Everybody needs an Amy in their life and I would be lost without mine. I started my therapy journey as a couple, And when that didn t work out, I continued my journey on myself. I can honestly say I am the best version of me at the age of 56 and wish that I had started this many years ago Amy and I don t meet on a regular basis anymore but when I start to question my path, she is still always there to help me get back on track If you re looking for someone to help you remember your self worth I couldn t recommend her more and if you feel like it s too late to start your healing journey I can t disagree with that more. We all do so much for everyone else in our lives that we deserve to put in just as much time and effort on ourselves

I only give 5 star ratings to people who deserve 5 star ratings. The service and support that The Next Right Thing has been providing my family has been life changing. Amy Keller is so intelligent, non judgmental, perceptive and does such a great job of listening but not coddling or sugar coating. Amy Keller and The Next Right Thing have been a Godsend. If your family needs this kind of help, reach out to Amy sooner rather than later.

When I finally admitted to myself and others 8 years ago that I needed help, I didn t even know where to start. I spoke to the staff with The Next Right Thing and immediately felt safe and knew that this was the place I needed to go. I was terrified of this new step that I was taking in my life but everyone who was at The Right Thing made me feel safe and at home. I went into this place knowing I needed to make a change, but I didn t know that my entire life would be changed. Every staff member helped and inspired me to be the best version of myself that I could be. They also provided me with the tools that I needed to cope with my emotions and to continue working through the process of recovery. I love helping other people and showing them that recovery works! I am so grateful for everyone at The Next Right Thing and for all the people I met throughout this journey I am still continuing-people who still go out of their way to support me and be there for me.

Accepted Insurance

The Next Right Thing works with several private insurance providers and also accepts private payments when possible, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Medicaid is a state based program that helps lower-income individuals and families pay for healthcare. Medicaid covers addiction treatment so those enrolled can use their coverage to pay for rehab. When a program accepts Medicaid the client often pays very little or nothing out of their own pocket.

Medicare is a federal program that provides health insurance for those 65 and older. It also serves people under 65 with chronic and disabling health challenges. To use Medicare for addiction treatment you need to find a program that accepts Medicare and is in network with your plan. Out of pocket costs and preauthorization requirements vary, so always check with your provider.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

Drug rehab in Ohio provides comprehensive treatment to address the physical and psychological needs of those struggling with substance use disorders. This may involve inpatient and/or outpatient care.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

adult-program thumbnail image
Adult Program
Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
young-adult-program thumbnail image
Young Adult Program
Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
