I went to this bethel colony of mercy in the early 2000's. I lived in New Jersey and a friend got me a bus ticket and sent me to the colony. I got clean for a while but backslid after a couple of years. But the seed was planted. I got my GED at Caldwell community college while I was there. Many years later on March 30th of 2011 I lost my mom .. that was the day I grew up. I relapsed again for the last time and went to prison for 3 years and finally got clean for good. Bethel colony planted the seed and I'm a better person today. Thank God I went to this place. It did change my life ... My bad lifestyle finally caught up to me and I'm dealing with a lot of health problems. I'm still in a positive mindset even through my trials. Glory be to God for transforming me and my life.

I have been involved with focus for going on 2 years now. I have had nothing but a positive experience from the beginning. The staff have always been super nice and helpful. We started out with the nurse practitioner Sonya and she was amazing. Understandably, she felt my child had far more issues than she could help with (I adopted a child with MANY mental issues so I understood completely). She referred us to Dr. Igbul who was also amazing. At the time for one of her appointments, he was out of town and we got scheduled with Dr. Fairchild. She is absolutely nothing short of amazing. She has helped so much and has answered questions I have had for years that nobody has been able to answer in 10 years. I will stick with Dr. Fairchild forever. I see a lot of negative reviews but like I said, in the 2 years I have been affiliated with them, they have been amazing!

Graduation class ‘24. Recent graduate here. Hebron Colony holds a special place in my heart. FOREVER!!! During my time of healing on the mountain I experienced a sincerity, and honest compassion from the pastors that was real. That mountain is amazing, the presence of The Lord there is absolutely UNDENIABLE!! I met some of the best men in the world there that just happened to get off track in life & sought The Lord to get back on track! I would recommend this place to ANY MAN struggling with drug addiction/alcoholism. Pastor Bryan, Gene, Don and RD are incredible Men of God. It’s my other family now. I could not be more grateful for the care I received here. The staff are amazing and will make sure that you are always comfortable. You will be respected, heard, and treated with dignity. You won't be dismissed, all your questions will be answered. Be completely honest so that you can receive the exact care that you need. You could not ask for better accomodations or understanding. The environment is immediately welcoming. Its quiet, peaceful. They have everything you need, you really just need clothing. (Its a bit chilly, bring hoodies and fuzzy socks) There are even laundry facilities. You will be provided with a vape or nicotine patches if you use nicotine products. You may rest as much as you need, the staff will let you sleep through the night, vitals are during the day. You can call your family, except for during group meetings. No visitors, but the stay is short. The counselors and peer support specialists are very honest, open, and eager to help you with your personal journey, without being pushy or making you feel rushed. Whether faith based or evidence based care is right for you, that is your choice. There are options for both approaches! The idea of group meetings was terrifying for me, an introvert, an addict full of shame and guilt. You are not obligated to contribute, that was reassuring. But I was surprised at myself for wanting to contribute and engage. It was a bit sad leaving. While here, I was not just a junkie, just an alcoholic, a lost cause, all of the negative adjectives I used to describe myself. I wasn't the things my family called me. I wasn't an echo of the childhood I lost. I wasn't an empty, lonely vessel on autopilot. I was a person. A human. Im more than my story, but sharing our perspectives and caring for each other felt like being part of a family. A family where you aren't the black sheep. It was almost overwhelming to feel that kind of support and HOPE. Ill be honest; When I came in, i wasn't ready to get help. The timing was just right. But very quickly that changed. They made me want to be better. Not for recognition or pats on the back. Not for attention or brownie points. They made me want it because they made me see I deserve it, I deserve to live a good life and be happy. If you are thinking about making some changes, please come here. What do you have to lose?

