I can honestly say that Alternative Counseling is one of the most comprehensive, as well as compassionate counseling services available. Audrey Willis is one of the most knowledgeable facilitators in her respective fields. In my opinion what separates Alternative Counseling apart from the other treatment based programs in the State, is the authentic atmosphere as well as caring staff and facilitators. Olalla was a life changing experience and gave me the tools I needed to get and stay sober. Kevin, my counselor, is an amazing and compassionate person who guided me through the recovery process. The Olalla staff are kind and patient and were always willing to give me the help I absolutely needed. The treatment center is located on was a hilltop forest overlooking Puget Sound, which is incredibly beautiful and the perfect environment for recovery. Walking the trail surrounding the property every morning was awesome. The food is wonderful and there is lots of it. I would recommend this treatment center to anyone who is serious about getting sober!!

I was at Ollala back in March of 2024 for a 28 days inpatient stay. It was the best decision of my life., and credit this experience and all I learned about addiction and myself for my continued sobriety today.The entire experience here at Ollala was incredible. The staff and counselors are so accepting and compassionate, they truly make you feel important. I would recommend Ollala Recovery Centers to anyone!!

I just want to shoutout Janice in referrals! She was absolutely amazing when I needed help getting my son into rehab. She wasn’t sure what we needed to get him approved, but she found out on the spot and ensured it was taken care of thru the tribe. I am so grateful for the Puyallup Tribe for taking on my total health care needs(except eye-glasses etc.) even tho I am of a different coastal tribe. It is how it should be bc we are all cousins along the coastal tribals areas and ty again for the SUPERB! I have been going to the Kent Comprehensive treatment Center for a little over a year now. I did have a small break after only being a client for 3 months or so. But came back because I was ready to use the program for what its intended for. I've made some friends at the clinic. I credit the in person art group for helping me rediscover my love for coloring/drawing. The staff are always super friendly. And the counselors are all here for us when we need the help. If you've contemplated going to a methadone clinic, I will always recommend doing it. Cause it saved my life as well as my girlfriends. And I will always be grateful for that

Im on my second week this week and I truly love it the two girls in reception are total sweethearts and my counselor Amy i knew her 5 seconds before I knew I was in good hands I instantly felt comfortable and that I could tell her anything and I new she actually cares and isn't there just for a paycheck ! And idk why I didn't listen to people sooner about getting on the program it's working and I'm slowly but surely getting better

They help you and teach you how to take accountablity for yourself, they tell you when you mess up, then they then you how you can fix it. My road to sobriety has not been without obstacles. But, what I can say is that I would have given up a long time ago if it was not for the entire team at Lakewood CTC. They are all so down to earth and willing to assist however they can when it comes to successfully achieving sobriety. I don't know everyone's names, but you know who you are! Seamar is definitely what you make it but but the staff there is so accommodating and they truly care about the people that come there and will work with you if you truly want to get clean and better your life! Honestly if anyone has something bad to say about the place it's just because they weren't ready to change their life! SeaMar set you up for complete success leaving their doors from housing to legal stuff to doctor and mental health appointments. They let you smoke cigarettes and take you on outings every other week and genuinely understand what their clients are going through. I couldn't recommend a better place! Just remember if you want the help it's definitely there!

My life has basically turned upside down in the past couple months. I don’t know where I’d be without IOP group therapy. The support is very needed. I’m still struggling but learning to deal with my mental stability in new ways. Depression and anxiety have nearly brought me down, but because of the therapists at Providence Mental Health, I feel better about going forward. I still have a ways to go, but feel like I’m doing better through this program.

1 less star because of one unhappy front desk person. The MA who took care of us was very kind and personable. She smile the whole time and very easy to talk to. The doctor was easy to talk to. Front desk- i know it is hard job, but never scoff at people. You dont have to smile, you just have to be nice.
