Treatment locations are in Chehalis, | Treatments Programs Payment Options | PTSD and addiction had me stuck for years. ABHS Seattle helped me finally start dealing with both. The staff were chill and really seemed to care, not just hand out meds. EMDR actually helped me more than I expected. I would’ve liked more groups just for vets, but I still found people who got it. It ain’t fancy, but it’s real. I feel stronger now, more clear-headed than I’ve been in a long time.

After my husband passed, the silence at home became unbearable. I started drinking just to get through the nights. ABHS Seattle gave me a place to grieve, not just detox. The staff was patient, the nurses so gentle, and I never felt rushed or judged. I met other women close to my age, and that meant more than I expected. I do wish there were more grief-focused therapy sessions, but even so, I found comfort here. I feel steadier now, more myself than I’ve been in years.

I came to ABHS Seattle as part of a court order, not expecting much, but the experience turned out to be more positive than I thought. The staff treated me with respect and didn’t make me feel judged. The group sessions were solid, and the educational parts actually helped shift my mindset. I really think they could add more creative outlets, like music therapy or something for people trying to express themselves. That would've helped me a lot as an artist. Still, for someone like me looking for a second chance, this place gave me one.