I have been to both the detox and rehab side of ADACT. I had a good experience. I felt welcomed and the staff is great especially Kelly, she goes above and beyond for the patients. The doctors and therapist helped me stabilize my meds. The classes were great too i learned different ways to cope and retrain my brain to start good habits to replace the bad. As an addict I felt like I was somewhere I could relate to my issues that not everyone can understand. Coming out of a toxic marriage that led to my addiction and mental health it was good to be somewhere different and around new people to get away from my usual triggers and start to take the first step to recovery and living a healthy life. When I finished they guided me in the right direction to continue staying on track for my recovery.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Life-Changing Experience — Forever Grateful Julian F. Keith Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center was the turning point in my life. After attending five different rehabs, I arrived here in 2020 feeling lost and uncertain if lasting change was possible. But this place—this team—changed everything for me. From the moment I walked through the doors, the front office staff greeted me with kindness and dignity. The nurses were compassionate and attentive, the recovery coaches and counselors truly listened, and the education team made learning feel meaningful again. My therapist was nothing short of life-changing—she helped me dig deeper and start healing in ways I never thought possible. Even the cafeteria staff made an impact. They didn’t just serve meals—they served encouragement with every plate, and their warmth stayed with me daily. Because of Julian F. Keith, I began to believe in myself again. Today, I’m proud to say I’ve earned my associate’s and bachelor’s degrees, and I’m now finishing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Substance Use Disorders, with a focus on trauma and gender identity. I’m also a North Carolina Board Certified Peer Support Specialist, giving back to others just like me—because someone once did the same for me here. This center helped me reimagine my future and reconnect with my purpose. I will always carry gratitude in my heart for what they gave me. I genuinely believe that without their guidance, structure, and compassion, I would not be where I am today. Thank you to every single person at Julian F. Keith. You changed my life. —Jennifer Nicole Brooks

I honestly would of gave it a 5 star. But a couple of staff were not nice to me. It was mostly night shift. One made fun of me Stimming and i have Autism. She laughed at me stimming on my tippy toes. Jenesia a tech is very rude. Told me i couldn’t go on my tippy toes. That its not allowed, but thats my way of coping/stimming. That i needed a doctor’s order. Which i didn’t i talked to the doctor. I understand the reason why they have to keep the doors open all night. But they could of at least dimmed the lights. It kept going in my eyes and waking me up. I didnt get much sleep being there. That doesn’t help me with my physical conditions. Now for the compliments. Unit 2 overall is such a good unit. I did get treated like a human being I felt safe, and supported. Not like the other ones i have been to that made me feel horrible like we weren’t human beings. Dr.Feldman Lance, now hes the best doctor I have had in any mental health facility. He actually listens to u(if ur not mean or give attitude) and he gets things done. He is also so sweet and very nice, and understanding. I don’t like talking alone to males but with him I was ok. He is nice and gave a nice vibe! Megan the tech is another great staff member! She made me feel safe while I was there. I could talk to her about anything! She was just there! Shes so nice too. Then there is Abby another tech. Shes super nice as well! She helped me calm down . She let me keep stimming on my tippy toes even when other staff said i couldn’t. That made me cry and get upset because they said I couldn’t. But she calmed me down! She is a really good one. And then there is Kenzie the therapist. She was very nice! She cared alot! She listened and helped me understand what I was confused about. She was so sweet! Then there was a group therapist named Kathleen. Oh boy she helped so much! I loved attending her groups when i could of. I am actually going to take what she told us and work on it in my therapy sessions! She made sure everyone got there questions asked. She was really nice because the group room door slams, and I get overwhelmed with that. She made sure it didn’t slam. But overall I would definitely recommend this facility! Now it is different experiences for everyone!

I can't thank Peggy Lombardo (Alumni Coordinator) enough for saving a family member's life. She befriended "Will" long before he was willing to seek help. He was never alone in life because she checked on him regularly and gently coaxed him into getting the help that he desperately needed. Approximately 7 months after reaching out, Will made the decision to better his life by accepting Peggy's offer of help. Once his decision was made, Peggy instantly started moving mountains to get him the help he needed. She was in daily contact with his family offering her advice, supplying helpful contact information, and even talking him through his fears when they became too great and he wanted to run. As a result of Peggy's unrelenting quest to help Will, he has received a Certificate of Completion from the Midwood Addiction Program where he received counseling, housing, a sense of community, independence, and gradually took control of his life again. A little over a month after graduating, Will has found employment and is ready to start this new healthy chapter in his life. When asked if he ever talks to Peggy anymore, the answer is "yes! she's full of valuable resources.". How do you thank someone who has saved the life of someone you thought was lost forever? There is no repayment plan that could ever be enough for this angel on earth. Peggy will always be our angel. She truly has an amazing gift and we are forever in her debt. XO

