About Resa Treatment Center
One of the unique aspects of the Resa Treatment Center programs is how they coordinate primary health care services with your substance use and mental health treatment. The founder of the program is a recovered substance user and felt that most treatment approaches weren’t comprehensive. He feels that clients need an integrated approach that nurtures all aspects of a person, including physical, emotional and spiritual. This is why the program includes holistic healing practices such as meditation and mindfulness. They are also committed to the community and family members affected by the disease of addiction.
You’ll start your treatment here with an intake coordinator and an assessment by a professional, masters level clinician. The assessment helps the team develop a personalized treatment plan and determine the best level of care for your situation. The treatment programs offer multiple types of therapies, education and process groups. You’ll learn anger management and better coping skills.
The IOP is a community based program that allows you to address substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders in a structured environment while still living at home. You’ll immediately apply the skills you learn in treatment because you’ll be living in your normal environment. This provides the skills you need to maintain your sobriety once you leave the program.
The IOP is for people who have recently come from an inpatient program or those who are at risk of needing an inpatient program. Because the program is individualized, you’ll be able to meet before or after school or work, in the evenings or on the weekends. The regular outpatient program provides the same services and level of care but at a decreased frequency.

Other Forms of Payment
Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.
Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.
