, I witnessed unethical practices such as staff selling vapes and cannabis products, bringing drugs to patients, and exchanging personal contact information with them. These actions jeopardized patient safety and undermined the facility’s mission. The Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS) visited the facility frequently in response to numerous complaints, yet the problems persisted, including a concerning number of staff members battling active addictions themselves. While my time at Sunrise was challenging, I am ultimately glad to have left an environment that conflicted with my professional and ethical standards. My commitment to patient care and recovery remains steadfast, and I am looking forward to continuing my work in facilities that prioritize integrity and quality care.

START IS A GREAT PLACE, BUT IGNORANCE WON'T HELP YOU ACHIEVE THE GOAL YOU WISH TO COMPLETE, WITH THAT SAID, YOU DO WHAT YOU SUPPOSED TO DO AND WORRY ABOUT YOURSELF, THE PROGRAM AND THE People there will always help you with answers on your steps to becoming a better version of yourself.