Great place! Coming into this I was a little skeptical about being treated well. The staff and therapist took their time with me, to tend to my needs as a new patient. I had some bumps along the way until I met Evie Dillard. She was so helpful to me by giving me extra resources to get ready to exit treatment. I’m talking about food, shelter and even information about great jobs. I started working, got a place to rest my and made great friend for life. Thank you so much, Evie.

Lemme tell you about the housing situation 1st. I read the good reviews and the horrible and the bad kinda concerned me. I can tell you the bad was not only exaggerated but most just someone salty and spreading total BS. There are no rodents and I've never been to a house that had zero bugs not even a fly before I got here, not even my father's house. Ok so these 2 floor some with a upper smoking/ lounge deck are nice nice! 4 bedroom 3 full double sink bathrooms , two with walk-in shower , I bath / shower and a half bath by living room. It's fully stocked with any pans coffee pot anything you need. The staff are some of the nicest ppl and you absolutely get to know them. You are treated pretty much how you treat them. Just be kind! Midwood center was the one I went to and the staff there are always awesome. If you need something just speak up, I've seen ppl come through and expect everyone to be mind readers. I would list everyone I love at Harmony but I'm horrible with names but there are standouts. Christine, Crystn (sik). Byron,Lisa, Miss Gail ( Amber always pushing DBT therapy 😬) Bobby, the tech who's name escapes me that calls everyone "Big Dog) And Lastly but firstly Miss Peggy who is the sweetest person I've ever met and she saved my life just by getting to know me calling my phone to talk to someone else. She had my back and actually drove to Salvation Army and helped me get insurance, talked me into Salvation Army in first place and bought my broke ass two packs of smokes She is absolutely a gift from God and deserves to be the highest paid at Harmony! But I'm betting she would do it for free No fear y'all this place is absolutely what you make it. Buddy Stovall

I have been going to several different m.a.t. treatment places over the past ten years or so and had alot of different counselors at these clinics, but never have I had a counselor like the one at Greensboro New Season's, in the past they were all the same paper work pushers having you sign stuff quickly and go on your way. They gotta go through alot red tape, to make this happen. They are not really counselors at these places, but at this particular new season's I met a counselor named Mrs. Lisa. I can't think of her last name cause that's how everyone refers to her but mrs.lisa was a real counselor she asks questions then has questions about those questions she really cares she remembers you and what your talking about at first I didn't know how to take it like this lady sure is nosy, but she began to counsel me and help me with my marriage my kids my job and my family as a whole. She is a really caring person and changed the whole dynamics of my household she really doesn't know how much she has helped. I may have to relocate soon to another clinic and I am gonna miss this place. Hands down best clinic I have ever been to and I been to quite a few. If you need help give getting off opiods give methadone a try it changed my life for the better most definitely. GO- check out Greensboro New Season's they got alot of good people up there. SAVE YOUR LIFE.

Where do I even begin… A little over a year ago I decided I couldn’t go on anymore, and needed to change. My life sucked, my relationships were destroyed, always broke, and I was heavily addicted to fentanyl. Walking through those doors felt impossible, but it wasn’t, and I did it! Now I’m sober, healthy, rebuilding and eternally grateful to everyone that dedicates their life to helping others. It because of God and the people at New Seasons that I’m able to write this review today. THANK YOU! To anyone who’s looking into having a better life, trust in these people. You will not regret it! If you need help or just someone to talk to, my name is Caleb Shane Melton and you can find me on Facebook. Otherwise, call New Seasons and begin walking towards your new life today! Much love
