Their facility includes a stand-alone medical office facility with ample places to park and easy access to Julia Dillon Park for recreational activities and therapeutic walks, as well as the Sunset Motel and Royal Inn, if you have family visiting and staying with you from out of town. 

Acute Care Followed by a Plan for Treatment

When you arrive at SC, you are first assessed for your conditions. Your care team will then determine whether or not you require acute care and stabilization to detox from harmful substances. If needed, they will provide you with supervised care from a licensed nurse practitioner to ensure you are comfortable during your detox. They will provide you with medication to stabilize your symptoms and minimize your discomfort during the process. 

Nutritious Meals with Comfortable Living Quarters and Recreation Spaces

Following your stabilization, you will enter into a treatment program at the facility. The facility offers nutrient-rich meals, comfortable living quarters and peer support care and programming. Therapy is offered through individual counseling and group therapy sessions, with play and recreation therapy at the center of your recovery. 

Return to Work as Part of Recovery

They also emphasize the value of preparing you to return to work. They will assign you a specialist to provide strength-building lessons, education programs and vocational training. 

They will also continue your treatment to ensure your mental wellness is at its best and that you are prepared to return to the workforce. Additionally ,they offer connections to community resources and support services to help you secure work upon your discharge.
