Accepted Insurance

Please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

The Recovery Village South Atlanta Drug, Alcohol and Mental Health Rehab works with several private insurance providers, please contact to verify your specific insurance provider.

Other Forms of Payment

Private insurance refers to any kind of healthcare coverage that isn't from the state or federal government. This includes individual and family plans offered by an employer or purchased from the Insurance Marketplace. Every plan will have different requirements and out of pocket costs so be sure to get the full details before you start treatment.

Self-pay involves paying for treatment out of your own pocket. You can use savings or credit, get a personal loan, or receive help from family and friends to fund your treatment. If you don't have insurance or your insurance plan doesn't cover a specific program, self-pay can help ensure you still get the care you need.

Financing your treatment can make treatment more accessible. You'll work with your care provider to set up payment plans, including interest rates and repayment timelines. Financing options vary widely and not all programs offer them, so be sure to get the full details before enrolling in treatment. If you have insurance or other benefits, financing may help you cover your remaining out of pocket expenses.

Addiction Treatments

Levels of Care

Medical detox is the process of ridding the body of addictive substances in a medically supervised setting. If you become chemically dependent on a substance like alcohol, opioids, or benzodiazepines (like Xanax or Ativan), quitting abruptly can cause uncomfortable or even dangerous side effects. Licensed medical professionals ensure the process goes as safely and comfortably as possible while monitoring you 24/7 and administering any required medications,

Inpatient rehabs feature intensive clinical supervision and a highly structured and supportive environment, meaning they are especially well suited for clients in early recovery and those at risk of relapse. Clients reside at the treatment facility and engage in various therapeutic sessions throughout the day, including addiction counseling and recovery-focused life skills training. Many programs also offer evidence-based complementary therapies, such as meditation and massage.

Designed for individuals who don't require round-the-clock care, a partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a form of outpatient care with a higher level of support. PHP treatment can be an alternative to inpatient hospitalization or a step-down option. With daily sessions lasting 6 to 8 hours, up to 5 days a week, a partial hospitalization program may offer medication management, relapse prevention techniques, and behavioral therapy interventions. PHP treatment can be fully or partially covered by insurance.

Telehealth lets you attend your appointment from anywhere, so you don't have to travel, take time off work, or find a babysitter. You may also choose a specialist who is far away, since you don't have to go to their office. Lastly, you may be able to schedule an appointment sooner if you choose a telehealth visit.

Treatments

Alcoholism is a pattern of alcohol use that involves continued drinking even when it causes problems. Alcoholism is also characterized by a physical dependence on alcohol, which causes the body to experience withdrawal symptoms when alcohol is not present. Due to this physical dependence, medically-supervised detox is often necessary to safely recover from alcoholism. Alcohol rehab in Georgia offers a three-step process of detox, rehab, and maintenance to help individuals recover from alcohol addiction.

A quality drug rehab in Georgia can help you overcome addiction. This environment is designed to help you address the complex issues contributing to drug dependence. The goal of treatment is to give you the tools you need to make a full recovery.

Addiction treatment programs in Georgia help individuals to address substance abuse problems. With various programs available, including outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization programs, you can find the right level of care for your specific needs. You can generally expect drug and alcohol rehab to incorporate evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), skills training, recovery meetings, and mindfulness-based therapy. When combined, these interventions can successfully help you overcome addiction and continue to enjoy long-term mental health.

While in treatment for a substance use disorder, mental health services are provided, and you have access to a mental health counselor or therapist round the clock. Clinical staff constantly monitor your care, and you receive a number of mental health therapies including individual and group counseling, relapse prevention education, and coping skills training. Other mental health offerings will vary by rehab.

In Georgia, specialized dual-diagnosis addiction treatment programs address co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Care levels include outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization. Therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy, or dialectical behavioral therapy, equine therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, skills training, and recovery groups — like 12-step — support you in achieving sobriety and sustaining recovery. Developing the tools to establish a solid support system (or strengthen an existing one) will also increase your chances of long-term recovery success.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Serving in the military is both mentally and physically challenging, and can result in trauma that persists even after combat ends. Military programs are tailored to the specific and often complex needs of active duty personnel, veterans, and military families. Clients often access these programs through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Rehabs for women provide a safe, nurturing space for female clients to heal. These treatment programs consider the specific obstacles that women can face during recovery and place a special emphasis on mental, social, physical, and reproductive health. They explore how each woman's experience has shaped the trajectory of their substance use, addressing issues such as sexual abuse and past trauma.

Clinical Services

While cognitive behavioral therapy in Georgia is unique for each person, this therapy follows a standard structure that has proven effective. Clients first learn about their substance use disorder, then learn and practice techniques such as coping, stress management, and resilience to change their thought and behavior patterns.

People in Georgia find that group therapy offers a place to share responsibility for each other's recovery. This helps foster a collective commitment to sobriety, which increases your potential for success and creates a network of mutual support that often follows into personal friendships.

Men and women in Georgia may experience Motivational Interviewing techniques while undergoing individual therapy for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. This approach helps you explore how you feel about drug use and it strengthens your commitment to maintaining treatment. It is particularly useful in the early stages of recovery.

After being on drugs for so many years honestly over 40 years being in recovery from time to time my experience at Recover Village was awesome. They gave me the tools. The know how the wheel power in the advice that I have never never experienced before.. Recover village is number one on my list as being recommended for a place of recovery and getting the know how to just stay clean the counselors are super. The therapist are super Duper in the BHT‘s are very helpful. No one there was out of place and the CEO is amazing. She is truly hands-on and truly believe in giving the patience what they need for recovery. I am inspired so much that I’ve been back two or three times just to give back and some days. I’m a little sad because I can’t give back what I really really want to and that is one Addicted person helping another you talking about five stars. I give them 10 that particular place and I don’t wanna forget the nurses they are great. They are helpful people like Miss Katrina people like Miss Ebony and the young lady Lulu, but most of all I give so much credit to the CEO because she was truly on hands. She even stopped and hugged my wife and gave her some support. I am truly blessed and they have really put me on a mission to stay clean be clean and help someone else in they recovery. I have a couple people that have called me. Who was in treatment with me and they feel the same way now I don’t have all of those elegant words to say and I don’t know how to get it across, but I recommend recovery village south to any One that needs help with some type of addiction any mental health anyone that has a problem of addiction I highly recommend them to recovery village and by the way you can tell them Kevin Foster said so I wanna thank them and I wanna let them know that I am always here for any type of volunteer work even if it’s cleaning the restroom because I appreciate every moment with you gave me thank you for helping me in my recovery please always remember if you want it you have to go after it and there are some hands at recovery village. That’s willing to help you, but you have to be willing to help yourself.

The staff were so nice to me. They really took care of all my needs. If there's anyone out there still living in misery due to addiction, this is a great place to start your journey to a happy, fullfilling life.

I was a patient at Recovery Village South Atlanta, and I am extremely disappointed with the staff and how they have handled issues regarding my intake/medical records. When I received my medical records, they were filled with egregious inaccuracies, incorrect history, and false statements regarding drug use despite a clean drug test upon admission that refutes what they listed in my medical records. It’s incredibly difficult to speak to any staff when calling the facility, they have yet to follow up with me despite saying they would, and I am frustrated and disappointed with how they have handled everything. They do not seem to care about patients once they are discharged. Until this issue is fixed, I will keep my review at 1 star. Would give zero stars if possible at this point in time.
