NexStep Teen Academy Adolescent Outpatient Programs

It has taken me quite a while to write this review because I simply haven’t been able to find the right words to express how grateful our family is for every single person who played a role in our son’s journey. When our son entered treatment, we were scared, exhausted, and uncertain about what the future would hold. Today, I can honestly say that the young man who came home is happier, healthier, more self-aware, and more connected to our family than we could have imagined. The transformation has been incredible, and we are eternally grateful for the support, care, and energy that every staff member poured into him. What stood out most was that every person mattered. From his driver, Chris, who made him feel comfortable and cared for, to Frank in maintenance, who always took the time to encourage and support him, every interaction helped him feel valued and seen. The culture of genuine compassion extends far beyond clinical roles. A special thank you to his therapist, Allie, who patiently worked to build trust and helped him open up despite his initial resistance. Her persistence, empathy, and dedication made a tremendous difference. We are also incredibly grateful for Chris, who helped our son understand that he can be authentically himself while still being productive, successful, and accountable. Those lessons have stayed with him and continue to shape the choices he makes today. His education specialist, Jenn, built an amazing rapport with him and helped him regain confidence in his ability to learn and succeed. The educational support he received was invaluable and helped him see a positive path forward. The impact of this program extends far beyond our son. His siblings are overjoyed to have him home and back to being the brother they know and love. Our entire family has experienced healing because of the work your team did. Thank you to everyone involved in the residential program, PHP, and IOP. You did more than provide treatment—you helped our son rediscover himself and gave our family hope. We will never be able to fully express our gratitude, but please know that the difference you made in his life will be felt for years to come.

Our child benefitted greatly from this program. It got off to a bit of a shaky start, but once she was paired with her therapist Amanda, everything started falling into place. The staff genuinely cares about these kids, and you can tell they are invested in helping them find their path. I didn't feel like she was subjected to a scripted playbook, but rather treating her as an individual with her own specific needs. Like any treatment, it is subject to what is put in, but they do their best to extract the very best out of the kids.

NextStep is a great step down from Residential. The team worked closely with my teen, and was an amazing support system for them.
